Learn how much you REALLY paid for Trudeau's India trip — Why is the Media Party ignoring this?

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

How much did Justin Trudeau’s trip to India cost? Well, that’s the crazy thing. The bills are in — partial bills, more are yet to come — and it’s over $1.5 million. But not a peep about it in the any English language media.

The Quebecor newspaper Journal de Montreal published a story on it today.

It wasn't a scoop, or even revealed by an Access to Information document. It was an order paper question in Parliament.

But every single media outlet in English Canada — including, of course, the CBC — simply declined to do a story about the cost of the greatest wreck of Trudeau's prime ministership so far.

(By the way, The Rebel submitted an Access to Information request about all of Trudeau’s costumes. But the government says they won’t answer that question in the 30 days required by law. They want a 300-day extension — they won’t answer until 2019 — because they say telling us how much they spent on costumes for his dress-up party would disrupt their operations...)

Tonight I'll read you excerpts from the Journal de Montreal story, like this one:

"During the nine-day stay last February, the government paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for the rental of rooms and meeting rooms in hotels, nearly $60,000 for chauffeur-driven car rentals, and even $17,000 for a Canadian chef's trip to India to prepare a meal at a party."

Because I guess India doesn’t know how to make Indian food...

(I’ve got an idea for Canada’s wounded military vets. They should re-train as Indian chefs. Maybe Trudeau would have a few bucks for them then.)

There's a lot more.

This is unacceptable from a government that is telling the rest of us to live smaller, to “make better choices” about energy and travel, telling veterans they’re asking for too much.

But really:

Given how the CBC and the rest of the media is just fine with it, what possible incentive does Trudeau have to stop?

NEXT: The left is suddenly outraged by the treatment of illegal alien children, but immigration lawyer Guidy Mamann joins me to point out that Canada does the same thing.

THEN: I discuss the big news that Trump has pulled the U.S. out of the UN Human Rights Council with Claudia Rosett, Foreign Policy Fellow, Independent Women’s Forum.

FINALLY: Your letters to me.

Trudeau, Canada’s fake Prime Minister. Very weak and dishonest to boot.

In all seriousness, ask yourself, how have your liberties and freedoms been improved and better protected since Trudeau was elected?
How has your pocket book been affected since Trudeau II became your PM? Increase or decrease?
Has Canadian’s tax freedom day lengthened or shortened?
Exactly what has he done that has made Canada a better place to call home? (and please don’t reply with mj legalization)
Is Canada a more or less divided country since Trudeau became PM?

Don’t fear though; you liberals will get to see lots of him in costume now that the warm summer months are upon us.

Thankfully The Clown Prince Trudeau’s days are numbered and those days can’t go by fast enough.

I don’t recall Ezra complaining about Harper’s $1 million trip to Israel where taxpayers funded private citizens to tag along. Oh wait, Ezra’s own father was one of those who tagged along. Imagine if Ezra wasn’t too cheap to pay for his own dad?

Space Moose, how do you read a leftard traitor? And which one are you referring to?

Today I felt a need to watch Trump read the Snake. I hope that one day Ezra reads the snake for us.

… and the delicious irony is that when justice comes, it will have been their own determined stupidity, their determined destruction of the society and culture that gave them their easy lifestyle, that will have caused it.

‘Daniel’, I’d suggest you bone up on a few relevant terms like sharia law and dhimi and (forgot the name of it) tax that you or your kids will be suffering under eventually, unless you convert and become a tax collector.
commented 2018-06-21 02:41:31 -0400

It isn’t like ‘Daniel’ works at a real job like in a car manufacturing plant, so when Socks Clown’s stupidity gets those plant closed and moved to Detroit, it isn’t as if it’s going to be any skin of ’Daniel’s nose. That’s the thing about the ’Daniel’s of the Western world today; they can live in their fantasy Utopias, trashing Christianity and promoting the demise of their children by Sharia law while real workers who support them get screwed by their idiot leftard leaders, and it never affects them one iota. But justice is definitely coming one day…

Daniel Ocean Scheer is waste of skin. Once they selected him i stopped donating. He can get bent.
OH BY THE WAY , i hope you enjoy your ISLAMIC call to prayer from your so called secular city hall LMAO! Of course you will not give a damn that they are hypocrites as you are a leftie and one yourself.

Tom Bradly no he is not lying. They are not criticizing this like they should, try some comprehension lessons.
commented 2018-06-21 01:08:15 -0400

You might be right about Scheer not watching The Rebel, or not. You don’t know, or do you peep into his window at night? But if you did and it turned out he doesn’t, it only means that he is slightly less deluded than you. Your assessment of The Rebel shows your complete disconnect from reality, which hopefully will end one of these years, and hopefully without your ilk enabling a number of major catastrophes in Canada first. MM, nah.

As to Socks Clown’s lavish junket at our expense, I could care less (it’s pocket change compared to the amount he wastes and destroys in Canada every day from his economic mismanagement) if he were doing his job properly for Canadians. But given that he is a complete economic incompetent and a traitor to Canada on top of that, I would like to see him reimburse Canadian taxpayers for every penny he didn’t need to spend.

Sure Tom Bradly, did you read the articles you linked? They have NO PROBLEM with the expenditures, they actually tried to justify it. Crickets by the way at the CBC, only story listed is his China trip.

This link sums up that trip succinctly because of quote:

“Here’s how it’s seen in the Hindustan Times newspaper: “As Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues his eight-day visit to India, the fact that his schedule includes just half-a-day of official engagements in New Delhi is being described as “unusual” by veteran diplomats and criticised by a Canadian watchdog. A veteran Indian diplomat said in his long experience with bilateral visits, he had never experienced a trip of this nature, where the visiting dignitary spent so little time in official engagements with counterparts in the Indian government.”"

Daniel the fake fuck…..Your posts are pathetic, only an idiot would condone these expenses, or someone wanting their turn at getting a tea bag from trudy. I suspect the latter but I stand by the idiot statement for sure.

If Mr. Harper had spent this amount of coin on a trip plus had bad negotiations with India there would be so much outrage by the Canadian media and liberal politicians alike. The left leaning media would hold this story in the public eye just as long or longer than the scandal on Mike Duffy. They’d be crying for him to resign immediately, but not with little potato. They know the hand that feeds them and they aren’t willing to slap that hand.

Funny thing is, he did. He spent 1.2 million just to bring his own transportation.

We should be patient and see what Andrew Scheer has to say about all this wasted money. Oh I forgot that Andrew doesn’t know about the costs as he doesn’t read the French Newspapers and only watches the CBC, and not The Rebel.

Had this been a conservative PM wasting so much money then all hell would break loose and the leftards would be demanding his resignation over the astronomical waste but because it is one of their own the only sound is crickets. HYPOCRITES EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM, DISGUSTING!!!

Robert, as of 11am E S T. Sky News was announcing that Trump had dropped his order to separate kids from their Mothers. Now once the are admitted in to the USA they dump the kids and go their own way. Trump should not have listened to the so called, do gooders.

Trudope’s interview doesn’t age well does it?!! Virtue signalling fail…as usual.

CBC says, “Canada aims to avoid detaining migrant children, but it happens”
Womp Womp!!

Thanks for interviewing Guidy Mammam, very informative re: Canada’s policies.
His assessment of the mass hysteria Dems & Rinos in the United States was accurate. On cue, msm whipped up their base to shift the focus of the public from the IG Report released last week and the hearings taking place this week – quite a few bombshells the media party doesn’t want to report on.

I listened to Mike Pompeo’s and Nikey Haley’s speeches earlier today, the rationale for leaving was explained very well and on point. The UN & the Human Rights Council is a farce, this Administration has been working on reform for over a year, no results, I thinks it’s reasonable to walk away.

Trudeau is a gibbering idiot, if he is not dressed like a clown then he is crying in his tea cup. Bloody embarrassment for Canadians, about time he was put in a padded cell.

Why in Le Journal de Montreal? Because there is not one Quebecois who doesn’t know about the indian costumes disguise of Justin and the international shame it brought on the country. Except of course the lefties who are in general too dumb to understand. To save this country, it is now a duty to cut funds to the gov’t. You can’t imagine how many businesses are willing to participate. Same for the social programs. We’ll never stop the invasion of illegal migrants unless the welfare programs are abolished. Starve the corrupt machine of gov’t should be the goal of every sane canadian. Democracy itself is at stake.

Apparently people here don’t know much things actually cost when it comes to President’s and PM’s and their staff when they travel.
Another drive-by from Drive-By. The point isn’t the cost of high level activities. The point is that you and I payed for his unnecessary personal junket and it could have been done for substantially less if Captain Crayon had wanted to. The fact that he humiliated himself and the country was just a side benefit.
