Meet Canada's most powerful anti-oil lobbyists: Your children's teachers

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

You know all the destroyers like Trudeau, McKenna, Notley, Horgan, who haven’t ever built anything in their lives? Well, they have finally killed the goose — that is, the nation's oil pipelines — that laid the golden egg.

But the fact is:

These destroyers couldn’t exist without... your kids.

Because your kids grow up, and become voters.

Who support all these airheads who oppose pipelines.

Every teacher’s kit in Canada, whether officially coming from the leftist universities, or coming right in from environmentalist lobby groups into our schools, is anti-oil, anti-industry, anti-energy.

Go to any zoo, aquarium or museum of nature in this country — it’s a propaganda exercise. When I was a kid I used to love reading every little plaque explaining things: Facts, history. Now it’s politics — the politics of blaming and scolding and fear, instilling fear into kids that we are making things extinct by driving our cars.

I say this because I see in the news that the University of Alberta is going to award an honorary degree, a leadership award — to David Suzuki.

That’s who the U of A thinks reflects its values:

People like Suzuki, who hate Alberta, its industry and people.

Today I also saw a little story in the Edmonton Journal, about Samuel Kemble, who works in the oil patch in Edmonton.

His daughter had a speaking role in the school play, so he wanted to be there.

Here’s some of what he wrote on social media:

The school had Trickster Theatre (through a program funded by the Alberta provincial government) work with the kids to develop mini-play themes and content.

In the play the kids sabotaged a factory in the name of climate change and then went on to save Alberta from its “evil oil industry” and “greedy oil barons”.

Exactly what I want my daughter to be taught... to be an uninformed eco-terrorist.

TONIGHT I'll tell you what the school board's spin doctor had to say in response, and tell you about other ways your children's teachers (and therefore, your kids) are being indoctrinated by environmental extremists...

PS: If you’re in Alberta this weekend, come to our two pro-pipeline rallies:

Tomorrow, Saturday, in Edmonton, at the Legislature, from 1 to 3pm. And then Sunday, at city hall from 1 to 3pm. For more info, go to RepealTheCarbonTax.com

NEXT: Aaron Gunn of BC Proud joins me to explain that not all the people in his province agree with Premier Horgan when it comes to blocking pipelines.

THEN: Iranian activist Erica Kasraie is back with an update on the situation in that country.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Message to parents:

They’re not your kids anymore!!
The government which we used to elect but now we are servants to has taken over all moral authority to teach and shape state children.
There is no little red book handed out but none the less they indoctrinate every day with leftist propaganda.
Home schooling or take over all the school boards filled with these leftist kooks.

That is why home schooling is on the increase in Canada and has been outlawed in many EU countries.

Responsible parenting can and will overcome the lefty lies of teachers.

You have to actually be a parent.

Remember this.

Old story from gopher hole Sask.
A half frozen man in the forest finds shelter in a cabin. He says to the stove give me heat and I,ll give you wood. He quietly froze to death. I heard this story when I was very young. I thought it was about credit or getting something for nothing. I realize now it must have been a Liberal or NDP who was lost in the forest.

One pipeline route I cannot in good conscience support is Endbridge’s Line Five where it crosses underwater at the Mackinaw Straights
Although still under investigation , the pipe is suspected to have been dented this week by a ship’s anchor which also damaged electric and communications cables.
At over 60 years old , its service life should be at an end and it is recommended that a tunnel be built to house the pipelines and cables.
Even a small leak would be a natural catastrophe to the Great Lakes .
I am totally for pipelines but Line Five needs to be properly housed in a tunnel irrespective of a low risk of leakage.

Back when fire and the wheel were still being invented, I remember the type of people who were in what was then called the CCF (Cooperative Commonwealth Federation), the precursor the today’s NDP (New Depression Party). They would consider today’s anti-oil politicians and protesters to be complete lunatics, which of course they are. I would love to see one of them confront these lunatics and explain that it’s about jobs and people, not saving the planet from some imaginary climate threat, the science of which is a complete and utter joke, having made numerous failed predictions over the last two decades. Back then, it was understood that if a scientific prediction failed, the theory was wrong, plain and simple. Today it means the theory is correct. Huh???

Greg Lund – I guess my old mind has gotten a bit polluted from the culture today, but I was momentarily and shockingly taken aback by your term M-F written to Jonathan Bryant. It wasn’t until I waded through a few more abbreviations that I realized M-F meant ‘Monday to Friday’. Hey, I wonder if you could, for the benefit of an older person not so up on the latest abbrevo-jargon, translate PDA and EDA for me? Many thanks….

Fortunately, many people who start out on the left get more conservative as they get older. I speak as one of those people. I was hard left in my teens and it wasn’t until I was in my late thirties that I began to see through the lies of the left, but finally it did happen. Probably others see the light sooner in life than I did. The point being that we shouldn’t worry too much about leftard teachers because life has a way of counteracting their influence.

Jonathan Bryant. I need to work M-F. My employer does not give leave for a demonstration, going to rallies or such. Now if you have time during the week to protest. Great, but how do you work that into a PDA, or, go to HR and schedule days off from your EDA. Not critical here just trying to figure the system so I can get behind the rally for The Rebel. Is there Provincial labour laws to support or deny these actions?

Along time ago,in a land far away, called Saskabush. There were poor poor farmer’s. Who were hard working tax paying people who sacrificed to give a life to their children. So the decision was made to sacrifice to send the the precious resource, to higher learning. The word’s we cannot afford this are quite common, because the MONEY goes to tuition, rent, books etc.Now these institutions are propagating against values that are funding their wage? So we are funding our own demise.

Speaking of rallies. There were anti-Trudeau rallies held all across Canada back on April 2nd at local city halls. Unfortunately the largest crowd was 24 people and we even had rallies in Alberta, Edmonton, Calgary, and Lethbridge. There is another set of these rallies scheduled for June 2nd. These are rolling rallies as they start at the same local time, so as one time zone winds down the next time zone starts up. Please stop by the website crosscanada.news and the CCN youtube channel to learn more and to also let the organizers know that you are interested in having a rally in your city. Because this a cross Canada event we will need local ogranizers at all sites. If you are interested in organizing a rally it is imperative that you contact CCN (Cross Canada News) so there can be cordnation and so CCN can let people know about your site. We need to make June 2nd a much better turn out all across the nation. Ezra, if you would be so inclined, could you help with exposure for this event. You can contact the host of Cross Canada News at the website, again thats crosscanada.news. I know The Rebel is considered small compared to the fat sows at the Liberal trough but compared to CCN you guys are giant and we could really use your help. To borrow your closing if I may, keep fighting for freedom.

I find it intriguing the teachers are trying to assert that the kids came up with that eco-fascism all by themselves. What it tells me is that they know full well what they’re doing is wrong, and likely illegal. They’re abusing their positions of trust to to brainwash other people’s children with a political ideology, rather than what they were hired for – teaching them the three r’s. It’s a Breach of Trust, and they damn well know it!!

Ditto for the union. They’re collecting dues and are supposed to be helping their member get jobs – not kill the jobs their members desperately need. If I was in that union I’d seek an injunction to stop them and sue their pants off!!

Ezra, did you know that Andrew Lawton has thrown his hat in the race for London West PC nomination.
Good luck to Andrew.

- Teaching used to be a noble profession. Now they indoctrinate kids instead of educating them. They feed them anti-oil propaganda, revised anti-Canadian / anti-West history, a sex-education curriculum designed by a convicted pedophile, whatever nonsense the far left happens to be pushing. Ask your kids to list all the current genders. Big government & teachers unions created this. Good teachers are silenced. The solution? Maybe a voucher system. Let parents take their kids out of the education system, along with the tax money that would have gone to their education, so they could put it into tuition for a private school. This would open up positions for good teachers as well. I’d expect the usual suspects to fight this like hell which would be a great indication that it would be the right way to go.

- Horgan is a bought & paid for political hack cut from the same cloth as Notley & Wynne. He’ll do whatever he has to in order to cling to power as long as he can & hope he can steal the next election. I’m hoping he’s late to this game & all 3 of these fools along king fool Trudeau are gone soon.

- The green revolution in Iran was the first indication of what the Obama regime would be all about. They decided not to back the freedom movement in Iran. By the end of Obama’s second term they gave billions to that repressive regime. In Iran we see real feminists putting their lives on the line. In the West we see phony feminists putting on silly hats. Iran is squandering its peoples’ wealth in order to spread terrorism – is it any wonder the Trudeau family has embraced them?

When I went to school back in the 70’s, my teachers were telling us that if the west didn’t stop burning Coal and derail western industrial society we would cause another Ice Age. Oh how we used to laugh at that nonsense. Sadly critical thinking went the way of “common sense”. They also used to breathlessly tell us how much better everything was in Communist China and Russia. I kid you not! After I went there to work in the early 90’s and seen what a pathetic, hilariously, laughable failure communism was. I wished I could drop those useful idiot “teachers” off in the middle of Siberia so they could live the reality of their misguided utopian dream…

I never tire of the rebel bashing Suzuki.
