$280K to study the decline in oil & gas investment in Canada? I'll tell Trudeau for free

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

This Trudeau government is so stupid, it’s amazing the things they spend money on. Here's the latest:

"Feds to spend $280k to study why Canada’s oil and gas sector is falling behind”

(By the way, Monique Scotti wrote this story for Global News. And she just happens to be married to Adam Scotti, Justin Trudeau’s personal photographer...)

The Northern Gateway pipeline was approved by the National Energy Board — over $10 billion in private sector investment right there. Not a dime of government money needed. So many jobs. And so much tax money about to gush into the economy — as opposed to subsidized “climate change” projects.

But then Trudeau killed the deal.

Now the Liberals are looking to hire a "deliverology" expert for $280,000 to research "the competitiveness of the oil and gas industry in Canada."

"Prompted by a decline in oil prices that began in mid-2014, investment in Canada’s oil and gas industry has fallen by over 50% between 2014 and 2016. While investment has recovered from the low point, it is not expected to reach previous levels anytime soon.”

You can’t really keep blaming low oil prices from four years ago, can you? Tonight I'll explain why, using pre-existing charts and studies on oil and gas investment in Canada — that I got for pretty easily, for free.

But spending over a quarter of a million taxpayers' dollars is the Liberal way.

The investment isn’t coming back as long as they’re in power.

That’s your answer — and you didn’t even have to pay me 280,000 bucks to hear it.

NEXT: Edmonton Sun senior columnist Lorne Gunter joins me to talk more about this story.

THEN: This week we delivered a $15,000 cheque to a Canadian Forces charity, money you helped us raise.

And then... the charity gave the money back!

David Menzies joins me to discuss what happened. If you're as upset as we are about this, please sign our petition at CallOffYourDogs.com.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Paul Dixon, please keep us posted. I wish you well with this endeavour.

Trudeau has NO LOVE for our military, neither did his Commie father.

Perhaps food hampers can be directly delivered to our needy soldiers.

Sajan may of had a good reputation in the military, but he is nothing more than a Liberal Puppet of Trudeau’s that he uses to make political points. Sajan is not the same man he was at one time after spending all his time on his Knees before his Lord and Master, Mohammed Trudeau.

Tammie: Thank you for your comment and the link. I will paste and use it.
NDP Sucks: Thank you for your quotes. I am two hours north of Toronto, so am a little too far from Edmonton:)
This is going to be a lot of work, but being in retirement I am going to just chip away at it and see what I can come up with. I have added about 6-7 new ones from your and Tammie’s notes. Close to 30. I will check that link from Tammie as well. I am not on facebook, but should be able to access the info, maybe from OldStockCDN or Spencer Fernando.
Thanks folks:)

Shame on Canada company to refuse a donation to help others. It seems clear why Justin admires the dictators of China and Cuba. If only he had their power to silence those he doesn’t like …..like the Rebel Media. Controlling the media is central to silencing dissidence …….if you believe in democracy and free speech, the liberal clampdown on Rebel Media is very disconcerting regardless of whether you agree with Rebel media or not.

Naming the study group by Trudeau should be a snap for him. 280,000 bucks of yours and my loot, what the hell?
Himself, Tzeporah Berman, Gerald Butts, Climate Barbie, David Skuznuts Suzuki, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sophie, Dizzy Lizzy and Seamus O’regan. Toss in a dose of Rachel Notley and we will have a fabulous gender balanced committee. No brains, but gender balanced with all the where with all to obtain Social Licence.
Who the hell would be dumb enough to invest in Canada with these pr__ks at the helm?
If you vote Liberal you are the problem.

This money is likely going into Trudeau’s pocket. Liberals have just modified the brown paper bag scam. Anything this guy says is a lie!

Kendall Svengalis, well said. Climate zealots will never admit to the scam that has been perpetrated; we have more than our share in Canada.

Kengall Svengallis – Excellent comment!

Folks, read Kengall’s comment below and you’ll be essentially up to speed on the insanity of the leftard belief in anthropogenic ‘climate change’, as the foremer ‘global wamers’ now like to call their insidious scam.

Unfortunately for Canadians, Spudnik and Butts, McKenna and other leftist politicians like Notley, Wynne and Horgan have been completely taken in by this scam, and we are all paying for their stupidity.

Canada’s economy will continue to languish until we rid ourselves of these dupes of the AGW scam, at the ballot box next year. But be of good cheer: Scheer is now running 10 points ahead of Spudnik. We will prevail!

NDP Sucks, your suggestion for using headers is excellent.
commented 2018-04-06 13:51:56 -0400
Canada elected a true buffoon as its Prime Minister. Like Al Gore and so many Democrat politicians in the United, and most politicians in Europe, Trudeau has blindly bought into the global warming/“climate change” lie because it suits his fascist political agenda. I use fascist in the sense of government regulation rather than ownership of the means of production, which is the fascists modus operandi to gain control over the citizenry. It’s symtomatic of why fascists, communists, Progressives, socialists and all other forms of leftist scum have no business running anything, let along a country of 30 million people.

To think that this global warming scam is about a quarter of a degree warming from 1978-1998 that falls entirely within the range of geological experience as far back as both proxy and modern instrumentaiton reveal. Their case is built on a tissue of lies, particularly the claim that "97% of all scientists believe {fill in your chosen descriptors here]. The reality is that the only thing those 97% believe is that earth warmed some at the end of the 20th century and that man had SOMETHING to do with it. Left out are two critical ingredients: (1) how much is the change and how does it fall in the range of earth’s history?; and (2) how much of that is man really responsible for? The Cook survey out of Australia came up with the 97% figure, but an analysis by David Legates of the University of Delaware reveals than less than 1% of those 12,000 scientists surveyed believe that man is responsible for 50% or more of the recent warming. So, what is the evareg,. We cannot say for certain, but it is no doubt is less than 20%, which translates into about 0.05 degrees Celsius warming out of the 0.24 degrees C warming (according to satellite data). This is 5 one hundredths of a degree, or one-half the margin of error. This is mind-boggling that so many deluded politicians, activists, and people are hyperventilating over a minor blip in globally avareged temperatures that MIGHT be anthropogenic, and promoting policies and programs to limit the use of fossil fuels, and raise everybody’s energy costs.
This pretty boy the Canadians elected is a threat to his country, a threat to science, and a threat to the pocket books of every Canadian citizen.

Paul Dixon. Good luck on your quest. There is enough info out there to write a book. You may want to have headers on your list such as corruption, spending, energy, immigration, etc. Publishing quotes by Trudeau could be effective so here is a couple that may not have been on the gigantic list supplied by Tammie. If you live near Edmonton I would be willing to meet and assist you in this effort.

On 28 January 2017 Prime Minister Trudeau issued the following statement on Twitter. “To those fleeing persecution, terror and war, Canadians welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength. ”tweet-url hashtag" href=“https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Welcome” title=“#Welcome”>#Welcome to Canada.

On 16 October 2016 Prime Minister Trudeau made the following statement. “I will be personally responsible for harm that may come to any citizen of Canada. Any harm, from any refugee, brought into Canada by my government. I stand personally responsible.”

Paul, I forgot to wish you the very best in putting your list together. I posted the link to help you save time with this endeavour. Since the post went up on Facebook, there are many things to be added. Have a look at it and perhaps you can build on it. Also, it’s probably a good idea to compare what you have come up with to see if perhaps the author forgot to include something.

In my earlier post, I just gave a couple of examples of what we are all dealing with re: corrupt PM, corrupt government in the past few months.

We saw this liberal “ACT” with Trudeau senior during the 1970’s stifling business and the petroleum industry. .Justin has learned at the foot of the master and the willing dupes in Ontario voted, once again, for some pretty boy spouting some nebulous promises which were never fulfilled. And they doubled down by voting in the hideous Kathleen Wynne as well. Trudeau swept to power by saying he wanted to save the middle class. save us from what? A job, prosperity, the ability to afford a house. Thanks for the thought Justin but like your old man you are an economic failure. It’s snowing out right now. Go take a walk in the snow like your father did and retire!!!
commented 2018-04-06 10:38:28 -0400
Paul Dixon, see below. This post is from November 22, 2017 and you may want to research if there are other posts updating this very comprehensive list. We know Trudeau has since been found guilty of 4 Ethics Violations; tried to secretly meet with Joshua Boyle; government invited a Khalistani convicted terrorist to two State events in India and has created a diplomatic incident by blaming the Indian government; took a selfie with one of the terrorists Matthew Schrier has identified – government refusing to prosecute the terrorists involved in his captivity who hold Canadian passports; Jihadists not being charged and walking free in Canada; latest budget is a fiasco. The list is growing by the day.

“The following was prepared by one of our members here, Alanna. And she shares the credit with another friend of hers. As you will see, she put a lot of effort into summarizing all of Trudeau’s misdeeds and we thank her for allowing us to share this.”

I am just starting to compile a list of Trudeau’s blunders/blemishes/nonsense since coming into office. I have not done any media research yet with which to credibly reference it all – that will be a big job for later. I would love to be able to present this type of material, in list form, as I promote the Conservative cause next year during election campaign time. Maybe I can go door to door, or to people on the internet. I quickly came up with about 25 just off the top of my head!! I believe that it is the weight of all the instances and examples together that may wake people up. Most do not keep up on this well enough, and single instances are readily forgotten.

If you would like to help me with this, please send me your favourites. When the list is compiled I will make it available to anyone interested in having it. I will check back on this site each night after Ezra’s show to see if there are any additions. Or maybe there is another way to compile without giving out my e-mail address (I am a little hesitant to do that because of crazy things that some troll might do). I am also not the brightest light in the candelabra when it comes to computer technology. Maybe someone has a better way to do this.

Thanks folks. I hope that you can help. I have wanted to do this for a while and I think that it could be a very useful tool to combat that half-wit in Ottawa and make sure he does not win the next election and truly turn Canada into a totalitarian failed state with himself and Gerald Butts as “Big Brothers”.

Just as very day Western Canadian oil sits in the ground while those Saudi tankers churn up the Bay of Fundy to the CANAPORT terminal at the Irving Oil complex in St. John…. Is this the definition of madness or what??

Money For Nothing wrote:

Andrew Scheer should be crisscrossing Canada with that message. We are literally losing out on billions of dollars of oil sales to the world because Spudnik and Butts are petrophobic and want to devolve us to the 18th Century instead of grasping the immense economic opportunities of the 21st Century that are beckoning Canada.

Andrew Scheer: Don’t wait a year! Get your rear into gear and shorten Trudeau’s career!
commented 2018-04-06 01:22:02 -0400
Can you imagine if Spudnik and Gerry were running Saudi Arabia? They would shut down most oil production and enforce an ‘alternative economy’ consisting of selling goat milk instead of oil. I wonder how long the Destructive Duo would last in power there doing that and calling dissidents Nazis and shutting people out of taxpayer-funded programs for not ‘attesting’ to Dear Leader’s ‘progressive’ sociological philosophy?

In Canada, we have a segment of the population that is so naive as to tolerate such economic and political abuse. But not forever. Spudnik overplayed his hand when he demanded conformity to his personal philosophy or else. He will find out that Canadians are not all sheep that he can abuse any way he chooses.

An election is coming.

TRUDEAU OUT IN 2019!!!

Great show …
Trudeau joined the Washington anti-Keystone protest
Notley instructed her Washington people not to support Keystone
Is the fallout surprising?
Liberal supporters will have to switch allegiances or the middle class and their kids will be broke, taking the bus or hand hoeing the back 40.

The Calgary Stampede tarp auction was held recently … the highest bidder was a North Dakota oilfield service company.
Everyone’s capitalizing on rising world wide oil consumption – except Canadians.

To quote Jordan Peterson … ‘wake up’.

I mean it isn’t as if the recipient of the $280,000 of taxpayers’ money from the Liberal government is going to find that the fault lies with the Liberal government, eh? Maybe the NDP? See how things are in election year…
