After Infowars purge, list of next targets includes two former Rebels — which means us, too

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Alex Jones and Infowars. You can love them or hate them. They’ve published more than 10,000 videos. And YouTube just deleted them all. Jones and his company were also kicked off Facebook and other giant social media platforms, all on the same day.

Why all of Jones' videos? Not all of them were controversial, let alone possibly breaking some rule or law.

Because Alex Jones is sometimes rude or wrong? We all are sometimes.

Because he promotes conspiracy theories? You mean like... Hillary Clinton's lie about Benghazi?

We still haven't been told the exact reason.

Plus, when we prosecute someone in court, we are suing them for an action they did. It’s not the very human being himself we oppose. Even after a public trial, with charges and testimony and a sentence — we don’t just make someone disappear. But that's in effect what happened to Alex Jones.

Even Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, expressed these same concerns yesterday, as I'll show you tonight.

But the purge of conservatives isn't over. The left-liberal website Vox is pretty mainstream — it’s actually partly owned by NBC, which poured $200 million into it. Tens of millions more from venture capitalists. Here's what they wrote today:

"It's not just Alex Jones: YouTube's most extreme creators are pushing the platform into a tough debate and censorship and free speech on the internet."

And their handy list of people they think are “extreme” includes two Rebel alumni: Lauren Southern and Gavin McInnes, both of whom have moved on from us, but their Rebel work is listed as "extreme.

I can guarantee you that The Rebel Media itself is on a hit list, too — if our alumni and our friends are on one.

We’ll keep fighting. You know we will.

And if one day you simply stop seeing us — well, you know that it won’t be because we’ve decided not to fight.

It’s because, like Alex Jones, we’ve been de-personed...

NEXT: Manny Montenegrino, President of Think Sharp Inc., joins me to talk about Saudi Arabia picking a fight with Justin Trudeau and Canada.

THEN: Lorne Gunter, Senior Columnist at the Edmonton Sun, comes on to discuss the unsurprising fact that, since the government took over, the TransMountain pipeline is behind schedule and over budget.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Sonny Crockett the user agreement is a legal contract the are bound to it. If they ban one but not another they are in violation of it.

Sonny Crockett then so does everyone who said 9/11 was an inside job. But you are a hypocrite so you will not admit that.
commented 2018-08-09 02:20:51 -0400
I never trusted O’Toole. I tell ya, with a conservative party like this one ……..

Hey Sonny, the families are suing Alex Jones. He is fighting back, because what he actually said has been misrepresented . Why don’t you wait and see who wins that law suit and who loses, then come back and tell us whats what.

Sonny Crockett said, "Having standards is not the same as censorship. "
Yes Sony two million people seemed to like Alex Jones standards, but their standards aren’t the same as Sonny’s, so censor them.

Saudi’s finishing the fight Freeland started:
I watched some CBC News net for a change as CTV is all anti-Trump 24/7, just like CNN.
CBC had Erin O’tool on and he was sickening. He said that" the Conservatives are here to work with the Trudeau Government. " He went on like he and his fellow Conservatives were part of Trudeau’s Liberals. What an embarrassment, I can’t believe that he finished in the top 6 in the leadership race.

Then CBC had their regular Globe and Mail Journalist, John Ibbitson,,in a panel. John the weakling pointed out that the Trudeau Gov’t has told the US, China, India and now Saudi Arabia about Canada’s need for Gender Equality, Union Workers and anything else that the Liberals believe in. The Host asked John what he thought the cause was of these Countries getting so mad at Canada? Stupid Ibbotson actually said that it was Trumps fault, and didn’t elaborate. The Left has never been this crazy.

Wasn’t Ezra referring to flamboyant you tubers like Alex Jones being more ‘enthusiastic than careful’, as in, if that’s his worst crime, its still no reason to ‘disappear’ them. No one is always right and Alex is nothing if not ready to go out on a limb, it usually serves him well , but when it comes back to bite him it bites him hard. His crime is he never learns that lesson. But that’s Alex Jones, more enthusiastic than careful.

Lefties don’t have to be careful, they think they have the moral high ground (they don’t) so they’re not shy, just stupid.

“. . . more enthusiastic than careful”

Great phrase Ezra. And does it not describe every Lefty known to mankind?

Canada sure knows how to insult a world leader. There must be a prize for that.

Ron , very good point and not just any woman. One of the most annoying stupid and condescending woman in Canada! Freeland must really get under their skin.

Oh and why doesn’t Justin stand up for the Iranian people who are being oppressed by their Shia Ayatollah’s ? That one is easy. Follow the money. Wasn’t Morneau involved in some investment, uranium, Obama the Clinton’s, some big pile of steaming corruption to be sure. He’s not a hypocrite for no reason, he usually has good reason.

One explanation of the over-the-top Saudi reaction was that they were scolded by a woman!

Tammie I wish omnibus bills were illegal. Too much gets into the books without proper scrutiny under those umbrella bills, and it shouldn’t be allowed in my opinion.

Well thank you for clearing that up for us Sonny. Twitter said that Alex Jones hasn’t broken any rules, so have not banned him. I wonder what the rest of them have found so egregious that specifically go against their TOS’s. Could it be he, and some of his guests get just a little too close to the truth sometimes and have too large a following for the democrats to be comfortable with? Funny and odd, I’m sure its just a coinkidink that this is being rolled out just in time to ‘clean the streets’ before its full on election time. I’m sure its nothing at all.

Somebody should tell Justin then Keith, because he seems to think any ‘favors’ he does for the Saudi Prince is a ticket to make criticisms of the Saudi government. We are seeing how well that went. I don’t think the Saudis are the type to join in on any play act to get Justin re elected, but who knows. Either way they have no respect for Trudeau.

“You can’t grovel to a ruthless Islamist regime, and you can’t show weakness. To do so would only put Saudi Arabia in a position of dominance over Canada, and would only encourage other nations to threaten us.”

This is Spencer Fernando commenting on what some Liberal as well as Conservatives are suggesting Justin do.
Its an article worth reading. I completely agree with Spencer’s take on what the next step for Canada would be, IF we had a PM with some integrity and backbone.

(thanks Robert for posting the link)

I know Ezra has said Spencer Fernando is busy with his own work to be a regular, but would he come on to share his critique on a thing or two now and then?

I agree that Justin is weak. The world knows he is weak and the Saudis are using him to make a statement. I think that is what Trump did as well with the trade dispute. Justin, unfortunately for Canada, is an easy target. Its not a good look on the world stage, not a good look at all.

Both Manny and Lorne are terrific, always. It is so true that they both say what should be said and is rarely said anywhere else.

Trudeau/Saudi tiff ? Most likely a false flag arrangement, both sides arguing back and fourth right up to the next election, upon which Trudeau will jump up and growl at the Saudi who will then back down and Trudeau will be re elected as a hero. The Saudi regime owns Trudeau and they want to keep him in power until Canada becomes Islamic, at least.

Far be it from me to defend Trudeau, but he was right to tweet what he did. KSA is a cruel dictatorship and deserves our ill will.

You are right about it being a cruel dictatorship. So is China but The Traotor Tot says he has a basic admiration for it. The Trudeau’s have always had an admiration for dictatorships. Don’t let Fidel’s son fool you.

(Nacht und Nebel), German term used in a secret order issued by Adolf HITLER on December 7, 1941. The order stated that any underground resistance activities against the Reich carried out in Western Europe would be punished in the most severe ways. The term “Night and Fog” referred to those underground activists from Western Europe who, as a result of this order, were to disappear into the “fog of the night” without leaving a trace.
The order was issued as a result of the situation in Nazi-occupied northern France, where resistance activities were on the rise after the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941. Hitler and Wilhelm Keitel, the Wehrmacht chief of staff who signed the order, wanted to discourage resistance activities, so they made them severely punishable. The order applied to underground activists in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Belgium, Denmark, and Norway.
According to the order, special military courts could impose the death sentence without a unanimous decision. If not sentenced to death, the defendants were to be deported to Germany, where they would disappear without a trace into concentration camps or prisons.

If feelings and free speeh come in conflict – free speech wins!

Well it’s supposed to, but even truthful free speech loses to feelings in this country, as our Supreme Court decided in the Wattcot case that turth is not a defense.

In light of the obvious purge that is headed your way, might it not be a good idea to establish a ‘Rebel Presence’ on another social media outlet? The one that I am familiar with, and that seems to be growing in acceptance is MeWe. Although they are not nearly the size of FaceBook, they at least would give you an outlet. Couple that with other opportunities and you would at least not go black. And MeWe claims that they will not sell your information, control your content or delete you if they disagree.
