Pipeline protesters appear in Vancouver court — and the media is hiding their identities

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

The foreign-funded activists protesting the Kinder Morgan pipeline in British Columbia have a weird, gross shantytown they call Camp Cloud, which sounds peaceful, and like it would smell fresh.

In fact, it’s squalid, and heaped with garbage.

And their criminals. Again and again they assault the police.

But, as Lee Humphrey told us the other day, politicized prosecutors are laying the lowest possible charges against these criminals, if any.

I want to show you how the Vancouver Sun has become a stenographer for these law-breakers:

"Tom Sandborn (...) told B.C. Supreme Court Justice Kenneth Affleck that the project amounted to what he called 'serious crimes' against First Nations treaty rights, the environment and the safety of nearby residents."

It goes on for quite a bit like that. That’s junk law, junk politics, but the Vancouver Sun just copies and pastes it in their newspaper.

So who is this Tom Sandborn?

The Vancouver Sun describes him only as “a professional writer.”

But I have access to this amazing machine called Google, unlike the Vancouver Sun!

As I'll show you tonight, nine out of the ten hits on the very first page of results on Google show that Tom Sandborn is a professional, lifelong protester and anti-oil activist, paid by foreign anti-oil lobbyists like the U.S. based Tides Foundation.

That's not all the Vancouver Sun isn't telling you about these protesters...

It’s bad enough that our country is overrun with foreign-funded extremists looking to shut down ethical oil, to the benefit of OPEC conflict oil.

But what about the mainstream media, who are either too lazy or complicit to tell their viewers even basic facts...?

TONIGHT'S GUESTS: Joel Pollak, Senior Editor-At-Large for Breitbart News, comes on via Skype from Israel, to talk about the new U.S. Embassy that will be opening soon in Jerusalem (and the pro-Trump posters going up around the city); then Jonathan Schanzer, Senior Vice President of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, joins me to discuss Trump cancelling the "Iran deal," and Israel's strikes on Syria.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

I don’t like it when the MSM lies to us. You did show that The Sun did lie about those protestors. With that said, @Ezra Levant, I encourage you to now do that same level of research on Kinder Morgan. I spent just 10 minutes looking up who the Board of Directors for Kinder Morgan Inc are and found the Executive Chair is Richard D. Kinder, who’s management career traces back to Enron and Kenneth Lay. Yes, THAT Enron, THE Enron that crashed and burned when it came out it was a multi-billion dollar scam. Kinder Morgan still looking so upright and honest Mr. Levant? Seems to me you just did exactly what you accused The Sun of doing, hiding facts to suit your narrative.

About the pipeline: It’s not “just and upgrade of an existing pipeline”. Well, technically it is, but there’s more to it then that. It’s a massive increase in the capacity of that pipeline that would see Vancouver Harbor see an increase in the size and number of oil tankers from the current 3 per month to a whopping 30+ per month. Not just tanking regular crude oil, but bitumen, which is mixed with very deadly and very flamible chemicals which will cause the bitumen to sink and wash up on Vancouver’s beaches and coastline, contaminating our must valuable and productive land for years to come. If that spill happens out on English Bay or in the straights, the damage would be even worse! Our salmon runs would be devastated and our salmon industry ruined, coastal Tourism would be ruined.
No, piping our oil out of the country, then buying back the finished products for more then we got selling the raw resource is bad and stupid. Pipelines don’t create jobs long term. We get all the risk of an eventual spill destroying both our environment and our economy, with none of the benefits of that oil.
No, a much smarter approach would be to BUILD OUR OWN REFINERIES. Yes, process that oil here, then we don’t need to pipe it as far, don’t need to risk our coastline and waters, don’t need to risk tanking our economy. And refineries employ thousands for as long as they get a steady supply of oil to process and customers to buy the value added products. Those sell for much higher then the raw bitumen does so more profits for Canadians. It’s a win all around. What’s more, it is possible to build refineries that scrub most of the air and water pollutants they make and process those by-products into additional products for sale.
So why are we talking about just dumping our oil into tankers for someone else to get all those jobs and profits again? That doesn’t seem to be very “pro business” to me.

The main stream media are liars. It is as simple as that.
commented 2018-05-14 08:44:35 -0400
Of course the media is hiding the activist’s identity!

The MSM always pretends that the pipeline protests are all local grass roots folks concerned about that evil oil pumping through that evil pipeline, so to have a protester that is paid from out of town and even from out of country goes counter to the narrative they have so carefully crafted over the years.

Allan Peterson, I probably agree with most of your views.
During the past 45 years that I have voted conservative, we seem to keep splitting our strength and allowing the left to move forward without resistance. We are our own worst enemy. The left has proven to be far more organized than us.

But, Nigel, we keep splitting because the leftists keep infiltrating the Conservative Party and conservative parties in general. You bet they are organized and part of that organization is infiltration. Then when real conservatives finally wake up they want to start a true conservative movement- hence the splitting. The splitting is caused by left wing infiltration and the slow wake up of real conservatives. If we want to have a chance we need to learn how to spot a CINO from a mile away and punt them out.

What we are really bad at it keeping the riff riff out.

I took this from another site…It’s about modern liberalism…Just another everyday person expressing their thoughts while we can…

“Add to that, is that Liberals actually really know they are committing evil but believe (religiously) that any cost is worth it to create their fantasy world. As a matter of fact the worse morally they are, the more they feel it necessary to preach and punish. It’s as if they are in penance, but flogging their neighbors for their own sins. The reason you can’t win an argument with a Liberal is not because you can’t win an argument with an idiot, it’s because a Liberal argues for arguments sake, not to prove they are right. After shoveling Schiff at you for an argument, they self proclaim they have won. Hell, they even have fake news, fake science, fake history, fake physics, fake math, fake logic, fake facts to back up their fake arguments. In fact their whole world is self created, a complete fake interdimensional fantasy world created in their minds in which every facet of their world can be used to prove almost any insanity. Very sick people. If they feel so guilty about their failing and hate the rest of us so much, why don’t they just jump off a bridge.”

However, as conservatives we are losing the war and it is time to draw a line that is electable and to first hold that line and then to advance. During the past 45 years that I have voted conservative, we seem to keep splitting our strength and allowing the left to move forward without resistance. We are our own worst enemy. The left has proven to be far more organized than us.
Meantime, thanks for the intelligent and polite comment – all the best.

Allen Peterson good point on the mess these hypocrites always leave. I would hate to see the condition of their moms basements .

LIZA….the Saudis are nobody’s friend, but penis nosed Justin is their friend….bought and paid for 10 times over. Just like step daddy Pierre, and the proof is in the pudding. Energy East bites the dust and black Saudi bunker oil flows like the Thompson during spring runoff.

As for the debacle in Burnaby, if the whole herd left today I would be glad to grant them total immunity from any charges IF….the creep ndp MP who blatantly interfered, and 80 proof drunken May had to spend a year in jail with NO chance of parole. In addition St. Suzuki, Gregor Robinson and the mayor of Burnaby were subject to one hour against a wall being pelted with rotten eggs by the Burnaby baseball team. In the meantime build the fkn pipeline already.

If I appear to greedy, I’ll settle for Elizabeth Sow getting a year…NO PAROLE and NO BOOZE.

but at this point we simply need to start winning elections with governments which are more conservative than the current groups of idiots.

But, Nigel, if the Conservatives win when they are noting more than a front for the Liberals we have actually lost again. Unless the brand name means everything.

Ezra, As always a great show.
Thanks. In particular for your closing comments about how important it is for all conservatives to do their best to make sure that Ford and Kenny form the next governments in Ontario and in Alberta. I had received a lot of flack for my own criticism on the comment section about David Menzies statement (on your show) that he would not be voting for the PCs in the Ontario election because of his anger over the way that Ford has captitulated to the more Liberal wing of the Ontario conservatives. To me, this was not constructive.
I understand and to a large extent agree with his anger, but at this point we simply need to start winning elections with governments which are more conservative than the current groups of idiots. If we need to make some compromises, we need to simply hold our noses.
Once elected, the Rebel’s job (and the job of all Rebels) will be to hold their feet to the fire, but first we have to make sure that they are in power.

Not surprised… The 5 “Ws” that were the foundation of honest journalism somehow started to be glossed over in the Vietnam Era 60s and thereafter… These days, naming those found guilty, is strictly “optional” and obviously so on the CBC, CTV and Global networks… Ditto for 90 per cent of the print media also…

Moving the American Embassy to Israel is another smart move by Trump. Any missiles fired into Israel will be very close, or possibly right on America, the land that the embassy stands on will be American soil. Trump will have every right to retaliate.

Off topic but related. Germany, France and the UK have all backed Iran, thus going against the USA. It should be noted. None of the three leaders of these Countries made that decision themselves. Unelected leaders of the EU made that decision for them. They are, in fact, nothing but caretakers, with authority over domestic matters only, in their own Countries.

- The media party is on the side of those who want to destroy the country. Does anyone still think they’re on the side of the Canadian people at this point? Nobody who’s actually paying attention anyway. Fake news outlets lining up for taxpayer bailouts & acting as propaganda outlets for professional protesters funded by foreign far left organizations so they can destroy the country. It must be Canada.

- Moving the embassy to Jerusalem was long overdue & sent a message to everyone in the middle east. Iran attacked Israel out of desperation. Trump pulled out of Obama’s idiotic nuclear deal & made the Iranian leadership look weak. Their first move was to burn the US flag & go into hysterics. It was a hollow bit of theater. The Iranians want a conflict with Israel in order to take the spotlight off themselves.

- If Iran gets the atomic bomb you can count on them using it on someone. They are an increasingly unstable power in the region.

Ezra, getting justice for Sheila, and also giving those young lawyers an education was certainly worth the money! At first the cost takes your breath away, but that’s the price that had to be paid for exposing the feminist thug Dion Bews, for his criminal assault and battery against Sheila!

Professional agitators should be treated like the criminals they are, charges are not enough….heavy fines should accompany guilty verdicts. Throw Sandborn out of Canada and detain him at the border when he tries to slink back in.

Great interviews Ezra.

I was able to tune in for Battleground twice this week….I really like the format.

Tom Sandborn has a BA in BS. People of his ilk have zero understanding of reality. That’s why they protest a sure thing, fossil fuels, for fairy dust ideals.
