Yesterday, Ralph Goodale, the public safety minister, said:
We make sure when doing the vetting that we’re not only checking Canadian records but also international records to make sure when it comes to identification, when it comes to any criminal record, when it comes to any immigration violation in the past or any other reason for any concern about public safety.
But no-one said that Sharif was a criminal back in Somalia (as if Somalian documents and records are even reliable.)
The problem is people who hate the west and secular society.
Sharif actually did talk violence, after coming to Canada. Police interviewed him in 2015. But he wasn’t deported or charged.
Because that would be “Islamophobic”...
