Federal Tories step in with “Alberta Jobs Task Force” to clean up Notley’s mess

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

The Federal Conservatives are stepping in to try to clean up the mess in Alberta that Rachel Notley keeps exacerbating and Trudeau is ignoring.

They are launching the Alberta Jobs Task Force, to be headed by Conservative MP’s Michelle Rempel and Matt Jeneroux. The task force will gather information from Albertans, companies and social agencies affected by what Rempel calls a “national crisis”.

The Conservatives say this won’t be Trudeau-esque staged town halls, or after the fact NDP style consultations with fake stakeholders. This will be real tangible Alberta made solutions to the job losses compiled in a comprehensive report to be presented to the Federal Liberals before they write their next budget.

The Federal Tories have had to step in to do the real work for Alberta - work the NDP are supposed to be doing to get Albertans back on their feet, advocating for the jobless, the helpless and the neglected and to come up with solutions.

Someone has to look out for us. It’s supposed to be our Premier. But she is half the problem.

New job initiatives in Alberta?… More than welcome… As I have suggested before, why not drag out grandma’s old recipe for dill pickles, slice em diagonally, and put them in jars labelled “Boy Blunder’s Nose”? I’d buy a few, if they had enough dill and garlic!…

Oh come on, selfies and aggrandizing by Justin is the answer to everything, just ask the left.

Hey Bill… All the more reason to be absolutely serious of disengaging ourselves from the centralized power coming from central Canada and the endless dictatorships that follow it.

Leviticus 2013 commented – "Look at the status the Quebec received only by threatening to separate however they are entitled to full membership at “club Canada”

I’m still fuming at the debt they ran up for the rest of us on their club Fed gold card – most of the spending that put the fed debt over payable limits.

Bill elder… I am just implying that we have been far too patient with Ontario and Quebec when it comes to dealing with the western provinces or should I say colonies…
Here in the west with four provinces the Northwest Territories and the Yukon we have everything that the international market wants and needs.
The endless dictatorships from upper and lower Canada have long since outlived their usefulness if they had any use to us at all.
Look at the status the Quebec received only by threatening to separate however they are entitled to full membership at “club Canada”

I would say she is more like 89% of problem

Leviticus 2013 commented – “Western block party is good but separation into the Western alliance would be much better.”

Call it whatever you want, it’s a political coalition of the 4 western provinces against the Eastern Oligarchy and the 3 federal parties they own.

I can Gar-an-damn-tee you the current economic crisis and social malaise in Alberta would NEVER be ignored by the Feds if it happened in Quebec. They’d be taxing western productivity like over-loaded mules to pull socialist over-spent Kee-Beck out of the economic swamp.

The CPC task force sounds great, but I do not see what will be accomplished. The CPC is not in power federally and sitting on the fence provincially. Also, is not Rempell touted as the Alberta leadership candidate for the CPC?

If the Alberta caucus wants to do something tangible, they should get off the fence and help decide the direction of the right in Alberta. Right now, they are a part of the problem by not having a clear policy about the Alberta right. All this ‘task force’ does is undermine the efforts of W/R as being non-important. The Non-Democratic Party must be celebrating heartily with vodka in orange crush knowing these idiots have just further split the right.

Sorry, I still will stick by the W/R who have been quite competent, except the way Fildebrandt was dealt with. That they are now being deserted by even the Rebel, astounds. Notley is crying out, ‘make that next screwdriver a double since the right is screwing itself!’

A western block party. I like the sounds of that.

United we stand….

I think that, now, is a bad time for inter provincial squabbles. Whaco Bama has just severed all ties with Russia. This is just the forerunner of his plan to declare a state of emergency, that will enable him to stop the Elections.

Trudeau is in bed with Obama and will give him full support, this will lead to a massive increase of Refugees to Canada and the US. It could also signal the start of WW3.

Provincial Spats, no. World wide Battles, possibly. Muslims, certainly.

Bill elder… that is exactly what we need and the west would carry more weight into Ottawa thus increasing our status from entry level to equal partner at the table of
“club Canada”

Keith Richards… Please don’t speak that way because nothing good will come of it… It will not solve the problem and exasperate many problems that we are currently facing with gun control issues.

I listened to her interview with Breakenridge on QR77 this afternoon. What an intelligent, articulate young woman!
She conducted herself extremely well despite some pointed questioning…and made it clear that she cares very much for the plight of Albertans, unlike the eastern libs….

Westerners should abandon both the Liberal and PC parties and form a western block party under a big tent coalition concept – the premise being that if a western block controlled all western seats and voted as a block representing only western interests (rather than Ottawa-Montreal-GTA interests as is status quo federalism now), they would control the balance of power in the house and finally have western concerns put on the agenda.

As it is now the majority of parties are controlled by the Laurentian oligarchy and the west will never be given an equal seat at the confederal table – when I see the mocking smug face of Trudeau repeating his father’s contempt for the west, I want to bitch slap that sneer of his arrogant selfie puss.

Assassinate Notley – that starts the process of fixing the mess.

If the PCs are that concerned about the mess that Rachel Notley is making perhaps they should try to have her removed instead..
Prove her incompetent and have her removed..

I agree with Ken. There are no stop gap solutions any party could come up with which will make a lick of difference.
commented 2016-10-03 17:17:38 -0400
The NDP won’t do anything because they know that exactly what needs to be done is exactly what they have just finished destroying. There are no solutions except getting the NDP the hell out of Alberta and extracting and exporting our natural resources again.
commented 2016-10-03 17:16:50 -0400
The federal pcs need to take care of their own issues, this is a shallow attempt to garner support for the provincial pcs.
