Twitter is run by a social justice warrior named Jack Dorsey. Imagine Jack’s reaction when conservatives like Donald Trump master the medium.
The corporate culture of Twitter is obvious:
The other day, a Twitter staffer “went rogue” and deleted Trump’s account, until it was caught and reinstated.
But yesterday, our own Tommy Robinson, who has nearly 400,000 followers on Twitter, received an unsigned email from Twitter saying he had broken their rules — they wouldn’t say how — and so they were taking away his "verification," the blue check mark next to the name of celebrities and other officials to indicate that it is really them, not an imposter.
So it’s not about verification any more, is it? It’s about validation.
Sure, you’re really still Tommy Robinson. You just aren’t a full person, like Keith Olbermann, Harvey Weinstein and the Black Lives Matter extremists, who still have their blue check marks.
Censorship often happens by governments, but now it's been outsourced to the Democrats friends in Silicon Valley, who are much more vicious and much less procedurally fair.
Their goal is clear: destroy conservative voices. Twitter literally announced that what you do in real life — not just on Twitter — will be taken into account as to whether you will be de-verified, or suspended.
How is that not a political weapon? It is.
Let me put it another way:
Donald Trump will bust up Silicon Valley.
Or they will bust him up.
