You know all the destroyers like Trudeau, McKenna, Notley, Horgan, who haven’t ever built anything in their lives? Well, they have finally killed the goose — that is, the nation's oil pipelines — that laid the golden egg.
But the fact is:
These destroyers couldn’t exist without... your kids.
Because your kids grow up, and become voters.
Who support all these airheads who oppose pipelines.
Every teacher’s kit in Canada, whether officially coming from the leftist universities, or coming right in from environmentalist lobby groups into our schools, is anti-oil, anti-industry, anti-energy.
Go to any zoo, aquarium or museum of nature in this country — it’s a propaganda exercise. When I was a kid I used to love reading every little plaque explaining things: Facts, history. Now it’s politics — the politics of blaming and scolding and fear, instilling fear into kids that we are making things extinct by driving our cars.
I say this because I see in the news that the University of Alberta is going to award an honorary degree, a leadership award — to David Suzuki.
That’s who the U of A thinks reflects its values:
People like Suzuki, who hate Alberta, its industry and people.
Today I also saw a little story in the Edmonton Journal, about Samuel Kemble, who works in the oil patch in Edmonton.
His daughter had a speaking role in the school play, so he wanted to be there.
Here’s some of what he wrote on social media:
The school had Trickster Theatre (through a program funded by the Alberta provincial government) work with the kids to develop mini-play themes and content.
In the play the kids sabotaged a factory in the name of climate change and then went on to save Alberta from its “evil oil industry” and “greedy oil barons”.
Exactly what I want my daughter to be taught... to be an uninformed eco-terrorist.
TONIGHT I'll tell you what the school board's spin doctor had to say in response, and tell you about other ways your children's teachers (and therefore, your kids) are being indoctrinated by environmental extremists...
PS: If you’re in Alberta this weekend, come to our two pro-pipeline rallies:
Tomorrow, Saturday, in Edmonton, at the Legislature, from 1 to 3pm. And then Sunday, at city hall from 1 to 3pm. For more info, go to RepealTheCarbonTax.com
NEXT: Aaron Gunn of BC Proud joins me to explain that not all the people in his province agree with Premier Horgan when it comes to blocking pipelines.
THEN: Iranian activist Erica Kasraie is back with an update on the situation in that country.
FINALLY: Your messages to me!
