Raheel Raza: The reform of Islam will come from Muslim women

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

I call Raheel Raza “the ideal Canadian.” As an activist and author, she has spoken out against Islamic extremism at great personal risk.

A Muslim and an immigrant herself, Raza is a tireless freedom fighter and patriot. Her story is a real inspiration.

She collaborated on the powerful documentary “The Honor Diaries,” exposing the scandal of “honor killings” and other anti-woman abuse that is rampant in the Muslim world.

Tonight she tells Ezra what lies at the heart of Islam’s fight with the West, and how we can fight back.

PS: This week, we're away on the first of what we hope to be an annual Rebel Cruise, a chance to spend quality time with your favourite TV personalities and a way to make money to cover the costs of our programming.

So, we pre-taped interviews with some of the stars of our Rebel Cruise so you can get to know them on a personal level. Each night this week, we'll be showing an in-depth interview with cruise participants, like Raheel Raza, Daniel Pipes, Faith Goldy, Paige MacPherson and Candice Malcolm.

@peternetterville….May I humbly suggest….Don Cherry…..:-)

At first I said it as a joke….but then….THAT is exactly the ingredient that works….but let’s face it …none of the conservative candidates have even a nickle’s worth of that hutzpah.

I will be applying for my Conservative Membership soon so as to have a say who may provide direction. I encourage other like minded individuals to do the same. Lieberals do not care whatsoever. however, conservatives seem to be directly connected at the grassroots level based on my experiences as a non member.

Great post Liza…!!!!!
Citizenship in this country is an outstanding Canadian privilege and whoever has been granted that privilege should beyond all at least appreciate it..!!

And for people that know what sacrifices have been made for them, and what they have been given, they have no problem living in this country and integrating with all the mainstream citizens contributing with their effort to society for a greater good and for the greater whole of Canada and Canadians..!!

Trost is looking more appealing, Leach less so by the day.
Nobody should get preferential treatment. Having said that, the safety and sovereignty of the country should out weigh any consideration for pending immigrants. Bring Yazidis and Christians in, but the march of Muslims must be dramatically slowed to a crawl. Canadian citizens should come first and citizenship should be treated like the privilege that it is (its not a right.) Time to clear the fog and call Islam what it is, a threat to our sovereignty.
Demands and declarations from special interest groups, need a reality check. Time to give all marxist special interest groups (puppets and instigators) a reality check. Somehow the flow of Soros funding has to be stopped.
There is a lot going on to pay attention to. At this point in the game, Raheel’s fairy tale just seems like subterfuge.
Trost seems like a good Saskatchewan boy, we’ll see.

I agree Liza… we should get a conservative membership at the federal level and vote for who we think will look after the country the best… Brad Trost wants to vett immigration applicants and he believes in fair treatment for all the A.B. LGBT Q DEF ABC communities but they should not receive any preferential treatment more than anybody else… Kelly Leach believes that they should receive preferential treatment as well as other minorities as opposed to what’s good for the greater whole of society…
Brad Trost has a working background and has not been a career politician only interested in a pension or questionable kickbacks…
He openly opposes everything that are Liberal government is doing now. Check out his website and Twitter and Facebook… He is the commonsense PC candidate for the federal job…
He is a true conservative through and through and hold the same values as Brad wall and incidentally they’re both from Saskatchewan..

- Islam seems to have a big hate on for women. Western feminists clearly have no trouble with this.

Having read all of the comments in both this and the short clip threads, it seems there is one who is sympathetic to Rahee’ls stance and one who is partially. Everyone else so far feels it’s either a ploy or naivete on her part. Interesting and encouraging to me that there are so many Canadians who disagree with Islam getting cozy in our country. Now we have to get our politicians to do something about it. I encourage people to pay attention to the conservative leadership race, get a membership and vote for the leader they think will act on the issue of immigration in a definitive way to keep our demographic from tipping. To me that is the number one issue right now, because a tipped demographic will be the end of our free society and we will be second class citizens. We need a strong leader to get Trudeau out.

@ Roger " … “with no knowledge of how it will play out.”

Ahhh, but we do know how it will play out. There are numerous examples of what happens in countries when the Muslim population gets too high. The European nations only being the latest casualties.

You are correct, at present we (Canada) are not ruled by common sense.

Moderate Libertarian bleated: "
RICK PLESNIK: Do you know what’s gonna happen you stupid idiot? Do you know what’s going to happen? YOU JUST MADE THE LIST."

You are grossly misinformed by your lieberal masters. Everyone who is not muslim is already on the “list”. Be assured of it!
commented 2016-11-22 06:54:28 -0500
I would like to believe the Islamic religion could change into a more peaceful presence in the world, and it may given a few more centuries, I am not sure.

However, wouldn’t it be prudent to wait and see with the population we have now, before submitting to a mass immigration with no knowledge of how it will play out.

This is only common sense, but at present we are not ruled by common sense are we?

Anonymous asked, “Why is it that the only time Ezra gets along with a Muslim, is when that Muslim has an axe to grind with Islam?”

The answer should be obvious to you, but I guess it is not.

The reason is because any Muslim following the Qur’an wants to kill anyone who is not Muslim, and Jews are at the top of that list.

It should be fairly obvious to you that Ezra, or literally any intelligent person, would be able to get along much better if that person does not seethe hatred for him and want to kill them simply because he exists.

Surely even you can understand that, Anonymous.

@anonymous….Islam doesn’t even use an axe…they use a k-Bar knife and they don’t even care if the edge is keen….

The bottom line for Muslims living in a non Muslim country, when push comes to shove, are they going to stand for the flag of the country they call home or sharia?

The concept of Islam, ANY form of Islam, merging with and embracing modernity and western style liberal democracy is an oxymoron. It’s logically incoherent. Not just Islam, but ALL religions are personal declarations of what one believes to be the objective truth in the spiritual realm, and about the nature creation, the identity of the creator and all related truths that would logically flow from that belief. And what is the foundation of a religious belief if not the life and teachings of the founder of that religion, and his or her immediate followers, and that which they passed on? We have the Qur’an, the Hadiths and the life of Mohammad to tell us exactly what true Islam embraced as objective truth. Raheel Raza and Terak Fatah are nice folks, but they’re not true Muslims no matter what they say. Being Muslim isn’t like being Italian. It isn’t a methodology for spirituality, it isn’t a cultural heritage, it isn’t genetic, It’s what they believe to be the objective truth. One can no more reject the teachings and life of Mohammad and logically call themselves Muslims, than they could claim to accept Jesus as their personal savior and call them selves Buddhists. We have no power to affect objective truth by our belief about it, the best we can do is to be either right or wrong. And since all religions contain at least some dogmas that contradict the claims of every other religion, and since truth is absolute and exclusive, all religions except for one must necessarily be wrong. It’s possible that they’re all wrong, but I think that’s rather unlikely. Although I really appreciate Raheel Raza and Terak Fatah, and all others within the Muslim community who are trying to bring Islam into the 21st century, with acceptance and tolerance for all, they are living lives of logical contradictions. Since 9/11 – IN THE NAME OF ISLAM (SATAN): 32,283 Attacks, 206,562 Killed, 289,319 Injured that we know of.

@peter Netterville – I sort of agree. What I was meaning however was a comparison on both islam and old christianity(by old I mean pre-schism) concerning dogma, rather than violence. Yet if you do think of violence, compare islamic violence towards christians with old christian violence towards pagans. Another good comparison is sunni vs shia violence compared to catholics versus "heresy such as the cathars and the waldensians before the peace of Westphalia. Basically way back before christianity reformed, it was also executing people with different opinions or declaring all out war on people of other faiths such as the various Slavic faiths. The problem with islam is that it has not evolved from this medieval set of ideas/values, unlike christianity.

@liza Rosie – I’m only stating it’s not impossible, I’m not giving a time frame lol. It could take thousands of years for all I know.

Although not an expert, I have seen and heard at least 1000 videos and stories on Islam. Raheel is the first person I’ve heard that suggests they can change and conform to Western values. I respectfully believe that she is wrong.
Even slaughtering a cow for halal, the men have a smile on their face and cannot wait to hear it scream. Most of Islam can be described as a sickening Blood-Thirsty group of people.

All males will join jihad… It’s just the way it is.
Noncompliance is a death sentence for them as well as their families… They will comply because the Muslim community is a very close knit community and every Muslim knows all the Muslims in their communities… The jihad will be manned…
And when the time comes when that happens the non-supporters however small of a percentage will be purged from the ranks of mainstream Muslims…
commented 2016-11-21 23:38:50 -0500
When the jihad is called for and they are rounding up the people to start chopping up the nonbelievers the moderates or the so-called moderates are given an option… Go chop up the nonbelievers or have your family and yourselves chopped up in front of your eyes and then you chopped up after that… What do you think they’re going to do..??!!!
Ship them all home and help them over there or risk or advanced societies to be turned into shit holes to suit the Moslem elite.
commented 2016-11-21 23:34:20 -0500
There hasn’t been a single re-formation to the Quran or to Islam since its conception 14 or 1500 years ago…
And now if any of us have been indoctrinated to believe that there are some gentle and moderate Muslims and that they could be converted sometime soon and by a woman… Think again…
Islam will never ever ever ever be repealed by a woman.
This is just another story sold to us by the left-wingers to let the so-called moderates in… Lebanon is still the best example the best recent example in the Middle East of what happens when you’re population is compromised by the numbers… You are the unbeliever and you will be converted or annihilated and that’s just the way it is…
I have no problem helping these people out but we should help them out in their own countries and our dollars would go a lot farther over there as well.!!

I can never forget Brigitte Gabriel who used to live in Lebanon in the days where Lebanon accepted all cultures and the capital was called the Paris of the Middle East. They had amazing muslim neighbours who lived like them with liberal values, befriended them and all was beautiful until the day the muslim population increased to 10% and more and the muslims started to make more requests to eventually get sharia law in the country. Brigitte lived for 7 years in a hidden basement with her family, scared for their lives, not one day, but every single day. Yes they were very nice muslims, nice neighbours…. but they ended up on the other side, the side of the enemy that kills. This pattern has been going on for centuries in all those muslim countries that were christian before.

I agree with some of the comments from Karan Singh. The islamic religion and sharia law are based on the quoran and we know it’s completely flawed. We have speakers like Robert Spencer who is a great man. He has studied islam for many years. He says that 25% of the quoran says to kill the infidels and as Karan says, the quoran clearly says that women are inferior in every way. There is only one answer: to reject the quoran entirely. I am convinced as it has been said that the quoran was taken or copied from the bible and the book of jews whatever the name is. And if the quoran is rejected, the muslim religion has no reason to exist. So I would like to know why people like Raheel Raza are so obstinate to keep their muslim religion?
commented 2016-11-21 22:41:17 -0500
@ Karan Singh “While we all should commend Raheel Raza on her work for muslim women, specially her endeavor to reform islam.
Nonetheless, I fail to understand how could you ‘reform’ something which is inherently flawed.”

“Reforming islam means changing the core of quran, which is not permissible.”

Karan Singh, precisely.
