Ontario’s Doug Ford beats the NDP, the Liberal Party and the Media Party — and they are already vowing to “resist”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives won a resounding majority government in Ontario. He got 40.5 per cent of the vote, which is strong in a race with three competitive parties.

(In the last election, Kathleen Wynne’s Liberals got a bit less, 38.6 per cent, and even less in the previous election. I mention this because of course, already, there are the usual voices claiming that he doesn’t have a mandate, that most people voted against him, and so forth.)

I must have read a thousand stories in the campaign comparing Ford to Trump — it was an easy way for these Canadian journalists to pretend they were fighting against the great satan in the U.S., by fighting the little satan in Ontario.

And it stopped them from having to actually pay attention to what Ontario voters cared about. Because they hate Ontario voters, too.

TONIGHT I'll show you some of their unhinged post-election night tweets. Like this from Maclean's magazine, that gets $1.5 million a year from Trudeau:

Experts aren’t sure what is behind the populist wave that has pushed loud-mouthed guyslike Ford to the fore in democracies around the world, but there are some theories...

This is the same sneering that got Ford elected in the first place.

My point is:

Doug Ford just smashed the conventional wisdom —but it wasn’t real wisdom. It was the wisdom of the elite clique that thought it spoke for all of Ontario.

They just learned they don't. So they’re not going to let Doug Ford do anything —they’re swearing total war.

They’d rather have Ontario fail, than Doug Ford succeed...

NEXT: Our own David Menzies covered the campaign, and joins me to talk about what's next for Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives.

Justin’s cognitive dissonance problem is catching up to him on a daily basis. He has spent so much capital on his feminist schtick that is now being undone by his elbow incident in the house of commons and his blatant support of sharia law where women are nothing more than property, baby producers and beat up slaves . Metoo is going to take on a new meaning for Justin and that is I got caught too. He might get away with it now but his turn is coming. He also has the same problem with gay people. On one side he is a champion of LBGQT and on the flip side supports the sharia police who like to throw gay people off roof tops. Maybe that old environmental rocket scientist expert on everything Andy Stephenson can spin this for everyone’s shits and giggles.

When is “METOO” going to demand for trudeau to resign and step down?…..
commented 2018-06-09 16:46:17 -0400
Too true, Liza, too true. On the left’s double standard, that is. But the leftard MSM are embarrassed and they will bury this story quickly unless much more comes out. Watch them run from Justin’s ‘METOO’ moment.

Libtard hypocrites like Andy will expect Ford to fix all the McGuilty/Whiny mess and by god if he doesn’t do it then they are going to hold him accountable. Yes siree bob.

Andy if you had two clues to rub together you would be dangerous. Efficiencies means smart spending, reduce spending, setting priorities toward service delivery, reduction of the civil service through attrition, establishment reviews, holding ministers accountable. For the past 15 years Ontario had none of the above and in fact was the opposite and where were you during this time Andy, reading shite from the Broadbent Institute or Mein Kampf?

‘If the left didn’t have double standards they wouldn’t have any standards at all’
They are not even embarrassed about it.

“I’m sorry. If I had known you were reporting for a national paper, I never would have been so forward.” – Justin Trudeau to a young reporter

‘Andrew’,

What “he said, she said” are you referring to exactly? Trudeau didn’t dispute having behaved inappropriately with a young female reporter. Of course, he used vague weasel words to characterize what happened. Even so, he made it clear that he only had reservations about his behavior because of possible national exposure. Are you seriously going to try to defend him on this? Wow, do liberal ‘values’ collapse quickly when it becomes politically inconvenient for the left to uphold them. There is a word for this: hypocrisy. Own it.

Ontario now has a provincial debt about one-third the size of that of the federal government and will be in economic recovery mode for decades to come, thanks to the Liberals’ debt-piling, drunken sailor spending mentality that has racked up six times the per capita debt that basket-case California has. It’s pity there isn’t criminal law that covers such out-of-control spending by politicians in Canada. If there was, Canada would be in much better financial shape right now. Ford will have to choose between two unpleasant options: either keep spending at the Liberal rate (I don’t think he will do that) or start cutting the fat out of the system and lower taxes to stimulate the economy, as Trump has done very successfully in the U.S. Time for sanity in Ontario.

Look how Justin greets people. He practically kisses them on the mouth. The guy is creep city, and when the next victim surfaces people will start paying attention. I’m sure there are people in the background working overtime to make sure that doesn’t happen. There might not be another come forward, maybe there is something else that will be exposed that’s even worse. I would put nothing past him.

I wish I had a penny for every time Ford has explained how he is going to ‘pay’ for tax cuts. I know the word ‘efficiencies’ is a new one to the alt left, but if they understood how it worked, Ontario wouldn’t be one of the most debt ridden places on earth.
He said he isn’t putting anyone out of work, but that doesn’t mean he is hiring anymore civil servants. He is going to tender everything out so there will be no more filling the pockets of ‘friends’ at the expense of the tax payer. Stuff like that Andrew, now lets hear your lame objections.
Go.

“Paul Givens commented 2 hours ago
Trudeau accused of Groping a Female Reporter!! Perfect Rebel Media Story! "

LOL, and with that you find out how little people care about Breitbart’s/the Rebel’s muckraking, especially when the basis is as tenuous as this one. This is a he-said-she-said citing an opinion column from nearly two decades ago, no exactly robust.

“An investigation is needed into the conduct of Justin “Weinstein” Trudeau. Where there’s smoke there’s fire.”
Robert Raymond you can say that again. Justin has to be held to account the same any one else.
commented 2018-06-09 15:36:23 -0400
So, how’s he going to pay for his tax cuts? 20 billion dollars in gross debt accumulation plus 10b in tax cuts doesn’t get paid off with 6b in unspecified “efficiencies” which he can’t actually identify at the moment.

“Space Moose commented 19 hours ago
Glad to see that Manitoba is no longer the only progressive conservative province any more. "

Pallister’s probably the last one you should mention. He seems to be more interested in being everywhere BUT Manitoba, he’s done nothing to fix the Hydro mess, and the deficit’s not gotten any smaller.

Perhaps Brad Wall? Oh, wait, I don’t think he would have run away to NDP Alberta any faster had his arse been on fire.

“They will lose whatever trust they have left if they engage in endless unsubstantiated attacks on Doug Ford. "

The substantiated ones still bite though. The question remains: Will you hold him accountable if/when he messes up, or starts breaking promises (see comment about impossibility of tax cuts) ?

An investigation is needed into the conduct of Justin “Weinstein” Trudeau. Where there’s smoke there’s fire. This type of conduct is not a “one of”. I bet it happened before and since 2000! What about the elbow to the breast of the member of parliament. Is that not a form of sexual harassment?

Congratulations to Doug Ford and his team for pulling the carpet out from under Wynne. It should have happened in the last election, but I’m so glad it finally did. I remember when Ralph Klein cleaned up AB. The meltdown from union groups was fun to watch, but Ralph kept his eye on reducing the deficit for the Martha and Henrys’ here. I didn’t agree with all that he did but he did take the bull by the horns. Though the debt in AB wasn’t even close to what ON is on the hook for. I hope Ford let’s the water run off his back like Ralph did and keeps the ship upright! Steady as she goes!

Well that takes care of Wynne. Let’s see what we can do about the remaining three horseman of the Canadian Economic Apocalypse, Notley, Horgan and last but certainly not least…. Justin Trudeau.

NDP Sucks… I must say that having seen Horwath’s son on the stage election night for the first time, it must have taken some thoughtful restraint in the backrooms of the PC’s not to use his pix in some pre-election posters… Oh Dear.. is that “Hamilton Centre” personified?… But then, dragging family members into the political game is OK now??
commented 2018-06-09 03:35:31 -0400
We now have someone in Provincial Government that is going to put the garbage out to the curb.

Horwath dragging her son along is not a good idea. If he looked like one of Trump’s kids I would agree. But looking at where Horwath’s kid is, demonstrates to me that her parenting skills leave a lot to be desired. She has not been successful in passing on good wholesome values if he is inclined to wear some rape culture shirt. If she can’t bring up one kid to have respect for himself and others, how is she going to run a Province?

I am a bit saddened to see that Andrew Lawton did not win London West. Now that he does not have a job, would Ezra be so kind as to rehire Lawton?

41:01 Who is “Kathleen Ford” ? – who cares it is maybe the best day in Ontario in 2 decades.

Congratulations Ontario for choosing right again, 16 years of evil self-absorbed liberals is way too long, but extremely disappointed that this radical ndp got 40 seats, guess a lot of people are beyond stupid. Love your comments Ndp Sucks and Lisa and others, so glad to see wynne-bag out of there as leader. Now we have to get rid of the as’ kisser nutley, can’t wait, it seems so very long from now then the bought-and-paid-for sock puppet trudope.
commented 2018-06-09 00:19:37 -0400
Glad to see the incompetent, failing, ill advised Liberals and NDP are beginning to pass away in provincial politics and thereby making things more difficult for Trudeau. And soon the bare majority BC political frankenstein of the Horgan / Weaver will prove to be another political disaster. Why do progressives cling to failure after failure? Its mind boggling.
I guess self serving narcissist unionists will never give up their high salaries, matched pension contributions, extended health benefits and union protection against firing for laziness and gross misconduct. Include with them the mochachino sucking elites in large urban centers working at banks and you have the gross politicals class called the Liberal and NDP.

Brent who? Is that Gerald’s brother? I do see a resemblance.

Re: character assassination of Doug. We all know it will be relentless. Its not like we haven’t seen lots of this, we are well primed to ignore it. What ever they come up with, I already don’t care. Shake it off and keep moving forward. Nobody believes the left’s snivelling anyway. Keep your eye on the prize.

David Menzies did a fantastic job in covering the Ontario election. And Ontario voters have restored my faith in their province. I had a recurring nightmare that Ontario voters would keep the Liberals in power no matter how badly they were abused, but I was wrong. Welcome to the real world Ontario. You are a bright light for the rest of Canada today.

Congrats Ford nation and Ontario!

Repost from the Doug Ford victory speech article:
Where are the trolls? Cant wait to read what the resident leftist regressive, coward, fucktard, jimmy, john sarah will have to say about how bad the predictions where again. WAIT…on second thought, I could not care any less what that sociopath has to say.
Good for you Ontario, wishing you all the best for your sake and the sake of Canada.

Liza, Horwath made the mistake of showcasing her lost child to the media….the gigantic tattoo on his abdomen “ALONE” plus the freaky looking doll neck tattoo, in addition to all the soy boy hallmarks is sad! The man bun is truly a cry for help!

Will Horwath finally step down? She is a three time loser afterall.

It was nice to see that arrogant smirk wiped off the face of Redenbacher. On deck for a good ass whoopin is the wicked witch of the west. Get ready Snotley, your days are numbered. That will happen in Alberta and everyone knows it already. Conservatives will rule four adjoining provinces just in time for Trudeau to get his ass booted out and wipe another smirk off another arrogant lying libtard face.
