Exemption for Liberal territories proves Trudeau uses carbon tax to punish Conservatives

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

CBC just reported that Justin Trudeau is willing to negotiate the terms of what they’re suddenly calling a “southern carbon tax.” As in, maybe the North doesn’t even have to have a carbon tax. The Liberals will “study” the “impact” first.

Of course a carbon tax would devastate the north. It’s so vast, you need fossil fuels, especially diesel, to traverse it. Teslas won’t work. Neither do solar panels.

You put a carbon tax on the north, and you just made all their milk and eggs and vegetables more expensive to fly in. You just made all their jobs more expensive, or even obsolete.

Now, these same objection apply to Saskatchewan, too. But Trudeau hates that, because it’s Saskatchewan, and they voted Conservative.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has asked to see the same economic studies that the Liberals now promise the north, but the Liberals are hiding them.

And now Ottawa is threatening to cut off Saskatchewan hospitals, nurses and doctors if Wall doesn’t bend the knee.

Global warming is the worst threat in the world, say the Liberals. Everyone has to change their lives to solve it.

Except for northerners. Why?

I think the answer is clear...

Yes, that’s the website I sourced the information from.

If you follow the links from the NRC page, you get to here:
http://cfs.nrcan.gc.ca/pubwarehouse/pdfs/27501.pdf

Which has a graph showing total forest absorption. It’s very variable, but as you can see, the best years peak out at about 120mt absorbed, though it is usually less and can even show net-emission.

We emitted somewhat over 500mt of carbon dioxide last year, and 700+ if you include the "equivalents’ (mostly methane). This means that in the best year they’ve observed, the forests would absorb a quarter of what we emit in a typical one, much less.

Andrew did your left wing site tell you that? We prefer real science. Now go tell me how the green kooks who made BC not take care of the pine beetle helped clean the air?

Canada doesn’t even have a carbon footprint and even if we did, we have more than enough forest to absorb tens of thousands of times more CO2 than we’re producing now. "

Actually, go take a look for information on that. The forests absorb on average, only about 50 million tonnes a year, though it varies dramatically – in years with bad fires, the forests net-emit. This is about 10% of total emissions.

A unproportioned tax unequally applied nationally is unconstitutional – there is even doubt that the feds can tax in a provincial resource jurisdiction. "
Most carbon taxes are being implemented at the provincial level. Wall might be able to block it in Sask, but that’s pretty much the limit of it. That also assumes the Sask party wins another election, which is not something that can be taken for granted.

France and all other European countries don’t want a civil war with 5-10% of their muslims population, so they prefer to wait until they represent 35-40% and full slaughter and destruction occur. In the meantime, dear Westerners, please accept being killed in numerous terror attacks. The world has become so insane, it surpasses any nightmare you could have had. I am disgusted to the core and really mad.. I’m turning off the switch from the news and the horrific and degrading reality of the western world.

The conservative premier of Manitoba needs to do a better job to stop the carbon tax.

Another Canadian citizen, in Saskatchewan, has been arrested for allegedly uttering threats against Justin on Facebook…
http://globalnews.ca/news/3482144/saskatchewan-uttering-threats-prime-minister-justin-trudeau-social-media/
Is it because more people are waking up to Justin and the LPC’s criminality and treason and finding themselves pissed off to the point of expressing their justified rage in public – in spite of the Lying MSM, Fake News hiding it?
Or, have the state’s jackbooted thug hirelings been given orders to start arresting the louder of us dissenters?

BTW: if the feds cut off health funding, Sask. should cut off fed equalization payments. Wall is right where Lougheed found himself with a hostile Trudeau wanting to gut his province in 1980.

The Truedoughs dispise the west and it’s economic independence via oil wealth – this has squat to do with climate – the carbon tax is a diabolical plan to gut the west and rob the east.

- keep going PM one-toke-over-the-line, have another bong hit and keep taxing – this carbon taxing farce IS going to the courts – if Wall was smart he’d start off with an injunction while he mounts a challenge.

That’s right. Independence for Alberta is the only way.

Any such tax that exempts a region would be unconstitutional.

Canada doesn’t even have a carbon footprint and even if we did, we have more than enough forest to absorb tens of thousands of times more CO2 than we’re producing now. Then there’s the carbon sinks oxygen producing oceans off our east and west coast with a massive amounts of freshwater that we have in our country there is not a global warming or climate change issue in this country or the world for that matter… The sun controls the temperature of the planet.!!!

Trudeau thinks global warming is the world’s most pressing danger? Hardly. More like Islamic terrorism or nuclear warfare. I find it odd Canadian politicians are so fixated on global warming when we are one of the coldest and most thinly populated countries on earth. And we have enormous potential prosperity in front of us with our vast abundance of natural resources. Maybe it’s because Canada is so permeated with liberalism.

What Baby Doc should do is tie the carbon tax rebate to the Nortern Residents Tax Deduction. I say this from a purely selfish standpoint, because I would benefit as a Northern Alberta resident. Sadly, my riding and surrounding ridings, including Northern BC, did not vote Lying Party of Corruption, so, like SASK we are shit out of luck. I guess -35 degrees south of sixty is warmer than -35 north of sixty.

I can’t wait till Trudeaus gone. Make it so. I hate the way he speaks, "pwoof of climate change ". Then why does he vacation on islands? Didn’t he say Ebola was the biggest threat a couple years ago? What’s next with this weakling? Stop breathing? I could speculate on issues he’ll face but I’m afraid I’d be right

Ezra, I think you should accept Tarek’s invitation to join him in India, I look forward to any reports resulting from this visit. I’m very happy he is safe and well. When Faith reported on the death threats he had received, I know many people were very concerned.

No Global Warming for over 20 years. The only place there is Global Warming, is inside of the failed models and fraudulently “adjusted” and Urban Heat Island corrupted surface station graphs.

- This carbon tax is such a load of crap. It’s purely driven by politics. I used to think I’d be happy with the CBC being defunded but unless it’s disbanded it’ll just become another Bombardier. The Liberals are sickening.

- The Manchester attack was sickening – the response from globalist shills was even more sickening. I hope Trump moves the Israel embassy soon.

- Great to see Tarek Fatah again. Rebel India? Why not.

Trudeau is demonstrating the long-held Liberal practice of vote-gain public policy. There are always exceptions to rules and laws if it benefits the Party and enhances their ability to get re-elected. Disgusting leftist ideology at work.
