“This is Trudeau at his worst”: New national holiday designed to shame Canadians as racists

Rebel Staff

The Liberals are inventing a holiday that will unite and uplift our country, inspire our people, rejuvenate them, be something we can all look forward to:

Federal government to declare new statutory holiday to mark painful residential-school legacy

"The overall picture is that it is important to have that day set aside so Canadians continually get it and will never ever forget the impact of genocide in the residential schools on Indigenous peoples,” Perry Bellegarde, the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN), said in a recent telephone interview.

You will never stop being shamed and blamed. You have to submit. It is an explicitly political holiday, designed to attack people — to force people to “get it.”

Remember the Truth and Reconciliation Commission? Contrary to its name, it was a scapegoating lobby group that says these schools were a system of genocide.

Genocide — that’s a word we use in relation to Adolf Hitler; maybe Stalin’s Holodomor in Ukraine, and the Turks murdering more than a million Armenians.

Genocide means murdering an entire race — did we do that?

I am sympathetic to an Aboriginal day of some sort. But I’m not thrilled with the billions of dollars that a new stat holiday will cost; perhaps we can simply rename “Civic Holiday” as "Aboriginal Day" or something, and make Aboriginal culture, history and opportunity the focus instead.

But that wouldn't feed anger and demands for more cash.

If someone is a new Canadian, who immigrated here in the past twenty years — why do they need to be blamed and shamed for something that happened a century ago?

Or an Aboriginal person, who was born after residential schools were abolished — why does he need to be cast as a victim?

This is Trudeau at his worst:

Hating Canada, undermining Canada, apologizing for Canada...

NEXT: Toronto Sun reporter Sue-Ann Levy comes on with an update on the attack on a Sun photographer during a Toronto "anti-hate" rally.

THEN: On that topic, author and podcaster Andrew Klavan joins me to talk about America's increasingly violent Left.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Huh!!! Genocide??? Teaching illiterate Indians to read and write is not genocide.

Andrew Mirlach, that seems to be something many have not realized about the libs. That’s also the reason they think they are the ‘natural governing party’ for canaduh.
I also notice that many people are speaking out about the groper sock boy lately but were not speaking out about him before the election. It seems the east maybe are realizing their stupidity when they fell for the name & the pot promise. What amazes me is how so many people can be hoodwinked so easily by the media lies they were telling prior to the election.

The “liberals” have been in power more than any other party over the nation’s history. Why have they done nothing but virtue signal?

Does anyone notice the sleight of hand shift of priorities by liberals, using that dedication of that park in Winnipeg to that Pakistani murderer? The Indians are being used here until more and more of our country is dedicated to Islam. I hope they see through it!

If Max became Conservative leader he could go with the Trump strategy with the First Nations. Vote for me, what do you have to lose? What would Bernier have to lose?

Canadians have worked together. I would like to share this story from my grandfather. If you fell in the well and could not get out would you care if the person who threw you the rope was a (fill in any race).

Allan, more money isn’t what is needed in this case. More money is not the problem on reserves, the band leadership is the problem. When you insist on building your town on the flood plain your ancestors had the good sense to leave until high summer, you may have to redo your sewer and water systems every year. However if you build rinks and buy a new Zamboni instead, well you get my drift. Not to mention the coerced elections and multiple family members on the leadership payroll, and the lack of accountability.

NO, Allen not one more penny as far as I am concerned. I want the Indian Act demolished, any government responsibilities tidied up. Maybe a final payout and be done with it. There will be no peace until we are all treated the same and given the same opportunities. The Chief’s will holler the loudest they like the gravy train just fine. Many of the band members, not so much.

In the late 70’s I was living in Northern Manitoba, and some of us decided to go for a ride to pass the time. It had been a long winter, so we were getting spring fever and needed to get out. We ended up on a northern reserve, that had a small store which was also a convenience store. We walked in the store and everyone in there was Indian, which was no surprise, but it got really uncomfortable when everyone stopped talking, and just glared at us until we left. Needless to say we bought our things and got the heck out of there. The liberals have been grooming the Indians and turning them against the white man for decades now. I can just imagine how this Shaming day is going to up the hatred level for the radical Indians who actually control the reserves.

JUSTIN HARBORD
kudos.
Perspective was never one of Justin’s strong points. Perspective is the enemy of identity politics, and its why the post modernists world starts today and to hell with history. How else are they going to get away with their post truth codswallop!

- How has Trudeau’s promise to get clean drinking water on the reserves gone after almost 3 years?

Same answer as the veteran in Edmonton got: “You’re asking more than we can give”.

But we got 650 mil to give to other nations to abort their babies.

Perry Bellegarde, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations said, a “day set aside so Canadians continually get it and will never forget the impact of genocide in the residential schools on Indigenous peoples.”

Genocide? I don’t think so, and since we can’t even agree on the words you use to describe what happened there, there isn’t much chance I would be feeling responsible for it, even if I had anything to do with it, and I didn’t. I won’t accept collective guilt. Not going to happen.

Conversely, a day to celebrate Aboriginal excellence, culturally and economically, and I would be all in. Get Justin to rethink that one if you want Canadians to get behind it. Until then it will be a day I ignore.

Have Canadians got so little understanding of our country’s history that they could possibly buy into this absolutely disgraceful distortion of what our very Father Of Confederation intended as a compassionate and practical solution to the serious challenge of assimilating the native Indian population in the form of residential schools? However flawed in its implementation, if indeed “its the thought that counts”, Macdonald needs to be celebrated for his wisdom and common sense in recognizing what our dimwitted, juvenile, disingenous, cynical, patronizing, disgraceful, phoney sissy PM will never grasp nor remotely have the courage to do anything about if he did: that ghettos beget ghettos, that assimilation rather than diversity makes a country and that permitting and even encouraging as he and others in Europe have anything less is a recipe for social disaster and even civil war as the Europeans are about to discover.

Lord Byron knew this when he recommended to the King of his dày that Upper and Lower Canada be amalgamated as a key
precondition to granting proportional representation. Quebecers at the time were literally starving in vast numbers just as Macdonald’s indians were due to lack of education, few skills, backward customs and little to no ability to communicate and trade what little they produced with the wider world around them. Unfortunately for these early Quebecers and Canada as a whole, the King granted prortional representation without amalgamation, the price of which was decade after decade of an unassimilated, impoverished and underperforming Quebec which persisted until only very recently and almost brought down our nation recently via separation. Its still a have-not province to this day.

Dido the Indians of the day. Despite ( indeed because of) years and years of massive grants of money and other favours and phoney pandering by just plain dullards like Trudeau and his crowd, these poor folks are not much further ahead for it all, are largely hopeless, pathetic wards of the state and are being encouraged now by this disgraceful PM and these childish, irresponsible progressives everywhere to make that sad condition permanent. Where oh where are the grownups, the MacDonalds and the Lord Byrons when we really need them.

1/ Doing identity politics means trying to drum up support by appealing to specific groups on the basis of their ethnicity, religion, language, sexuality or other characteristics, instead of speaking to them as Canadians interested in the wellbeing of our country as a whole.

Allan Peterson commented – “I have a certain amount of support for this but I know it will be a day of enforced wearing of a hair shirt for things done in the past that I had no part in. We all recognize the our natives got a royal screwing. But history cannot be undone. This will do nothing to right any wrongs or help those who survive in any way. …”

The Sheeple can go right ahead and wear that hair shirt of forced Liberal shame if they want to, I for one will not pay any heed to their BS for in the past the Liberals have claimed that “children should not be held accountable for their parents’ crimes” that is why a child caught in the middle of a drug bust for example with their parents are not charged but rather are treated as victims of parental abuse. But that is EXACTLY what the Liberals are now demanding – that all Canadians MUST pay for the crimes of their forefathers. THE LIBERALS CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS, either all are guilty of their parents’ crimes or none are.

Trudeau is doing to the Indians what Obama did to the Black community. Both Marxist clowns are using the divide and conquer strategy. And both are traitors to their countries and should be tried as such. Though given our legal system, we will likely have to wait until Judgement day. The way things are going, I don’t think that we will have to wait too long.

- How has Trudeau’s promise to get clean drinking water on the reserves gone after almost 3 years? Maybe we can call it “Liberal Broken Promises Day” or maybe “Virtue Signaling Day”. The thinking is that the Liberals will please the rubes with a day off while it gives them the opportunity to scream “racism” at anyone that opposes it. Cue the crying Prime Minister. Maybe make it a week long holiday & call it “Hate Week” to better reflect Liberal ideology.

- The left project their failings onto their enemies. Whatever they’re accusing other of is what they’re already doing. The police brass are now helping to turn Toronto into the hell that London has become. Expect a lot more of this to come & it won’t remain confined to conservatives.

- The left has started eating itself. When the right gets fed up with the constant double standard & the race card doesn’t work anymore the left is forced to find slower dumber prey & that is their fellow leftists. You now have all White or mostly all White Antifa thugs attacking mixed race audiences & calling them White supremacists. Trump’s popularity among Black voters has more than doubled since 2016. I wonder how that happened. Trump is pretty bad at this racism thing but the Democrats have had a lot of practice at it.

Justin only wants to keep Indians economically hobbled and on the reserves so he can pander for votes. He is taking lessons from the masters. He doesn’t care about Aboriginals in Canada, he only uses them, and rents them out to foreign globalists/environazis to use them also. He works at ‘keeping them down’, same as the democrats work at keeping the blacks down in America. Keep em on reserves, keep em in the ghetto…..and blame it all on the white man. He makes a token gesture, like this new blame holiday to garner a few more votes. It is whorish behaviour unbecoming to our Prime Minister, or any representative of the people. It is disrespect, and not respectful at all, to anyone.

First Nations are royally ticked off with Justin these days. That vote helped push him into power last time. Justin is hoping more butt kissing and promises of more free stuff will help him again. If you look up ‘’duplicitous’ in the dictionary you will see Justin’s sneering face. Never forget, that beach ‘speaks with forked tongue.’

If diversity is our strength isn’t the supposed ingrained colonialism of the whites worth celebrating as well? I guess some diversity builds more strength than others but the left will never admit it since it would play hob with their refusal to exercise discernment.

Scripture tells us, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. Until we recognize this reality we will continue to exchange one set of evils for another.

A day of national repentance would serve us better. Fat chance.

It was the Truth and Reconciliation Commission that found the Residential Schools amounted to “cultural genocide”. In so finding the Commission belittled actual genocide and exaggerated the nature of what actually happened in the schools. It is an oxymoron and lefty hyperbole designed to inflame emotions rather than establish truth or promote reconciliation.

Sorry turdo I am not a perfect white man like you. So let me get this strait er ah umm

Being of mixed race I am supposed to, celebrate half the day and shame myself for the other half. I never lived on the rez or went to a residential school. I have never had the tax free status nope. My family just worked hard no free hotels, no free entry to other countries. No hand outs at all. We had a garden but I guess that is un Canadian.
I have often wondered how DNA test would turn out for you, oh great pure white one.
Many more like me than you think.

Largest book the Trudeau liebral book of broken promises…. to be finished in 2019.
