With Donald Trump heading to the White House, so many of Justin Trudeau’s schemes are going to be wrecked.
For one thing: the Keystone XL pipeline is back on. That pipeline would connect Canada’s oilsands, and the fracked oil from the Bakken formation, and bring that ethical oil all the way to Texas refineries.
Keystone XL was approved by the U.S. State Department when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. But billionaire environmental lobbyists like Tom Steyer (who made a lot of his money selling coal) donated $50 million and pledged to raise another $50 million for the Democrats if they blocked the pipeline.
Well, this is Hillary Clinton we’re talking about, so money talks. The pipeline was vetoed.
That swamp is being drained now, to quote Donald Trump. He has specifically said he’s for the Keystone XL pipeline.
Such great news for workers in Canada and the U.S. This is an estimated $10 billion construction job alone.
Canada’s National Energy Board approved the pipeline already. It’s done.
The only question is, how much pouting will Canada’s left-wing politicians do, when Donald Trump personally does his best to make Alberta great again!
