Trump starts a trade war over steel — while Trudeau “dances his way through life”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Yesterday Donald Trump announced that he's going to war — a trade war, one he’s been talking about for decades:

"Trump says US will impose steel and aluminum tariffs"

But what about us, here in Canada?

The New York Times reports:

"China is the main target of possible tough new United States trade measures against low-priced imports of steel and aluminum. But the sanctions threaten to ensnare America’s closest allies, particularly Canada."

That article ran a week ago, when Trudeau was dancing his way through India in his own Bollywood fantasy. (And of course getting himself embroiled in a terrorism issue...)

Meanwhile, this headline from yesterday:

"Foreign direct investment in Canada plunges to the lowest in eight years; And for the first time in a decade foreign companies sold more Canadian businesses than they bought;

That’s mainly Trudeau and Notley’s war on oil and gas and pipelines.

But now Trump is coming for steel, and after that, do you doubt he’ll be coming for cars, for Ontario’s industrial heartland?

Trudeau's budget this week shows he’s in denial.

His bizarre feminist approach to trade deals shows he’s in denial about NAFTA.

We’re about to be smashed by Trump — and it was all so unnecessary.

I wrote about this in my book a year ago — called Trumping Trudeau. I hate to say it, my pessimistic predictions in that book are coming true...

NEXT: Candice Malcolm of the True North Report joins me to talk about Trudeau's Minister for Public Safety, Ralph Goodale, running away from reporters asking how a convicted terrorist got invited to one of the prime minister's official dinners in India.

THEN: I sit down with Ontario PC Party leadership candidate Tanya Granic Allen to talk about the issues facing the province, and how she'd tackle them if she wins the leadership race.

Trump is a businessman and his NAFTA team are seasoned professionals while The Clown Prince Trudeau is a part time drama teacher and his NAFTA team are lite weights when it comes to negotiating anything.

Trudeau hasn’t done a solid trade deal ever!!!!! At best he gives CDN money and jobs away then declares a win. What a joke.

I predict that the L CDN Lieberal NAFTA contingent will get crushed as always.

Whoever voted the Lieberals in should be horsewhipped.

It’s a long time between now and the next election. I wouldn’t start celebrating yet that Justin is going to be out. What are we going to get with Scheer though if he does win?
We could also ask what we are not going to get. We are not going to get:
- someone who has never worked a day in his life except as a hobby.
- someone who admires terrorists and dictators.
- a self absorbed dancing jackass
- a narcissist
- a sock puppet
- someone who humiliates himself in front of other nations and Canadians at every turn
- someone who doesn’t bully people into his beliefs
- a staggering piss tank
- someone who can’t put two words together off script
- someone who has been guilty of criminal activity while in office
several times
- someone who knows Canada is 150 years old
- someone who has no money for veterans but has $650,000,000 to fund abortions in other countries
- a poor liar and spin doctor
- someone who is not a marxist
- someone who is not part of the entitled Laurentian elite.
- someone who will never- NEVER- answer a question straight on
- someone who tries to bribe me with my own money.
- someone who has not the first clue about what a budget is
- someone who doesn’t suck up to globalists
- someone who doesn’t treat me as a child even though he is the biggest child in the country
- someone who doesn’t pay millions to terrorists
- someone who doesn’t think his silly assed grin qualifies him for office
- someone who doesn’t think that because of his name he is some kind of royalty
- someone who doesn’t think he is a celebrity
- someone who makes it condition to agree to the killing of babies to run for office.

I could go on but the hour is late. I’m sure someone else can take over.

BOB ROCK- Asked :What do we get with Scheer if he does win?
I copied this from a commenter named Kay

He is merely the leader of the controlled Opposition of the other wing of the Uniparty.”

Tammie. Thanks for that.
Weak is an understatement.
He is worse than brutal if that is possible.
We need a new leader before this country goes further towards hell.

I’ll bet you old timer Ralph didn’t have very kind words for the PM after he faced the on-slot of reporters in the hallway. Someone has to tell it to him straight.

James Scott, CTV Ottawa aired a different/edited version of Trudeau…he probably was given multiple takes to nail his weak message!

Trudeau addressing questions regarding the proposed steel Tariff. From the same podium.

CBC’s video clip.

Global’s video clip: (Part of a CBC news item)

So did CBC hold a second Q&A session afterwards, solely with their lovely Trudeau, helping him to be seen as a slight bit more intelligent when they wrote their own news story. And CBC wonders why they have no credibility.

Just found out today. An apartment complex where one I know, has resided for 10 years, rent set at 1300 dollars, was told not to renew the lease as the apartment was to be renovated. All the rest of the tenants are of mid-eastern descent. Dollars to donuts the owner is also of mid-eastern descent. What we really need now is more and more immigration, cause the ‘Turd’ really likes us middle to lower class people.

Liza said in part, “What does our government expect when they have created such lack of social cohesion? Mandated harmony. Won’t that be fun.”

It’s going to be slave state if the Globalist agenda isn’t stopped.

Watch Jihadi Justin and the Lieberals try to blame Harper when NAFTA collapses and industries flee to the U.S. As stupid as Justin Castro is….it pales in comparison to the 39 odd percent of stupid voters that put him into Ottawa, primarily in Eastern Canada. They will be affected the most in the coming trade wars……….! Idiots!
commented 2018-03-03 16:14:28 -0500
My apologies for taking the topic further off rail.

Trump is going to have Justin for breakfast lunch and dinner. Too bad for Canada.

I applaud Candice for staying on this India story. The distractions are coming fast and furious. We can’t let up on this government about what happened. The corruption in Justin’s cabinet must be exposed.

Good interview with Tanya Granic Allen. Ontario is lucky to have her, and I am grateful for what she has already accomplished in this leadership race.

Tammie that Black Pigeon vid is depressing, but he’s right. I think the best we can hope for is to stop the incoming, get rid of anyone who causes any trouble and anyone we can pay to leave and regain some balance by having babies. Canada will never be the Canada we were born into, but I ain’t dyin until its free again.

When Black Pigeon talks about truth no longer being a defence in Canada "…if in the authorities estimation those facts might spark EMNITY toward a group . " I thought about the definition of the word emnity.

- positive, active, and typically mutual hatred or ill will
- a feeling of hostility or ill will, as between enemies; antagonism
- “Hatred, ill will,” the feelings of an enemy.
and especially this
– Synonyms: enmity, hostility, antagonism, animosity, animus, antipathy. These nouns refer to the feeling or expression of ill will toward another. Enmity is deep-seated hatred that seeks to oppose, harm, or defeat another.

Well, only in the delusional Utopian multi-culty brain of a liberal in Canada, would you ever think that with that much ‘diversity’ you could ever have anything BUT enmity. Especially when the government plays identity politics and pits one group against the other.
I guess it will depend on what country your judge was born into, what colour, sex/gender and political stripe they are, whether you come out of a human rights proceeding intact, broken or at all.

What does our government expect when they have created such lack of social cohesion?
Mandated harmony. Won’t that be fun.

Boy are things going to be dire by October 2019. The damned liberals always do this. They make a colossal mess, get thrown out and the conservatives have to spent their entire term cleaning up the mess. On top of that, they are abused by the liberals who made the mess in the first place for implementing the necessary austerity measures to regain some balance. Only this time the election will have some tomfoolery attached to it, and even if a conservative gets in who is actually up to the job(no one in sight) the mess is worse and things globally more dire than ever before.

All I can say is , beer and popcorn.
We’re screwed.

Jill and John Ward—-I can’t agree with your comment that only You and Bravo and very few other Canadians warned us not to vote for Trudeau. Probably 99% of Rebels knew of the dangers of voting for Budget Boy.

Bravo Zulu, Well said! I wholeheartedly agree with you. I’m afraid you and I might be among the very, very, few "Canadians’ who actually are smart enough to get it! I warned not to vote for this psychopath and I warned who he would serve and protect and that we will never get rid of him once he is elected.

Considering it’s the Chinese who are partly lending Trump the money to pay for his tax cut (estimated to double the US deficit to nearly a trillion dollars), and who hold more than a trillion dollars of current debt, Trump had better be careful, or at least have a plan B if they call it.

Ezra, please keep us up to date on all the tariffs Trump put on Canada, such as Bombardier and soft wood lumber. Thanks.

Canadians are spineless wimps who would rather sit back and wait for an election which is NOT GOING TO UNSEAT THIS CRIMINAL AS HE HAS FILLED CANADA WITH ILLEGALS AND WILL ALLOW THEM TO VOTE FOR HIM VIA HIS COMPLETE ERASURE OF DEMOCRACY HERE IN THE FORMER CANADA, or better yet, wait for SOMEONE ELSE OR SOME OTHER ARMY TO COME SAVE THEM! Apparently there are very, very few ACTUAL PATRIOTIC, FREEDOM LOVING, CANADIANS left here in the former country canada , now trudeau’s post national , lawless, borderless, wide open third world welfare dump while he enriches himself and his friends and continues doing everything he can- including breaking the laws every day, spending all our money and selling/giving away all our resources in his psychotic, maniacal eagerness to completely wipe canada, canadians -especially we white canadians, our values, history, culture off the map and out of the history books! And we are again rewarding him for it!! It simply doesn’t get any more mind boggling than this!

Brian Smith—-I also thought that Canada would be exempt from Trump’s tariffs until I think of Trudeau’s Trade Tour (Named By CTV) to the US where he called on Trumps enemy’s including Obama, Rham Emanuel, and 3 others.
Trudeau was sticking a stick in Trump’s eye in Trump’s own Country, as if he was daring Trump to do something. I think Trump will respond to Rainbow Socks.

Canadians will pay dearly for the actions of the true’duh lieberals and their clueless complicit dead peaplekind walking sheep !
Despite our impending econmic destruction it’s an unfortunate lesson on the dangers of the Liberal’s and NDP’s socialist experiment and subsequent brainwashing of its citizens . We are doomed as a society if we are not to learn from this moment in history and stop this version of globalism’s hostile takeover .
Trump era is hopefully the start of this process Canadians will have to endure till at least 2019 before our opportunity presents us to right the ship .
Stay strong have faith this will be a bumpy ride .

Well kids, Mitch Wolfe on the Canada Free Press site pretty much sums up what is going to happen to Canada in a trade war with the U.S. in his article “Spineless Trudeau Carries No Stick in Canada/U.S. Trade War”. The story includes video of Jr.’s stumbling (drunken?) explanation of the steel trade with the States. Warning: This article contains information totally disheartening to Canadians.
commented 2018-03-03 10:07:41 -0500
I strongly suspect Trump will exclude Canada from the tariffs because we are not dumping and there would be no advantage to the US mills or consumers.
His actions do however, put the Canadian NAFTA negotiators on their heels. Trump is signaling to the gender pandering imbeciles that they better get serious and that he is the big dog in this fight. In the meantime we will puff our chests and act with riotous indignation threatening to not buy oranges, hope not.

Bravo Zulu said in part, “Trump – in my opinion – was prepared to give the islamic prime minister a chance.
Now President Trump has seen and come to realize there is absolutely no reason to respect the islamic prime minister of Canada – and in fact I fully believe President Trump despises the islamic prime minister of Canada – and for good reason.”

I agree with your post, and would add, Trudeau courts extremists of all stripes and Trump recognizes this.
