The CBC hires dozens of comedians. With your money, of course. Not just their flagship government comedy show, "This Hour Has 22 Minutes," but for something called "Punchline."
Now as you've heard, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got into a spot of bother this week. It was a PR disaster.
Well, enter the government comedians.
I’ll show you the unfunny #Elbowgate “jokes” your taxes paid for, “jokes” that made fun of… anyone who was disgusted by Trudeau’s temper tantrum. Oh, and "Punchline" just happened to leave out some important details about the story, to make Trudeau look even better — and the rest of us look dumber and more petty.
PS: If you’re as grossed out by the government comedians at "Punchline" as I am, go to SellTheCBC.ca and sign our petition. Don’t silence these unfunny losers. Just stop billing taxpayers for them, okay? That’s the real joke here.
