SPECIAL! Andrew Klavan: From Left to Right, From Jew to Christian

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Between Christmas and New Year's, we're reviving a tradition we began last year: Bringing you in-depth conversations with some of The Rebel's most popular, fascinating and knowledgeable guests.

Tonight: Andrew Klavan is "a Hollywood guy" — an American novelist, screenwriter, columnist and podcaster.

He talks about how he was "dragged into the movie business" — and what happened after he felt "called upon" to express his opinions after 9/11:

"My phone stopped ringing."

We switch gears from show biz to religion:

Andrew discusses his Jewish upbringing, the dramatic action he took after his Bar Mitzvah, and his later conversion to Christianity (chronicled in his book The Great Good Thing.)

Andrew winds up with his surprising prediction that "a religious revolution from the top down" is on its way — and reveals what he said on his podcast that startled guest Dr. Jordan Peterson.

- I used to watch Andrew Klavan on PJTV. Seen many of his videos on the Daily Wire. Great guest. I recently got his book “The Great Good Thing”.

I like Andrew Klavan’s healthy and wholesome outlook, even offering some morsels of hope! It is refreshing. I gladly give him two thumbs up.

I hope increasing numbers of people awaken to the grave mistake of relativism and multiculturalism, and other destructive elements which have emerged in today’s world.

Ezra, I hope you get to have a follow-up interview with him at some point in time. Thank you for this one.

I really like it when smart, insightful people bring hope and light too…and make you think.

Great in depth series.

I give very high marks to Ezra for this interview. It is not often that a non-Christian (Ezra) gives such high recommendations and interview time, with such an amicable attitude, to someone like Andrew who obviously takes his Christian faith so seriously and unashamedly.

Kudos to you, Ezra. Thank you. I hope that Andrew’s predictions about this Christian revival come to pass – what a blessing that would be to the world! If anyone goes to Stephen Meyer’s material at Discovery Institute in regard to Intelligent Design vs Evolution, there also seems to be an awakening going on in scientific circles as Darwinism continues to lose credibility while ID gains acceptability.

I have also really enjoyed Ben’s interview with Amanda Head. Bright people in difficult places – may God bless their forthrightness and faith.

Andrew Klaven is a good man with real insight. Thank you Ezra for bringing this very interesting interview to all of us – even the unbelievers and trolls among us, maybe if they reflect on the things that were said and discussed it might open their minds and hearts.
Merry Christmas and a Happy joy filled New Year to everyone.

Very good interview Ezra. I’ll have to keep up Klaven.
Daniel Froimovitch; That may of been his father you’re thinking about and also I believe Mel is a pre-Vatican 2 catholic which may bring about that idea. Not sure.

When after a good interview all you can do is think and talk about the discussion and want to hear more, that’s a darn good interview.
Happy New Year to Ezra and Andrew.

Fascinating p interview Ezra! Hated to have it come to an end.
Interesting quote by Klavan, “Faith is accepting things that make logical sense, but you cant prove…Not a blind following after anything.”
