Over the weekend, the New York Times published an excerpt from Donald Trump’s personal income tax return from 1995. The Times didn’t even allege that Trump did anything illegal. The only illegal act was by the Times in printing it.
The return says Trump made about $45 million, but lost $915 million. So his net income for that year was minus $872 million.
And that’s the liberal talking point: That Trump is a loser. And because he wrote off that loss against other gains, he’s not paying his fair share in taxes.
But I’ll show you Hillary’s tax return from last year: She did the same thing. The New York Times pays no taxes, either. It’s a money-loser.
Like any businessman, Trump made money some years, and lost money other years.
What have Hillary and Bill Clinton ever done as entrepreneurs? Nothing, of course.
This is not just the politics of envy. It’s also proof that Hillary Clinton and her entire world are takers, not makers.
And if you think this is only about hating Donald Trump, you’re wrong.
It’s about hating any maker, any doer, any entrepreneur everywhere...
