SPECIAL: Frank Buckley on his new book, “The Republican Workers Party”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Frank Buckley, a law professor from Washington, shocked the CBC by telling them something they had never heard before — that not everyone thinks Chrystia Freeland is the diplomat of the year.

Not only was it gorgeous, but Professor Buckley was right. He knew something that not a single one of the CBC’s thousands of employees had ever heard before until Donald Trump himself said it.

Maybe he’s a bit more plugged in to Canada-U.S. affairs than the usual Ottawa suspects, all running errands for Trudeau’s Liberals.

I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it many more times - with the exception of The Rebel and a handful of alternative online news sites, and occasionally the Toronto Sun, if you want to know the problems with Justin Trudeau’s government, you have to rely on foreign media.

Whether it’s serious things like Trudeau bringing a terrorist with him to India, or his #MeToo moment groping a young female reporter, or silly things, like saying “Peoplekind”, you’ve got to read foreign papers because Canadian media just won’t say it.

They all want to keep (or get) a job with the state broadcaster when their private sector company lays them off.

Unlike them, Frank Buckley is a plain spoken Canadian who is now down in Washington and he knows Trump world better than anyone at the CBC, but he also knows Canada.

He’s been integral in the Trump campaign and if he were a Canadian working for Obama, he’d be on TV in Canada everyday.

But he’s a conservative working for Trump, so they have him on rarely, and they attack him.

Well, we find him interesting, so I sat down with him recently to talk about his new book, which is American in focus, but might apply to Canada too.

Watch as I speak with him about his new book, “The Republican Workers Party: How the Trump Victory Drove Everyone Crazy, and Why It Was Just What We Needed.”

The thing that irks me about the modern left is that they insist on telling us how we should be living our lives. This coming from the so called party of the oppressed people. I like the point about how people are told that we are not understanding ourselves. So therefore government needs to do it for us. Government can tell us what gender is, that we have subconscious bigotry, or that any success we have is due to our privilege.

As for FAith and Laura, can any of us really take them seriously? There is a reason why Ezra fired their asses. Did any of you catch the last battle grounds? Damn, did Ezra lay it in to faith.

On the topic of Tommy Robinson. I don’t know why Ezra wants to fly reporters to cover the trial. Ezra alraedy has three rebel reporters in England. He can just send them to the trial instead of flying some reporters in.

Interesting what Buckley says aligns with what Stephen Harper says in his new book, “Right Here, Right Now: Politics and Leadership in the Age of Disruption”.

For example, Harper’s explanation for Trump’s puzzling election success:
“So here is my re-examination in a nutshell. A large proportion of Americans, including many American conservatives, voted for Trump because they are really not doing very well. In short, the world of globalization is not working for many of our own people. We can pretend that this is a false perception, but it is not. We now have a choice. We can keep trying to convince people that they misunderstand their own lives, or we can try to understand what they are saying. Then we can decide what to do about it.”

Keith, I watched Loomer and Faith. Loomer was at her best, just excellent. The right needs more performances like that.

Off subject, Ezra has a great idea for Tommy’s Trial, bringing in real Journalists from all over the Western Countries, so that the British Fake News artists can’t lie as easily.

If, per chance, Trudeau dose not win the next election then we shall see the illiterate Left turn into a Mob of half crazed Monkeys. They will become worse than the louts who were going crazy after Trump won the Republican battle.
There will be blood on the streets…….Right Wing blood.

I embedded this video earlier, on another page. I strongly recommend it.

The taxpayer and the consumer in this country got royally screwed in the US Canada so called free trade agreement. It was a complete failure from that perspective. Taxed to the max and paying with monopoly money. Vote Alberta independence and we’ll put a stop to that in Alberta.

Steve Hicken—-Harper and Alberta’s new Savior Jason Kenney opened up Islamic Immigration as never before, and we are paying the price today.
Even with all his mistakes on Immigration Harper is still much better than Trudeau.

What needs to happen is that the elitist left needs to be soundly defeated. To do this, we need to keep repeating how hypocritical they are to anybody we come in contact with. They keep telling the big lie but we need to counter with the big TRUTH!

ron joseph and that is not Mr Harper’s fault. Yuo can also blame successive Liberal and Conservative govts. And the provincial govts too.

During the election campaign when you watched Hillary and Donald the difference was clear as a bell. Donald talked like an ordinary man chatting to ordinary people. Hillary Scolded and put down half of the voting American people. And was proud to say she was going to put a lot of coal miners out of work. So why would not vote Trump.

Trump thinks Canada’s Immigration System is one of the best?? I don’t think it was too good under Harper, let alone Trudeau. Canadians in Downtown Toronto and Vancouver only hear Foreign Languages these days.
See if this guy agrees. (only 3 days old)

I lived in Vancouver for 14 years. I’m from Quebec. The immigration over there is out of control. Cost of living skyrocketed along with the crime rate. Sometimes at the local Walmart I was the only white guy. During Christmas, my house was the only one with lights and decorations in the neighbourhood, I swear to God. But the crime rate. You would have your friging broom stolen off your balcony if you left it there (it happened to me). In the last few years my stuff was stolen from me over a dozen times. There are a lot of places you couldn’t get a job if you’re white. In my kids classrooms, there were only o few whites and my kids were constantly called “racist “ just for being white. I’ve had enough this year and I looked for the most racist neighbor hood I could find(ie: mostly white). I found it in the Saguenay region in Quebec. 99% white catholic French Canadian and guess what: low crime rate, low cost of living, everybody is so nice. I don’t even lock my doors anymore I kid you not. I don’t remember feeling so relax and happy and I can’t wait for the next Christmas and see all the beautiful decorations in my neighborhood. Now if that’s being racist then fuck off I don’t care what I’m called anymore. True story unfortunately. Now excuse me but I’m going sailing again this week end and I know my stuff is still gonna be there when I’m back.

While I agree that some of the less positive news items about the Trudeau Government, illegal immigration, trade talks and Liberal activity in general, are not covered in the depth that we may find on The Rebel or in The Sun chain of newspapers I have seen all the items mentioned (terrorist to India, Trudeau`s groping and the peoplekind fiasco) covered in The Globe and Mail. I find reading the Globe and Mail, National Post and Toronto Sun provide a good cross section of national news .from different perspectives. Watching the CBC is, in my opinion, as one sided as getting all the news just from Fox News or The Rebel. I have learned over my life and career to gather information from many sources, analyze what is said or written and then hopefully, reach an informed opinion. I think that many Canadians read or watch the news outlets that only reflect their preconceived ideas and miss a whole world of intelligent discussion and unbiased news coverage from numerous other National and International sources.
