Five ways to “Make Canada Great Again” — with guest Ezra Levant

Faith GoldyArchive

Tonight, inspired by Donald Trump's #MAGA vision, I make five bold policy proposals to Make Canada Great Again after PM Justin Trudeau is out of office:

1) Make the Loonie a hard currency.
2) Build up our military.
3) Encourage private medical care.
4) Abolish the gun registry.
5) Place common-sense limits on abortion.

Then, Rebel Commander Ezra Levant joins me in studio to make the case that Canada will always be great, and break down the state of conservatism in our country.

Ken Hanson, I don’t know you. I’ve never met you. I know nothing about you. I don’t care about you. So let ISIS behead you…. not interested…. not my problem. So I wish the anti-jihadists would just quit complaining about it.

1) agreed
2) agreed
3) need to see a complete plan
4) doesn’t go far enough, also remove the rcmps ability to invent law
5) sick to death hearing about this, kill the babies don’t kill them, don’t care they aren’t mine so do what you want and stop yammering about it.

Abortion is one area that gets me when it comes to progressives, Sharia does not allow it, yet they think they can have both.

Keith and Shebel lack of limits means you cannot be charged for killing a baby while hurting the mother, it is not seen as a human , which is staggering if it happens to a woman who wants her baby, why are her choices not valid?

Keith Richards late term babies are pulled out alive, what does the mother have to do with them then, it is not her body anymore, and the baby is left to die. That is horrible. And any woman who has a sex selective abortion is a pig as far as i am concerned.

As it should be- Dear Liza—- it is just not something that I ever gave a good god-damn about .
Late term abortions —that is wrong.

That’s fine Shebel Raj, you don’t care about the fact that Canada has NO regulation regarding the snuffing out of unborn fetuses. Many do and want to at least put an end to late term abortions. It is a reasonable and decent expectation for any so called civil society. Having none whatsoever is barbaric. That you attempt to minimize and ridicule the concern of others for the unborn is pathetic. There are a whole lot of Canadians out there who are disgusted and repulsed by the ‘unlimited’ access to abortion in this country and I’m one of them.
So you shove it Shebel!

The best way to make Canada great again is elect a government and leader who puts Canadians and our traditional values before depraved 3rd world politics and agendas

I have never before expressed an opinion on abortion beyond a casual agreement with “the woman’s right to choose.” But should that right, or ANY right, be completely unlimited? Faith makes a great point on sex-selective abortion. This is something that, IMO, falls under the category of “barbaric cultural practice.” I know the PM hates that expression, but that’s HIS problem, not mine.
I recall the words of the judge during the Shafia sentencing: “The apparent reason behind these cold-blooded, shameful murders was that the four completely innocent victims offended your twisted notion of honour, a notion of honour that is founded upon the domination and control of women, a sick notion of honour that has absolutely no place in any civilized society.” I can not remember a time when I was more proud to be a Canadian than at the moment when I first read this judge’s words. Multiculturalism, OK. Unlimited? Definitely NOT!
The same thing goes for the pregnant women who come to Canada only to score Canadian citizenship for their babies. When we see non-Canadians coming to Canada for the sole purpose of taking advantage of swiss-cheese Canadian laws for their personal advantage, it’s time to p!ug some holes.

Keith Richards, give me one recent example when any Conservative ran on a platform that had abortion as a key issue. Secondly if they did, they were not tying to dictate to women what they could do with their bodies but what they could do or not do with the bodies of the unborn. Why does this cause you to become hysterical?

Only a Lefty – would force a baby girl to have a baby. Doesn’t take much to make them feel good.

5) Place common-sense limits on abortion.

Leave women alone. This is one big reason why conservatives lose elections.

- Your points would bring much wailing & gnashing of teeth from the “progressives” so I think you’re on to something. Obama would have been a 1 term wonder if the Republicans had chosen a fighter instead of a RINO in 2012 (he wouldn’t have been elected at all in 2008 for that matter). Romney seems like a good guy but when faced with a dirty fighter (Obama & the MSM) he folded faster than Superman on laundry day. The Conservatives need a strong Conservative leader.

- The Rebel is needed now more than ever – that’s why I support it. I look forward to the day that The Rebel team moves into the vacant CBC headquarters (the CBC being defunded & gone.)
