Gerald Butts is half right: There IS “a lesson to take from” #peoplekind coverage — but not the one he thinks

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

I think we were the first media company to show you that nutty clip of Justin Trudeau interrupting a young woman at a town hall meeting, and embarrassing her by correcting her use of the word “mankind”.

Canada’s mainstream media ignored it, even though they were all right there when he said it, because it’s embarrassing.

It took the mainstream media in other countries to make the story go supernova. As Paul Joseph Watson put in his viral video, "Canada is a meme" (and not for a good reason):

But the "peoplekind" meme was losing steam by the time Trudeau arrived in Chicago, to meet with Team Obama in advance of the NAFTA talks.

Gerald Butts, Trudeau's right hand man, was in Chicago, too. The "peoplekind" came up.

And Butts just couldn’t control himself. At 4am, he tweeted:

The lesson to take from this joke being torqued by Infowars and other alt-right nazi friends of the Rebel is they're paying attention. Game on, #TeamTrudeau.

So it’s the Nazis that are out to get Trudeau?

Nazis like... the BBC? The Washington Post. The Guardian?

The “lesson” is that we’re paying attention to Trudeau?

Of course we are. It’s not "odd" that The Rebel, a Canadian media outlet, is paying attention to the country's Prime Minister...

No, what we really "learned" from Butt's tweet is actually the reverse — that Trudeau’s office, and Butts in particular, is paying attention to little old us, and other online critics.

The second thing is the Nazi quip.

I’m obviously not a Nazi — in fact, I’m Jewish.

And it’s gross that a senior government official would throw around the word "Nazi" so casually. It trivializes what Nazis were, what the Holocaust was. (Speaking of which: This is the same Liberal government that "forgot" to mention Jews in the new Ottawa Holocaust memorial...)

Again: The real “lesson” here is that name-calling is all Team Trudeau has — racist, sexist, Islamophobe, Nazi.

But that’s not really working is it?

Looking ridiculous is the worst thing in politics.

That’s why Gerald Butts is in a rage:

The "peoplekind" gaffe was about individuals no longer being afraid of being scolded, word-policed, shamed and silenced.

NEXT: The creator of that scathing video, Paul Joseph Watson, is my guest, to talk about how Trudeau's image has been impacted by "peoplekind."

THEN: Christine Van Geyn, Ontario Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, comes on to discuss the Ontario PC Party's problematic "People's Guarantee" platform, and leadership hopeful Caroline Mulroney's statement about opposing the carbon tax — a position she shares with opponent Doug Ford.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Just substitute the word “British” …. to liberals…or globa’ist…We have to show them that we are not on board with this type of force…

Great to see that Butts and Trudeau read the Rebel.
About the only honest media left. All the others either lie, distort the truth or simply don’t report the news.

Problem with Butt’s broad brush dismissal is that Trudeau’s gaffe was mocked worldwide, by those on the left and those on the right of the political spectrum. Gerald Butts as a ‘progressive’ knows something about Nazis as they are his socialist cousins. A Nazi was a member of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.

Mr Butts should not be tweeting stupid comments, rather he should be quiet and let everyone still wonder if he is a fool.

I wonder, when was the last time Trudeau went to Church and I am not referring to his visits to Migrant Club Houses. Dose he ever go to church and actually pray? I know he likes to Prey on the Canadian public but dose he ever Pray to God? If so, I wonder how he would define ‘God’? Idolkind perhaps or Personallmighty. Who knows, ‘It’ probably never goes to church anyway.

So very childish this name calling and really appalling coming from the PMs Advisor. No class or integrity or professionalism whatsoever! Isn’t calling someone a Nazi a Hate Speech crime in Canada? I think this is speech that is intended to Humiliate. Isn’t that the Liberals definition of Hate Speech?
Paul Joseph Watson is great! Thanks Mr. Watson and thanks Ezra!

Like the great brilliant award winning writer Mark Steyn says ( of course he’s censored to by the MSM to ) when everyone’s a Nazi no ones a Nazi.
Call the bluff of the MSM liers.

Peoplekind is not the joke, that honor belongs to Justin Trudeau.

Quiet hypocritical, this imbecilic “people-kind” statement coming precisely when it did. The audience member had just finished talking about “Maternal Love” which in itself is sexist. If Trudeau is going to be pedantic about words, then why didn’t he call that out? Never mind – it didn’t fit the narrative…

What about Paternal Love? There’s growing evidence that, for example, single dads have better developmental outcomes in their children than single moms. So if you want to “Change the future” (and I presume she meant for the better not worse) then wouldn’t you be advocating for Paternal Love?

Oh man…Opps,…I mean…Oh boy…..darn! What I meant to say was…Oh person, i can hardly wait for the spin our resident trolls will put the person child’s idiotic statements.
So…what say you trolls?

I can’t really blame Justin Trudeau for contracting out the job of Prime Minister to somebody else, because it’s painfully obvious that the job is waaaaaay over his head. But I can’t help feeling terribly disappointed that he decided to hire somebody who is almost as stupid as he is.

To mock Justin (daddy’s boy) Trudeau, lets start calling any word with “man” in it by saying “people” in place of it. Our lecturing PM thinks we need educating so let’s educate him and all the low information voters. I think we all can peopleage to do that little bit, even if we’re driving down the Peoplening Freeway while listening to the music of peoplefred Peoplenn. :-)

A joke under this circumstance is more reprehensible than not making one. How rude if he’s actually made a joke right in the middle of the young woman’s comment. It wasn’t a joke. It was Trudeau at his social justice warrior best. Here are some comments from Twitter:

Hey @JustinTrudeau are you cool with your Principle Secretary implying other citizens are Nazis?know @ezralevant and @TheRebelTV must be scary to you because they’re independent media. Take some time off shopping for socks and lemme know!

Eliana @Cdn_Eliana,
But PLEASE Butts, you and Trudeau keep opening your mouths, and exposing yourselves as the hate filled wannabe dictators you truly are. You’re running the best campaign for the Conservative party that I’ve ever seen!

Canadian Lioness @TruthLion100,
Mr Butts, I was a lifelong liberal but you lost me , I voted cons in 2015, I don’t consider myself alt right at all, you’re insulting as “basket of deplorables” comment, you’re losing votes w your disgusting comparisons just because people disagree w you. You sound desperate.

a) I’m not a Nazi.
b) It wasn’t a joke.
c) If you’re one of @JustinTrudeau’s chief advisors, no wonder he’s making so many gaffes.

No, Ezra. Trudeau didn’t embarrass that women. If you follow the narrative in the video through, beyond Trudeau’s statement, (as I’m sure you did) you know that this woman was in full agreement with him. and is just as much of a leftist loonie as he is. Her question to him proved what an intolerant leftist ideologue she is as well. So you actually know Trudeau wasn’t accusing her of being a misogynist. He was actually, in a back-handed sort of way, sucking up to her. He was trying prove to her that they were kindred spirits.

Ezra, take a nasal spray or something buddy. Your vids are becoming difficult to watch. Fortunately you always deliver the goods. Keep up the great work.
