A teenage ISIS fanatic, who was radicalized at age 7, stabbed a policewoman when she couldn't make it to Syria.
The Daily Mail reports that the teen, identified only as Safia S, regularly attended Friday prayers at a mosque where 'hate preachers' manipulated her mind.
The mosque Safia attended has been under the observation of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany's domestic intelligence agency, for some time.
“Sie is a loving girl and no terrorist,” her mother said following the arrest.
The knife used in the attack narrowly missed a vital artery in the policewoman's neck.
In a rare instance, a police spokesman cited radical Islam as the cause for the attack.“We are looking at radical Islam as the cause behind the attack on our colleague last week,” he said.
“This was an Islamic attack against our officers. The attacker was ice cold. Her only worry was that her headscarf was rumpled and she wanted to put it straight. It was nothing to her if the police officer lived or died,” he explained.
