Trudeau’s health minister wants to change how we all eat, “from farm to fork”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Canada’s most boring cabinet minister, Jane Philpott, has announced changes to the Canada Food Guide. Except she also talked about changing food transportation and distribution and marketing. Watch, I’ll show you her statement.

To a leftist activist like Philpott, health is the doorway to everything — to nationalizing whole swaths of the economy. That’s what Obamacare did. But we already have a form of Obamacare in Canada, so this is the next step.

She’s already telegraphing that she intends to treat many food items like cigarettes: Warning labels on foods she doesn’t like. And more taxes, regulations, fines and red tape for farmers and food manufacturers.

Philpott knows nothing about how food is grown or processed or sold. She just knows that she’s a doctor, so she wants to treat the entire population like we’re her patients.

And she’s a liberal, so she wants to treat the entire country’s population like were idiots.

Maybe while we’re at it, that hypocrite Justin Trudeau can tell us how how he can call for the banning of candy bars but for the legalization of marijuana at the same time...

TONIGHT'S GUESTS: Lorne Gunter and I talk about this new "nanny state" plan by the Liberals, and why "progressives" are so prone to this kind of meddling.

Then filmmaker Phelim McAleer ("FrackNation") tells me about his terrifying experience of being threatened by protesters of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The fourteen year old Khymer Rouge soldier pointed his gun at the buddhist rice farmer and said “Ankar (the central government under Pol Pot) has ordered…the people will make the rice grow faster”

The buddhist farmer replied “You cannot make rice grow faster…you can only be kind to it”

Let’s talk about a common product , say Tide laundry detergent. Most fair people would agree that it is a good product that does a far superior job than the cheapest dollar store brand. Now what if we empty the box of Tide and fill it with the cheap brand detergent. Sooner than later you will figure out that the product isn’t as advertized. The product inside the glitzy orange box isn’t what you think it is! Not as advertized!
This applies to politics, to political philosophies. PROGRESSIVE is the brand name on the box. It sounds good and who can argue with progress? But what’s inside the box? Marxism . Of course the mid grade detergent is branded Socialism , but it’s just another euphemism for Marxism.
Deep down, most of these politicians on the left are Marxists. They are not what Coors Lite is to Coors. There is no Marxist Lite. And there is no Progressive Policy Lite. It all takes us to the same place , Misery .
If we are going to beat these people , these Marxists ,we need to stop calling them Progressives and start exposing them for the Marxist ideologues and demagogues that they are.

Here is the inconvenient truth about “sustainable agriculture”….if you can’t earn a living doing it it ain’t sustainable.

And you can bet the vegans are going to try to commandeer this.

Liberals are a stubborn people ,and for their betterment, they must be forced to change, even against their will!

Where the hell do all these brainless twats come from?
As yes, a liberally educated moron.

Penson – bend over, you’re about to be raped by your evil liberal masters. You are so foolish, it will fun to watch you and your ilk taken down. Only a fool would think that this government actually cares what happens to anyone in our country. They are dismantling our food chain, and many are going to starve. I hope that you and your imaginary friends pay the full price, and are the first to perish.

Chris Mcgauley; good old days? Starting decade 7 and still eating like that. Although only on the weekends. Eggs in bacon fat ……mmmmmm.

Penson, your type have been summed up well,

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” C.S. Lewis

Ah, the days as a kid. Spending a week with grand parents at the cottage. Breakfast in cast iron pans, bacon first of course, then throw the eggs in and baste them with the bacon fat. Best in the world.
Of course you need toast smothered with real butter and home made jam filled with sugar.
Supper was usually fresh fish, again fried up with real butter, yum, yum, yum.
And then home made pies, with crust so filled with lard. The good old days
59 years old, heart is great, cholesterol fine.
F off nanny state

Phelim, not many people know this, but you can easily get your co-ordinates on google maps and that will lead the police to your exact location. Provided you have internet available on your phone.

why tell us that we have to better our ways with sustainable agriculture, tell the Saudis who are being permitted to buy all our wheat/grain agriculture industries…we won’t have anything left for Canadians by the time the Libertards are done with us

There you have it folks… liberal loving dipshits like Sean Penson agree to this type of government dictatorship because t(HE)y need to be told what to think!

Sean, you’re a liberal sheep who does what you’re told because you lack the mental capacity to think for yourself. You’re incapable of making your own decisions, which is why you wholeheartedly support a totalitarian style dictatorship government that can make decisions for you.

- Ahh Socialists, whatever isn’t banned will be mandatory. Highly educated (indoctrinated) fools who’ve made it their mission in life to tell everyone else how to live. They’ll consult with everyone who agrees with them & come up with policies that have no connection to reality & nobody but them wants.

- Bought & paid for professional protesters. Dare not cooperate with them & you see just what they’re all about. Nothing but violent thugs.

- Looking forward to watching you guys take on the UN. I’m not a big fan of those people by any stretch of the imagination.

Philpott and co., before telling us …. again…….what to eat and when you should start by enforcing labels that will tell us where the food comes from, what is in the food, are there GMO in our food; they should also make it “easier” for local farmers to bring their food to market. With your added regulations and carbon TAX the price of food can only go up.

Penson…your an absolute leftist regressive fucktard hypocrite. That may be your best, (as in the most warped) post to date, and you have had some really fucked up posts. Seek help for you serious mental issues. Really!

Sean, I have been saying that about you all along, but you don’t seem capable of “betterment”.
