Tonight, I tell you why Prime Minter Justin Trudeau's handling of the present hostage crisis in the Philippines outflanks his predecessor in statesmanship and adhering to our sensible statutes.
Then, MPP Monte McNaughton joins me to talk about the fight for common sense gun laws in this province. Did you know Sunday gun hunting is permitted in 50% of Ontario but not the other half, for no good reason? Monte tells us how we can help him push back at the regulatory patchwork.
Plus: We've got the week's top headlines from across the globe and your "Quote of Honour!"
Citizens are being interrogated by the police. That’s right questioned as to their motivation in writing about a blithering idiot who couldn’t count above ten with out removing his socks. A bi sexual pinko who has more concern for a bunch of sheep farmers from Syria infiltrating our country at the taxpayers expense than our own people who can barely exist in today’s economy. A Prime Minister who gives away billions of our hard earned dollars to the unwashed of the world
as he laughs his ass off at the hard working people of this country all the while spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on his own personal pleasures and perks.
Prime Minister Trudeau is not to be trusted by the majority of the people He has never attained anything in his life that required hard work and concentration.A life built on theatre and drama unlike the people who have had to work for every dime they ever had.
In short, any opposition to Trudeau will be stopped by the police states of Canada. Or so they think. The people are so upset with this moron with his hands on the public purse I am certain his days will be short in office. no one in their right mind could ever
support this pinko.
Be afraid people ~ Be very very afraid when the police are interrogating the folks who oppose this moron. What is next ? Internment camps for the opposition to this jerk?

As for the various comments attacking the reporter, I don’t expect to be in whole-hearted agreement with Faith or any other Rebel contributor all the time. I expect journalists operating in an “opinion columnist” atmosphere to do just that, put their personal thoughts out there in the interest of stimulating some debate, and not just preach to the choir constantly. If I never disagree with them, they’re not doing their job right.
As for the font issue, every browser has a zoom feature, learn to use it. If you have a touch screen it’s even easier to cope with this minor problem until it’s fixed. Give it a rest already, I haven’t heard so much whining since the last Alanis Morissette release.
@ Hyacinth – “Which reminds me, how goes the job hunting, if I recall you mentioned weeks ago that you weren’t having much luck or am I confusing that with another poster?”
Not so good, but thanks for asking.
No interest whatsoever in it anymore Peter, I do contribute in a small way, i.e.: links relevant to the article, but that is along one of my current interests. Money’s tight as with most people, considered getting back into programming or accounting part-time awhile back but it would be a chore to do since my interests are focused elsewhere. Which reminds me, how goes the job hunting, if I recall you mentioned weeks ago that you weren’t having much luck or am I confusing that with another poster? Too much to remember some days.
I did not say 9 pages of script, I said 9 scripts. Big difference.
You should offer your help to him, then.
Gun laws are designed to make it as difficult as possible for law abiding citizens to own guns. It’s never about crime, if it was, the anti-gun nuts would be calling for tougher sentences for criminals who use guns.
“2) The FONT issue is just that, a CSS issue that is hard to track down, not a fucking conspiracy to make it hard for you to read. It will be fixed when Eitan tracks it down. Has anyone here ever tried to track down a CSS problem when there are at least 9 scripts that draw the page? No, I thought not so give the staff a bit of a break here. "
Peter, actually I have a CIW v5 Associate certification. Never put it into practice though because my interests changed. I do however still like playing with Flash and Photoshop. The job I had previously going through 9 pages of script would have been considered child’s play. I had dozens of reports to go through to track a small error, used to give me a migraine time to time. I’ve always preferred the programming side versus the web side of applications, but my programs are badly out of date now so (shrugs) no point in resurrecting an old interest. But if Eitan wanted to find the problem it shouldn’t take that long unless he just does this part-time which would explain why it is taking so long because life would be interfering.
There are more imposing and serious characters in my mother’s knitting club, Justin.
Happy Easter this weekend!
@ Liza
Whew! I was beginning to feel like I was alone on this one. ;o)
Well Faith, there you have it. The people have spoken. You are now Darth Vader.
1) JT had 6 months to act, but selfies with global elites and ski vacations were a priority
2) Ensuring the safety of Canadians abroad from (let’s call them “pirates” who happen to be muslim) should have been one of his top priorities. Now Canadians abroad safety is more endangered due to his soft approach to kidnapping.
3) he should have called in C-Intel and the military immediately and gathered intel on the pirates and their locale working with Philippine authorities
4) There should have been Canadian intel and JTF2 rescue teams IN the Philippines 5 months ago ready to act
The fact they got a hostage killed tells me the issue was both ignored and botched in last min. efforts. I also suspect he will not commit to sending a specialty JTF2 team to work with Philippine military to root out and punish these pirates. That will telegraph a message of vulnerability through the global jihadi network
Standing idle and using the “we don’t pay Terrorists” ploy as damage control to a botched dithering effort is too lame for words. This was Trudeau’s first real test of leadership, statesmanship and patriotism and he failed miserably on all counts – he’s a weak, arrogant, gormless dithering Laurentian elite twit who is more suited to celeb selfies and lush hotel buffets than helming the ship of state and being the forces commander in cheif.
Bless you this Easter weekend.
Whew!!
Many of you need to check your extremism.
1) All Faith did was “give credit where credit is due”, a very small olive branch for PM Nitwit for taking a hard stance on paying ransom. This does not indicate a nose dive “for the dark side.” It’s called “not being an extremist.”
2) The FONT issue is just that, a CSS issue that is hard to track down, not a fucking conspiracy to make it hard for you to read. It will be fixed when Eitan tracks it down. Has anyone here ever tried to track down a CSS problem when there are at least 9 scripts that draw the page? No, I thought not so give the staff a bit of a break here.
Many of you need to grow up and not be so bloody extremist.
Shannon Anhalt commented, “Thank GOD I’m not paying the $8 a month to listen to this nonsense. She’s gone to the dark side. …”
My thoughts exactly.
I am also starting to question the validity of this site for three reasons. First – they throw alleged “ground breaking” news behind a pay wall. Second – then they screw the postings and articles: size of font, format, no date or time listed, all which make it difficult to read the articles and postings. Third – now you have Faith Goldy with her “news” not only behind a pay wall but apparently by the postings she is beginning to extol the virtues of the tin demi-god Justin Trudeau. The Rebel is rapidly losing credibility because of these very things. I’ve read a couple of articles that suggests that there exists a collusion between all North American media sites and reporters be they subsidized or not. The deterioration of this site over the last few weeks tends to lend credibility to what I had read. The consequence of this deterioration is that whatever I now read on this site, just as what I read on the CBC – MSM, I take with a fist full of salt and try to find separate verification of said “news”.
