Ontario’s Doug Ford beats the NDP, the Liberal Party and the Media Party — and they are already vowing to “resist”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives won a resounding majority government in Ontario. He got 40.5 per cent of the vote, which is strong in a race with three competitive parties.

(In the last election, Kathleen Wynne’s Liberals got a bit less, 38.6 per cent, and even less in the previous election. I mention this because of course, already, there are the usual voices claiming that he doesn’t have a mandate, that most people voted against him, and so forth.)

I must have read a thousand stories in the campaign comparing Ford to Trump — it was an easy way for these Canadian journalists to pretend they were fighting against the great satan in the U.S., by fighting the little satan in Ontario.

And it stopped them from having to actually pay attention to what Ontario voters cared about. Because they hate Ontario voters, too.

TONIGHT I'll show you some of their unhinged post-election night tweets. Like this from Maclean's magazine, that gets $1.5 million a year from Trudeau:

Experts aren’t sure what is behind the populist wave that has pushed loud-mouthed guyslike Ford to the fore in democracies around the world, but there are some theories...

This is the same sneering that got Ford elected in the first place.

My point is:

Doug Ford just smashed the conventional wisdom —but it wasn’t real wisdom. It was the wisdom of the elite clique that thought it spoke for all of Ontario.

They just learned they don't. So they’re not going to let Doug Ford do anything —they’re swearing total war.

They’d rather have Ontario fail, than Doug Ford succeed...

NEXT: Our own David Menzies covered the campaign, and joins me to talk about what's next for Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives.

Yeah, that ‘kid’ who is a grown man, 25 I think? looks like he is headed for greatness.
Andrea Horwath and her ex ‘domestic partner’ as stated on wiki, must be very proud.
From the man bun to the tats, and piercings……all alarm bells are a ringing.
Why would she use him as a political prop? A Peterson emergency is right!

Is it possible we will have provincial, and possibly federal parties listening to the people and not special interest groups or a self serving bubble?

I get a kick out of the loony Left, first after the Trump Presidential win in 2016 and now with the conclusive Doug Ford sweep for the Premiership of Ontario, that the Left start calling themselves “the resistance.” Laughable.

The monied elites, the main stream media party, the educational and university establishment, public service unions and all left of centre political parties like to think of themselves as the “resistance” against political opinions that they do not share. It is time these loons, did a reality check. They are hardly the resistance. They are the status quo. They are the special interests. They are the anti-sovereigntists. They are the globalist establishment.

It is ordinary people who support populists leaders like Donald J.Trump, Nigel Farage and now Doug Ford, who are the true ‘resistance’. Ordinary people who support theTRUTH, human rights, family values, jobs. hard work, self-reliance, honesty, decency and love of God and country who are the true ‘resistance’. They are ‘resisting’ the godless, soulless, treasonous globalists. who want to take it all away.

Both Ford and trump came along at just the right time. Both Americans and Ontarians were fed up and disgusted with the ruling parties. They desperately wanted change and voted in mass for that change. And a lot of dis satisfied Liberals in Toronto voted Conservative also.

Doug Ford’s victory gives me hope that Notley will go down in flames next year. The electorate aren’t as dim as our elites think and I feared they’d be. Let’s hope that the opposition to Doug Ford will be like blowing on a grease fire. I hope the media make idiots of themselves with their reprobate accusations and smears.

They will all treat Ford as the left and the media treat Trump.

Watch and see.

They are evil.

The Liberal Party of Ontario has been put out to grass, let us hope that they die on the vine. Bye Bye Wynne, Hello Happiness, Don’t Think I’m Going to Cry.

Canadian msm used the failed tactics of their American counterparts, and, expected a different result…that’s the definition of insanity!

Congratulations to Doug Ford….may he use Twitter often to bypass the government sponsored propaganda outlets….snipers and vipers!!!

- Leftists love elections as long as they win. That’s when they declare that voters gave them a mandate to make sweeping change. When they lose they whine & demand their opponents “reach across the isle” & seek compromise with them. I’m hoping their “resistance” is as successful as it’s been in the US. They’re off to a great start. They assume that everyone in Canada hates Trump. It’s just something they decided on everyone’s behalf. If you’re going to manipulate people it would help if you actually understand them & the media party understands little outside their echo chamber. So now they’ll focus on Ford until their hero Notley goes down in flames & then Prime Minister Soy Boy after that.

- Spencer Fernando was also behind Ford. The Liberals were counting on facing Patrick Brown & would have had a chance if that had happened. If they knew they were going to be facing Ford, Wynne would have stepped down before the election was called (which wouldn’t have worked but they might still have party status). The media party will follow the mainstream media in the US & will suffer the same fate. Few will trust anything they say. The first 100 days will be make or break for Ford for sure.

- Joe Warmington called it. People in Ontario are sick of the far left big government Liberals. This is the first time we’ve had an actual choice in about 15 years. The best indicator of how well Doug is doing is going to be how much the media party attacks him. They gave their own base false hope – just as the mainstream media does in the US. He should take Sue Anne Levy’s advice & hold his first meeting with John Tory in his mothers’ basement (any bet that Tory will be asking for a provincial bailout?).

- Once again – PCs 76 seats, NDP 40 seats, Liberals 7 seats, Greens 1 seat. Go Ford!

Doug Ford is far more cautious than his brother. He was very gracious in his first media conference as Premier designate. If the left stream media try the same shenanigans they pulled on Rob Ford, I think it will be highly counter productive. The public has far less trust for the media now than in the days of Rob Ford. They will lose whatever trust they have left if they engage in endless unsubstantiated attacks on Doug Ford.

One down and one to go. 2018 – Kathleen Wynne; 2019 – Justin Trudeau.

Glad to see that Manitoba is no longer the only progressive conservative province any more.
