The Public Service Alliance of Canada insists their new anti-Conservative attack ad is "fact based," but that's only true if you buy into big labour's worldview.
For instance: Veteran's Offices weren't "closed," they were integrated into other Service Canada offices. Besides saving money, this actually made veteran's services available to more people.
And those new EI rules aren't really that onerous, such as mandating that recipients accept jobs even if they are an hour away from their homes. Don't millions of Canadians already commute that far each day, if not more so?
This union has a vested interest in keeping government as big as possible. We've already seen factually challenged big labour attack ads from Engage Canada and UNIFOR.
And of course, they're legally allowed to spend millions more dollars in campaign ads than the political parties are.
