Trudeau withholds job funding from pro-life groups — unless they lie about their beliefs. That's illegal.

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Last month, we told you the news that no mainstream media had covered:

That the Liberal government was now forcing any Canadian company that wanted to participate in the government’s summer jobs program to swear a moral statement, saying they believed in the Liberal Party’s interpretation of social and religious values.

In other words:

Do you agree with Trudeau on moral questions?

That’s illegal, by the way. It's discrimination based on religion, according to the first right listed in our Charter. The government can’t make you say anything you don’t want to say.

But tonight I'll read you what the Canadian government website says now, regarding "Funding: Canada Summer Jobs – Eligibility,” including:

"To be eligible, the core mandate of the organization must respect individual human rights in Canada, including the values underlying the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Charter) as well as other rights. These include reproductive rights..."

In the first place, the words "reproductive rights" aren’t in the Charter.

Furthermore, no-one has to “respect” any ideology; we just have to obey the law. And the Charter is a law that applies only to the government, not to citizens.

But of course, “reproductive rights” is a euphemism — abortion is the opposite of reproduction. That's what they’re trying to say here: every organization and person in the country has to say they "respect" abortions.

Imagine if Harper had required every Canadian to pledge support for criminal justice reform. Or if Trump demanded every American pledge support for the Second Amendment.

It’s unthinkable to compel someone to stand up and say such a thing.

Unthinkable, except in our increasingly unfree country...

NEXT: Our friend, lawyer John Carpay from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, comes on to talk about the Centre's latest case:

That of a Chilliwack school trustee being taken to a human rights commission by CUPE, for criticizing BC's "Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity" curriculum.

THEN: After the Trump administration partially reduced funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the Middle East Forum said it would donate $1 million to the controversial agency — but on one condition.

Dr. Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum joins me to explain:

This donation, you see, requires UNRWA to end the automatic registering in perpetuity of new "Palestinian" "refugees."

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

Your post concerning adoption and following Iceland’s lead on aborting the disabled confirms your lack of basic humanity…perhaps you were born without a conscience!

So true, Muta. Perhaps in honour of that great progressive man we should have post natal abortions for those who are that stupid. Think of the services that could go to more worthy people. Think of the money we could save. After all the love of money is the root of all goodness.

And if I paid for my own abortion, I somehow doubt that some of you will stop objecting.

In this case, the government is trying to promote and preserve women’s rights.

Adoption is not a good sub for abortion. Adopted kids cost the system money through all those child protection services. And then they grow up wanting to know who their real parents are. Adopted kids tend to have behavioral problems. When their foster parents try to discipline them, those little shits say that they do not have to listen, as the foster parents are not their real parents.

Lastly, I should add that I think it is great that some countries like Iceland are encouraging aborting disabled fetuses. Smart move on every level. Canada needs to catch up on this one.

Spoken like a true CBC brainwashed Canadian. Good show, Space Moose.

This is one of the most idiotic statements I’ve read in long time.

You live in Winnipeg, I believe. Maybe you’d like to meet my two daughters who were adopted out of the abortion option and see how much trouble they are.

Are You not aware of the fact that the White Race is in decline. Mothers put careers before kids. Also as soon as the idiot Trudeau has enough of his Muslim Brothers imported into Canada, the white race will start to decline, rapidly, with the help of cold steel.

A vote for Trudeau is a vote for your own demise.

Jan G:
1) “I’m not sure what you mean by “I’m an Agnostic pro-lifer. I believe in reproductive rights (as defined by the Liberals)…”. The Liberals are pro-abortion and define abortion as reproductive rights.
Abortion facilities are simply that, selling and performing abortions. They do not get involved with other health issues (as is so mistakenly thought) because their goal is to attain quotas. It is a multi-billion $$ industry and babies and women are being destroyed to make them rich.”

As someone who has known doctors and nurses who have worked at such Canadian clinics, there is no “quota”. There is however an enframing of an all-or-nothing, this is the right decision or the most responsible decision you can make right now when it comes to abortion. It is as if choosing the adoption option (Aside to SPACE MOOSE : Are you kidding me with that shit? Where are the stats to back up all the blanket statements bud?) or maybe doing the most unselfish thing anyone ever does, becoming a good parent, is a bad decision to be met with derision.

2) “The RU486 can be reversed. If a woman/girl has taken the first (usually of 2-3 pills) and changes her mind, there is a treatment/pill that can stop the abortion. Here’s a story about one of the first cases. There are also pictures below this story showing a 12 week old baby and 22 week old twins, miscarried. Clearly demonstrates these are human beings if ever anyone questions it. ”https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/the-day-i-performed-the-first-ever-ru-486-abortion-reversal">https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/the-day-i-performed-the-first-ever-ru-486-abortion-reversal"

The pill of which you speak suppresses a hormone, progesterone, which creates the uterine lining in which the embryo (a real zhee or zher right now) implants in order to begin to grow. Women shed their uterine lining every month, that’s what menstruation is. Sometimes there are embryos attached and she had no idea because a lack of progesterone fails to maintain the uterine lining and it sheds anyways. And it’s only done up to the 9th week. My concern is people getting a hold of it and using it later on in the actual pregnancy and causing full term abortion.

3) "Adoption: Yes. Many young women need help, financial and emotional support. They often need a place to go to. The Catholic Church used to have hospitals and homes for unwed Mothers, but due to lack of funds, these wonderful provisions were closed.
Perhaps if the amount of $$ given to Planned Parenthood (which is in Canada) went toward helping women, more babies would be saved. As well as the long term psychological and physical affect the abortion will have on the Mother.
Is it simply too much to ask for the whole notion of ‘family’ to be embraced and adopted again? "

Completely agree.

The only way the conservative party will remove Scheer is to starve them of any contributions, though I suspect Scheer is taking money from those who wish to destroy Canada! The same goes for Patrick Brown, Wynnie and Notley.
Trudeau is mistaken in thinking that he can control what others, think and feel. It sickens me just looking at his face. What a corrupt globalist puppet! The arrogance of this pompous snake is incredible, and the same goes for his cabinet minions. What a bunch of nobodies, and giving them power will be the down fall of Canada. I’m glad that I never sold my country out for this cheap suit!

Ron Voss Voss. Where did I tell you to shut up? Where did I apologize for Scheer? If you can’t support Scheer then what is the alternative? So you have done nothing but state your opinion on social media sites and bash your keyboard? Are you getting the results you wanted? Why do you think I don’t like you expressing your view? Because we disagree?

Knowing my real name important to you? Why? What good would it do to know my name? You sound like the butt hurt libtards I like to oppose.

If you are waiting for a political saviour you could be wasting your time. In my opinion Scheer is the best choice for now. Who else could possibly pull off a Trump and win the next election?

I am not and I have every right to say so and not be silenced (basically told to shut up so as not to cause ‘division’) by some guy hiding behind a pseudonym bashing on his keyboard!

Ron Voss Voss. Check item 2 on the list of 19 things Scheer is planning to do.

If the CPC rejected the paris climate accord vote then they have to be prepared to fight the global warming community and their science. That is a tall order and very time consuming. They would have lost the vote anyway and cannot be attacked for supporting it other than from within such as yourself.

If the CPC is making efforts to get rid of Trost then I would probably change my mind again so you can throw that in my face and call me a flip flopper to make yourself feel better. If the CPC could get elected by getting rid of Trost then I would accept that and try to affect change through my conservative MP.

You didn’t answer my question. As you have very high principles then back it up by answering one simple question. What have YOU done other than bash away at your keyboard? Were your efforts rewarded and your expectations met?

If Patsy Brown wants to win, he needs to motivate the Conservative base. His #MeToo strategy is giving his base no reason to go out and vote. The best case scenario is a Wynne minority government with the Tories getting another crack at her in a couple of years with a leader who is actually a conservative.
commented 2018-01-23 10:13:25 -0500
NDP SUCKS commented, “I am slowly warming up to Andrew Scheer after he left me cold when he forced his caucus to vote in favour of the paris climate accord aka wealth redistribution scheme. The liberals would have passed the vote anyway so if the conservatives opposed then they would have to battle the global warming community about the scientific theories and supposed facts. They did not want to fight that continuous battle when they would still lose the vote.”
So the Conservative Party is led by a pragmatist, a la Patrick Brown, and a coward! By, the way, the Liberals point to the Paris Climate Accord (as does CPC MP CINO Michael Chong) as the reason they must impose a carbon tax, and the Conservative Opposition says……………… As I like to say, the truth should not be a liability. Do you know that the CPC is trying to get rid of Brad Trost by challenging his nomination for reelection because he is too “polarizing”.
commented 2018-01-23 10:08:21 -0500
Ron Voss. Searching for a Churchill or a Trump are you? Good luck with that. In the meantime the socialists love it when the conservatives are divided. Maybe we could manufacture another split vote like we did in Alberta. Right now today the only viable option is to fully support Scheer and the conservative party. He is a hell of lot better than Trudeau. BTW, what have YOU done other than bash away at your keyboard? Were your efforts rewarded and your expectations met?

NDP SUCKS, “Scheer is operating in stealth mode as part of his strategy, using deception with the media, and not being too radical in the minds of the socialists that would open him up to attack. The Rebel has been branded extreme alt right, racist, bigoted and all of the other labels the leftists can think of and doing more interviews now with the Rebel is off the table as this would give ammunition to the CBC and the attack would begin and not end. It is part of the stealth strategy, not an outright rejection of the opinions stated on The Rebel. The distance and non communication between Scheer and The Rebel must be maintained in order to get elected.”
Just as I suspect, supported by your acciunt, Scheer is a deceiver and a coward . We need a Churchill in our desperate times, not a Chamberlain.

Andy Neimers and Space Moose. Scheer and the other opposition MP’s are doing a credible job in the house of commons. Just because they are correct in the opposition doesn’t mean they get support from the media or the bureaucracy. I have seen the definite shift in articles and opinion on Global Edmonton since Trudeau was elected. It is the reality of news today if people want to keep their job then they will tow the line. Gord Steinke used to have my respect but not much anymore. You want the conservative nation to make some kind of manifestation to a conservative party. What about the people who call themselves conservative? What have they done that is effective? Don’t kid yourself if you think people are not being attacked as I can give you some of the names. One option is to contact Scheer himself and that is exactly what happened recently with a meeting and with contacts within the official opposition who have stated off the record that Scheer will be a good conservative leader but he has to get elected first. Scheer is operating in stealth mode as part of his strategy, using deception with the media, and not being too radical in the minds of the socialists that would open him up to attack. The Rebel has been branded extreme alt right, racist, bigoted and all of the other labels the leftists can think of and doing more interviews now with the Rebel is off the table as this would give ammunition to the CBC and the attack would begin and not end. Speaking at a town-hall meeting in Hamilton, Ontario, last week Trudeau affirmed that Canadians were entitled to their beliefs, “Of course, you’re more than allowed to have whatever beliefs you like” and then he added a “but….” That reminds me of Salman Rushdie speaking in response to the Charlie Hebdo attacks, saying, “The moment somebody says ‘Yes, I believe in free speech, but’, I stop listening.” This step towards full-fledged totalitarianism by our little dictator must be stopped in its tracks and not allowed to proceed any further.

OK. Here is something semi positive. I am slowly warming up to Andrew Scheer after he left me cold when he forced his caucus to vote in favour of the paris climate accord aka wealth redistribution scheme. The liberals would have passed the vote anyway so if the conservatives opposed then they would have to battle the global warming community about the scientific theories and supposed facts. They did not want to fight that continuous battle when they would still lose the vote.

Don’t be fooled by Scheer’s Alfred E Neuman grin and boyish demeanour. Unlike Patrick Brown he is smart as a fox and is just biding his time. He does a very good job pinning down Trudeau during question period. The problem is the media gives Trudeau a free pass and the rotten bureaucracy supports Trudeau at every turn. If Scheer and his critic MP’s barked too loud too often then they would wake up the lap dog CBC and the war would be on. Actually I am surprised the CBC hasn’t already started the war with Scheer but maybe just maybe they don’t have any ammunition. This is to Scheer’s advantage. I have learned from a fairly reliable source that Scheer will do the right things but he has to get elected first so he is being deceptive but not in the same way the liberals and ndp lie through their teeth. This is a more cunning strategy that has a chance to draw back some of the liberal votes and Scheer will have a huge amount of campaign material to use against Trudeau. Now it is up to joe conservative activist to get behind Scheer, donate money, volunteer, and get out their and try to convince people to get out to the voting booth.

Here are some of the things Scheer would like to turn into policies after being elected.

1. Defund CBC
2. Scrap carbon tax
3. Protecting and developing forest industry
4. Common sense on firearms
5. Support for parents of home schooled children
6. Against M103
7. Standing with Eastern European allies
8. Supports Israel
9. Accountability for First Nations
10. Support agriculture
11. Ending corporate welfare
12. More choice for new parents
13. Adding property rights to the charter
14. Freer trade
15. Standing for religious freedom
16. Better health care
17. Cleaner environment
18. Respect for seniors
19. Close loop holes at border and better immigration vetting
