Donald Trump won. I hoped he would.
But big voices all said he was going to lose: the media, the pollsters, other so-called conservatives, including senior members of the Republican Party.
In Canada, the supposedly conservative National Post, and its columnist Andrew Coyne, were rabidly anti-Trump.
According to Coyne, 50 per cent of America — the same America that voted for a black president twice — has converted back into a racist place.
Yeah, listen black people: Some guy in Canada says you have to be worried!
This morning, after Trump’s stunning win, on the front page of the National Post: “America Divided.” It’s really a stream of personal insults, written by Jonathan Kay, not just about Trump, but about those who could support such a bigot.
I doubt they actually know anyone who is a Trump supporter. So they create these caricatures.
When the rest of America was sick of open borders and political correctness and endless wars and trade deals that shut down factories, the fancy people were shocked, because they hadn’t been paying attention. Because it wasn’t cool.
Donald Trump is something new. Most of the establishment still has no idea what he represents. And the fools in the media who didn’t see it coming are now going to try to tell you what it all means.
Ignore them.
They’re still lying to you.
And I promise you, they’ll continue lying to you, as they try to tear Donald Trump down.
Tonight's guests: Kurt Schlichter, author of "People's Republic;" then the Rebel's resident historian, John Robson, who'll discuss Obama's legacy.
Trump won’t do 90% of the promises he made, he won’t build a wall (that’s already changed) he won’t deport 11 million undocumented immigrants (he’s already taken a step back on that), he won’t bring American jobs back (not without reducing wages, businesses are not going to come back), Mike Pence said Trump shares his Christian values about marriage equality but Trump says that SCOTUS has already made a decision that he can live with…
I can certainly understand why people voted for Trump, not because they’re xenophobic racists but because he promised to listen, he said all the right things, if you live in a town that has a coal mine, one candidate is going to close you down & the other is promising to keep you open, if you want to feed your family, there really isn’t a choice…
The right is really good @ false outrage, using the media is part of the con…
On another note, it is always worth remembering the only poll that counts is the one on election day. Everything else is hyperbole!
The motion presented by a muslim brotherhood operative in Canadian Parliament reads:
“Recently an infinitesimally small number of extremist individuals have conducted terrorist activities while claiming to speak for the religion of Islam. Their actions have been used as a pretext for a notable rise of anti-Muslim sentiments in Canada; and these violent individuals do not reflect in any way the values or the teachings of the religion of Islam. In fact, they misrepresent the religion. We categorically reject all their activities. They in no way represent the religion, the beliefs and the desire of Muslims to co-exist in peace with all peoples of the world. We, the undersigned, Citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to join us in recognizing that extremist individuals do not represent the religion of Islam, and in condemning all forms of Islamophobia”.
Yes, and not a word from our conservative MPs, the Canadian Parliament ‘unanimously’ passed this motion, none of the MP (from any political party) stood & questioned it’s language, purpose & effect on ordinary Canadians.
In January Trump and his family will take up residence in the Shame on You Whitey House….where no doubt the house niggas who clean up the jizz and lipstick stained towels will be relieved that the Clintons are not coming back……..:-)
We all know that those polls are a sham – most people love to give pollsters fake answers just to tease them and throw them off. Even I have fun with them. The same is true with voter registration and exit polls. Just like those phone calls asking for political support. The same is true with demographics, trying to say that such-and-such youth voted this way and elders voted that way. Indeed! Ballots are secret, and only after the vote do even a very few admit how they voted. You cannot trust these polls, because even the infamous “correct for 95% of the people 19 times out of 20” are also fake. It is all eyewash propaganda.
The real polls we conservatives see? Well, that’s the turn-outs at the rallies. For months, we saw a few hundred paid ninnies coming to Clinton rallies (with some of the paid bullies sent over to the Trump rallies), with close-up camera work giving the impression of a big crowd. A few hundred, every time! And then those huge crowds of 20,000 or more at Trump rallies, with wide views of them all. THAT demonstrated where the majority were headed. Plus, of course, the fact that voter turn-out was lower this time for young people (they’re incredibly dense and lacking in political knowledge), while the steadfast, wiser elderly voters came out in droves – for Trump.
Hallelujah!
Of course Trump would not be where he is unless the electorate wanted him there. As for Obama, his legacy will be Hillary’s stunning loss as she was stupid enough to advertise her goal as a 3rd Obama term.
