SPECIAL! In-depth interview with new UKIP leader Gerard Batten

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

If the 2016 U.S. presidential election was an earthquake, the 2016 Brexit referendum in the United Kingdom was a warning tremor. In both cases, victory went to the forgotten people, who didn’t do what they were told by the elites.

Brexit was the result of a decades-long campaign by UK skeptics of the globalist scheme to integrate Great Britain with the European continent. They warned that the European Union's impenetrable bureaucracy would take on a life of its own, and that Britons would no longer be masters of their own house.

And they were right.

Add in the terror of radical Islam, and Angela Merkel’s open-borders experiment, and you had a perfect storm. The man of the hour was Nigel Farage, leader of UKIP, the UK Independence Party. His brilliant videos from his seat in the European Parliament inspired countless Brits to learn why the EU was a bad deal, and to find the courage to break free of it.

UKIP started rising in the polls. The ruling Conservative Party thought they’d take the wind of its sails by pre-emptively calling a referendum on the matter — and to their shock, and that of the fancy people — Brits voted for Brexit, the "British Exit."

Farage left the party, his chief goal now accomplished.

Since then, UKIP has had a series of leaders, none of whom have endured or found success; the party has fallen in the polls and had financial difficulties.

But maybe it has found its feet again, with the leadership of Gerard Batten, a colleague of Farage who has been in the UKIP trenches for more than 20 years, and serves with Farage in the European Parliament as a UKIP MEP.

At first, I didn’t at first pay much attention, until I saw him consorting with our former reporter, Tommy Robinson, in the UK — and publicly standing up for Tommy, after his arrest.

That’s more courage that you normally see in a politician.

So today we bring you a special show — a full length feature interview with Gerard Batten, the new leader of the UKIP Party.

Kerri Groves. Please tell me these history books I need to revisit. Is it the Belgics, Celtics, Romans, Scotti, Saxons/Frisians groups, Vikings, Normans, Nazis. What is coming home to roost, A? Or are you on about the British having to be apologetic about our history as Germans (recent history) are not or Irish invading Britain (longer history, but still relevant) are not? If you are going to come out with ridiculous comments, at least give people a clue on what you are relating too. The UK’s biggest problems are given by Gerard batten in this interview and it revolves around this vile eu empire, OK!?

Great interview. But no, the Earthquake was June the 23rd 2016 and Country saying f**k off to an evil sick empire, with a tremor at the end, with the US election!

Mr. Levant – Please don’t let the Tommy Robinson issue fall off the radar. BTW, you do well thought out interviews, stay on topic, & show your interviewees all due respect. It’s a shame that most of the others in your field cannot exhibit the same degree of professionalism.

We have two enemies, the liberal socialists,(all of the people in power that govern us) and the Muslims, (those that want do murder or enslave us). The only way that we can win and regain or freedom and our nation is to unite on the political Right. The British electoral system makes it virtually impossible for small right-wing parties to get elected. Only proportional representation can do that. There are also the voters that vote for the establishment because they do not want to be branded racist and that have believed and accepted the lie that a multicultural Britain is possible. Britain is in fact in a state of increasingly violent ethnic-conflict. We have to ignore accusations of bigotry and vote for the patriots, heroes and nationalists that promise to answer mass immigration with mass-deportation. The first step is to ban Islam and erradicate it from our soil.

“The Great British Awakening” Continues to gain momentum.
The Tommy Robinson situation has generated debate at street level in quite a big way. This is all to the good. For years, as has been pointed out by many, the British people have been ground down and Guilt Tripped into silence and compliance. But the dam has been breaking for a number of years now, and the Tommy Robinson arrest has caused some very sever, irrepairable cracks. Who cares what the colour of the politics are, as long as they are supportive of Free Speech.
After that, Political Darwinism takes over and leads the way.

I really think its time that the British realize their problems have nothing to do with the EU. Their problems have been created by themselves and their history. As they say about the rooster coming home to roost. If the British people would just shut their TV’s off for one week and open their history books then they would be able to just look in the mirror and see the culprit of the situation you are in. Stop blaming your politicians and start blaming your newspapers and your TV hosts. This problem has been growing for decades and decades unchecked. Only now are some people starting to wake up. But at least if you are going to put your glasses on, clean them first and see the real culprits of your situation. Its just You Brits. Start taking responsibility and stop blaming everyone else, ie. the latest elected officials, muslims, authorities, etc. If you cannot figure out why you are where you are then maybe you have spent too long away from the history books. Start reading and thinking and stop blaming the wrong people.

This in-depth interview didn’t do it for me. Had it been 10-15 minutes, well okay.
IMO, this interview should be shared with Rebel UK, not behind the paywall.

So you are going to hold it against full grown adults for having gone to a private school decades ago? Tommy certainly did against Nigel. Don’t expect Nigel to stand up for Tommy after making such a comment.

Keith Barnes—We know that May called an election around 12 months ago, but what does that have to do with the way Nigel treated Waters or Tommy.
All Liza and I are saying is Nigel dislikes Waters, while you said that that is not correct. The link you received simply confirms that the two will never work together. No big deal.
I still like Nigel, in fact he is one of my favorites, and Liza also has said the same.

I stated that it was from the time when Theresa May last called an election which was eight to twelve months ago, I was just guesstimating.

When Ann Marie lost the UKIP vote she formed a new party, which in my opinion will never win an election. All she will do is take votes from other Party’s. This is unfortunate, I myself followed her for a while and still am impressed with her tenacity, but a winner, she is not.

Look out for Farage starting a new Party if another referendum is called. Like him or not, he is a winner.

Space Moose that explains do much. You said, "I went to a private school, does that make me inferior than other people? "
Not inferior, just less street smart and more ‘aware’ lets say, of the going narrative, occasionally at the expense of truth and loyalty.

There are no interviews on the lunch time show. You would be missing out , but hey don’t let the door hit you on the way out JSMART.

Ezra since you started doing “Battle Ground” this show is not as good. I support The Rebel exclusively for your show. If this continues I will likely feel no need to get “pay wall” content.

Not too long ago, Tommy did an interview with Batten. I seem to recall the two of them putting down Nigel for having gone to a private school.

Maybe it is me, but I think it is really petty and pointless to attack somebody for the school they attended when they were a kid.

I went to a private school, does that make me inferior than other people?

Doesn’t the rebel support private schools for holding up Christian values? Should Tommy and Battenlook down on those students at private Christian schools?

Keith Barnes, its only 8 months old, the article is full of tweets and quotes that Nigel will NEVER work with Ann-Marie. I also read somewhere that he called her anti Islam, and said a one subject Party will never go anywhere.
Both British Right Parties under Ann-Marie and Jeeda (Britain First) are going nowhere. 2%. in Polls.
Ezra’s interview tonight with Gerald Batten gave us the answer to Nigel’s objection of Waters leading UKIP; Batten said that he and Nigel have been working together for 20 years, so naturally Nigel would rather have his student run UKIP.

Its a year old. Not exactly way out of date , not that it would change anything.
commented 2018-06-01 00:21:24 -0400

Ron your link is way out of date, it is from the time when Theresa May called an election and nearly lost. Ann Marie formed a new party after that and has her faithful followers with her. I do not know how she stands in the popularity polls as of now though.

There are lots of things I like about Nigel. His treatment of Anne Marie and Tommy are not one of them. He didn’t come right out and say that they were racist(which would be a ridiculous statement) but implied it, which was passed by some but was equally ridiculous. I call that throwing the front line soldiers who are doing all the dirty work, under the bus.
The title of the article in Ron’s link is , “Nigel Farage ‘to form new party’ if anti-Islam campaigner Anne Marie Waters wins Ukip leadership”
That doesn’t sound like support to me.
Full marks for Brexit though.

Imagine if the Christians used a system to eliminate apostates. The world would have half the population. They were forced into the crusades but fell short. 1000 years later and they have to start all over

Liza named many problems in the UK, but another one that really scares me is the 9 Thought Crime Arrests a day. (Internet Insults) Maybe more than 9 as they are growing daily.

I stated in one of my comments yesterday, that all the MSM and left wing politicians had achieved, was to create a modern day Robin Hood. Tommy Robinson is now a modern day folk hero for the world, they have had demonstration in Australia and New Zealand and even China. Thank You MSM and the left wing idiots.

Liza Rosie, please remember that Farage is a MEP and although he is outspoken there are certain thing he cannot talk about, because of his job. Of course he supports TR and Anne Marie, they want out of the EU but to praise them could cost him his job. …. Nigel Farage at Trump,s election rally

Politics in the UK seems so Up Side Down as Theresa May seems so weak and on some subjects useless, while Gerald Batten seems so knowledgeable and willing to work at changing things, but will never get an opportunity as UKIP is almost dead as a Party.
commented 2018-05-31 22:36:59 -0400
Gerard Batten has definitely got it right that the Muslim rape gangs are sadistic. One of the young, British victims who was sold into this modern day slavery was a girl of 11 who was branded with the initial of her ‘owner’ abuser: ‘M’ for Mohammed. In court Mohammed claimed he “branded her to make her his property and to ensure others knew about it”. The “Mohammed” these men are named for had 40 slaves himself, so it’s no surprise that these vile men are following their prophet’s footsteps.

The UK stopped being the UK when they became part of the EU. The EU is a globalist creation & it is a police state run by faceless bureaucrats.
