Media Party criticizes Catherine McKenna for the first time — and she panics

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Catherine McKenna, the Liberal global warming minister, went on CTV over the weekend and spouted her lines — the same lines she has said a thousand times: “Clean tech.” “Pricing pollution.”

But this time, the one asking the questions was Evan Solomon. I think he's a moderate liberal, but once in a while he asks a real question that the rest of the Media Party won’t.

Tonight I'll show you some of their conversation.

Solomon called McKenna out on a few things, and I think he got under her skin.

He asked her about Jason Kenney, Doug Ford and Brad Wall — three political leaders who are opposed to her carbon tax, and unlike 99 per cent of reporters, he didn’t drop it after one go. He pressed her on her talking points, and she started to look ridiculous.

So she lashed out, saying she "has no time for folks who are deniers."

She and other environmentalists use the phrase about anyone who denies that the globe is warming. But that should include the UN itself: Even they've noticed an 18-year hiatus, where the world’s climate has stayed the same. Or someone who notes that the globe has been slowly warming for 150 years, because we’re still emerging from the last Great Ice Age. Or who denies mankind has anything to do with it. Or who denies that we in the west have to do anything about it, because China is the world’s largest emitter.

Or someone who denies that putting a carbon tax on Canadians will have anything to do with any of the things I just mentioned.

Even Evan Solomon knows that’s arrogant and dismissive, as I'll show you.

We're getting sick of being told what we can think or say or do; that we’re deplorables, we’re deniers, we’re racists or whatever.

If you disagree with the Liberals, you’re not just someone with a different point of view. You’re a non-person.

Do you doubt that, soon, you will have to swear an attestation that you believe in the superstition of global warming before you can get service from the government...?

TONIGHT'S GUESTS: Author and columnist Barbara Kay joins me to talk about the latest in the Lindsay Shepherd saga:

A campus pro-life club has asked her to m.c. a debate on abortion, which Barbara will be moderating.

Then Sun columnist Anthony Furey and I talk about Liberal Finance Minister Bill Morneau calling a female Conservative MP a "neanderthal."

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

People that live in cold climates by definition require and use more hydrocarbons to keep warm .So if you believe in global warming and climate change why would you start moving tens of thousands more people from warm climates to climate countries that are extremely cold?

On a side note, did any of you know that former rebel, Andrew Lawton, lost his radio show with Global? Screw you global!

God I hate the media party.

It is incredible how Global keeps some douche bag leftist like Craig Needles around, but they axe Andrew Lawton.

Weather Channel co-founder Joseph D’Aleo said in an article back in January 2010 that global temperature was being artificially skewed upward by progressively eliminating more and more temperature stations in cooler locations, thereby making the global climate appear warmer than it actually is, and more so over time. So if the temperature appears to be getting warmer, it is likely just staying steady, and if it appears to be staying steady, it is likely getting cooler. Which is undoubtedly what is happening now as we are currently on the downside of a moderate solar sunspot cycle, and about to enter the least energetic solar cycle since the Little Ice Age about 400 years ago. Check out Joseph D’Aleo’s excellent global climate videos on Youtube.

Excellent content, especially the role free speech, debate and parliament in a western democracy.

Don’t underestimate Gerald Butz. Butz has his environmentalists in deputy ministerial positions in key ministries who filter the business of government as it moves up and down the food chain. Much of it behind the scenes, but some of what I have observed is bloody scandalous. They are environmental zealots – nothing stands in their way. This gender crap is their shallow way of pandering to a specific group. Their main interest is environmentalism – and if the economy is destroyed, so be it.

I was in Washington a few years back when the Anti Keystone rally took place. I was impressed by how far many protestors traveled to express their peaceful opposition – free speech in action! And so many hollywood celebrities pontificating about something they know little about (America likes celebrity). Towards the end were three native chiefs from northern Alberta and BC – articulate, reasoned, powerful arguments – the best of the day in my opinion. At that moment I was embarrassed to be Canadian

I recognized another Canadian in the crowd that day – Justin Trudeau. I didn’t pay this opposition nobody much attention at the time – Yeah right.
Trudeau and Butz wants Canada’s oil industry shut down – and they need power to accomplish his goal. That’s their end game.

Glad to see Taxation without Representation can be pushed on us by Liberal fanatics.

Every time I hear McKenna speak I think valley girl. She definitely has the accent down pat and she confirms with her nonsensical drivel. Here’s the Wikipedia definition and Climate Barbie checks off most of the boxes.

Valley girl is a socio-economic stereotype depicting a class of women characterized by the colloquial California English dialect Valleyspeak and materialism.

Originally referring to upper-middle class girls from the Los Angeles commuter communities of the San Fernando Valley during the 1980s, the term in later years became more broadly applied to any English-speaking female—primarily in the United States and Canada—who engendered the associated affects of ditziness, airheadedness, and/or greater interest in conspicuous consumption than intellectual or personal accomplishment.

In From There to Here, How I Became a Skeptic of Anthropological (Human) Caused Catastrophic Climate Change I wrote: “Not a skeptic of Climate Change, as long as the Earth has had an atmosphere the climate has changed, sometimes greatly and sometimes very quickly. Nor do I doubt that we humans have had some effect, I am sure we have. The question is how much, and if the effect is overall positive or negative?” I guess that makes me a Climate Denier. http://heinzegroup.com/climate2016.htm

OK petulant Climate Barbie… So It looks like snow in Ottawa on Wednesday and also on Friday!… Time to go for another photo-op bike ride maybe?… “Man made global warming” is a daily fact of life in our nation’s capital I guess?…

I don’t think that many Canadians even buy the lie anymore. We all know the models and the math is skewed. Its Climate Barbie who should catch up with Canadians, not the other way around.

If Butts was forced to watch your commentary on Climate Barbie, it would probably blow his mind.

Hard to believe that Barbara Kay hasn’t got some kind of position on abortion, since as she said no one is neutral

This is what you get when you appoint people based upon SJW quota’s instead of qualifications. Quite frankly the know nothing cLIEmate dunce is embarrassing. The REAL Deniers are those who ignore the Scientific Method, which states that when your 73 IPCC Co2 based Model predictions have ALL Failed. The hypothesis your models are based upon are WRONG

Professor Richard Feynman, Nobel Laureate in Physics said,
“It does not matter who you are, or how smart you are, or what title you have, or how many of you there are, and certainly not how many papers your side has published, if your prediction is wrong then your hypothesis is wrong. Period.” Climate predictions are consistently wrong, so the hypothesis is wrong and the computer models built on it are wrong and produce meaingless results. They keep basing public policy on failed science and call us deniers. http://joannenova.com.au/2013/06/even-with-the-best-models-warmest-decades-most-co2-models-are-proven-failures/ The entire Global Warming scam was never about the environment, is and always has been about imposing a Global Wealth Redistribution scam. “Climate policy has almost nothing to do anymore with environmental protection, says the German economist and IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer. The next world climate summit in Cancun is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated.” – Ottmar Edenhofer

For those who may not know, Ottmar Edenhofer is the co-chair of the IPCC Working Group III.
https://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/11/18/ipcc-official-“climate-policy-is-redistributing-the-worlds-wealth”/ Canada’s carbon scam will fail, because socialism always fails.

We don’t need a Carbon Tax to fight Pollution…we’ve HAVE been fighting it for Decades now…from Catalytic Converters…to eliminating deadly Chemicals that were used regularly in the house when I was kid…to using paints that used to be made with Lead & strong Oil based Solvents that are now almost always Water based…to Environmental Regulations being forced on Industry to clean up their act…

This hit home for me when about 10 years ago while driving on a city street…I smelled some really nasty exhaust fumes from a block away from a ’64 Corvette…these cars had a motor 4 times the size it needed…and NO Pollution Controls!!…

No wonder I developed Asthma as a kid in the 60’s…if one car did that…I couldn’t even imagine going back in time and breathing the city air when NO cars had Pollution Controls…

We’ve come a long way already…without having to impose Carbon Taxes…

Morneau is going to take Canadians who don’t agree with the party line kicking and screaming into their idea of the future, regardless. They will NOT change their tack. They will dictate and force attestations, you can be sure of it. Full on totalitarian and they don’t care what we think of it. This affirmative action plan for women and minorities is bullshit. All we get is identity politics and we’re sick of it, but too bad for us.

Climate Barbie has no time for anyone who disagrees with her. She is utterly brainwashed and is incapable of logical thought.

Trudeau is making absurd speech laws, forcing attestations, flaunting his terrorist buddies in our faces.

…and on and on. We could all write pages one each and every clown in Justin’s pocket.

Telford and Butts in the background are pulling all the strings of all of these puppets. I seriously think there is something terribly wrong with these two. The man (and women) behind the curtain are single minded and determined to tear this place apart in order to control it.

I find it two faced for Justin Trudeau to wish me a “happy Easter” and then say " For our Family Easter is a chance to celebrate along with Christians across the country" But then at the same time deny summer students jobs because the Cristian employer fails to attest to something against their Christian faith. Trudeau is a two faced biggot!

Evan Soleman is probably one of Canada’s best Political Journalists. He likely leans a bit left in his real life, but doesn’t seem to show it in his work.
Having been fired from CBC for not that big a reason, (moonlighting in selling art) might have pushed him towards the center, although we can’t trust him, as he is still a friend of Maclean’s chief Paul Wells, who is a friend of Trudeau’s.
At least he is not like Andrew Coyne who calls himself a Conservative, and is a closet Liberal.

California Kate isn’t going to panic for too long.
1. She’ll just slip in some clauses into the upcoming M103 laws stating “climate change denial” and its narrative (carbon taxes) will be covered under hate speech.
2. Use M103 to ban the Rebel or get Justin to force FB/YouTube/Twitter to do it.
3. See to it that Mr. Soros opens his wallet in time for the next election (3rd party loophole)
4. Refuse any more interviews with the likes of Solomon. No more hard questions allowed.
No panic.

Ezra, I beg of you, ok to remind us of the Trudeau tapes but please don’t replay them!

Bill Mordough acted like the feminist man he truly is. His comment reminded me of that idiot that attacked Sheila Gunn Reid at the AB Legislature. Same mentality, only one used his fists, and the other one used his words.

Thank you Ezra…..I have stated many times to the low information climate change clowns that Co2 is not a pollutant. I have also wondered out loud why no one in parliament or any where else, has not challenged the minister on this “Co2 is pollution” rhetoric.

I think Evan Soloman will be looking for a new job soon after that interview with Climate Barbie.
The facists will definitely be out in force at Wilfred Laurie. I think the dirty tricks will be played out in spades to force the debate to be shut down. I hope that those who wish the debate to take place, will station their own people at each fire alarm. There should be a camera at each location to record whatever takes place. And hopefully those responsible will be followed, so that they can be charged for their acts.

- This Liberal government is made up of crooks, activists & snowflakes. They don’t respond to criticism well. I doubt if many of them have ever been in a situation where they faced real criticism – much like Trudeau himself. I’m convinced that Climate Barbie has her job because Trudeau needs to have people around him that make him look less dense by comparison. So how long before Evan Solomon gets called a Nazi? Man made global cooling/warming/climate change alarmists can’t debate the topic. They only have a few positions left to retreat to & those positions don’t hold up to scrutiny so they try to censor instead (or run to their car & lock themselves in).

- Trudeau’s “peoplekind” comment made him look like a fool. His response (& that of Butts) made him look worse. The actions of his cabinet is making the whole party look idiotic. They start by smearing conservatives but then move further & further to the left with each gaff until they end up attacking moderate leftists. This is when they start destroying their own base, which is what they’re doing now. I’ve been saying that Trudeau is a figurehead from the start. He’s there for name recognition & his job is to look pretty, read speeches & run around with his shirt off whenever possible.

- The abortion debate is a guaranteed loser for the pro-abortion lobby in Canada, at least initially. This is why debate has been banned. Canada, China & North Korea are the only countries in the world that don’t have term limits on abortion. I doubt if most people know this & I’ll bet that many, if not most, pro-abortion people would agree to change this.

The Minister of AirMiles looked like she wanted to smack Evan Soloman….I watched the entire interview and she sounded like a brainless fool. She is extremely arrogant and doesn’t want to be challenged by anyone, scientists included! Her supreme leader endorses this tactic and practices it daily.

Great interview with Anthony Furey, I will check out his latest column – sounds interesting.

I hope the upcoming debate at Wilfred Laurier will be uploaded to YouTube. Barbara, I think you will be an excellent moderator. If this debate gets shutdown, it’s a terrible confirmation of how fascists are driving critical thinking off campuses.

So, is it possible to convey to the mindless environment minister that the climate is directly affected by, and a result of, the activity on that burning ball of fire 93 million miles away, has been for time eternity, hundreds of millions of years, and it doesn’t accept credit cards, cash, or even a government cheque to change it’s ways… People-kind has nothing to do with it, or does she deny the ice age, pre-industrialization. What does she say about the UN scientists who authored the report for the IPCC who had to threaten the UN with a lawsuit to get their names off the report when the IPCC changed their findings to make their executive summary suit their agenda? Storm activity is low compared over the last century, actually since record keeping began, but that doesn’t fit the scam either. No amount of money or tax will affect the climate one little bit. Off to China and India with her so she can protest there loudly, but we know the snowflake climate barbie wouldn’t dare.
