Fernando Menendez: Venezuelan crisis is the result of socialism

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Fernando Menendez, a researcher at the Center for a Safe Free Society, joined me to discuss the ongoing crisis in Venezuela.

Venezuela, which possesses the world's largest oil reserves, used to be the wealthiest nation in Latin America. In 1998 Hugo Chavez was elected President of Venezuela and began implementing a socialist agenda funded by profits from oil exports.

Chavez died in 2013, and his successor Nicolas Maduro continued these policies until the price of oil fell and rendered the Marxist program unsustainable.

Now inflation is skyrocketing and Venezuelans have been reduced to eating pets, rodents, and garbage. Yet the Hollywood celebrities and leftist politicians, who had praised Chavez, are silent.

WATCH our conversation to see how Maduro is using the Americans as an enemy to distract his citizens, and why the opposition must abandon its support for socialism.

Destroyed economies, over 100 Million Communists murdered by their Communist masters!
Anyone who supports Communism and/or socialism today is insane!
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
It’s pretty black and white…

“Socialists and the regressive left ignore the lessons of Venezuela & the suffering of it’s people, and, claim they can do it better. Always forgetting history and the astronomical death toll of this ideology.

Yep..I will add…are these certain left wingnuts wanting this to happen? If so..maybe Karma will step in and pay a visit to the liberalist wingnuts?

All of this was foretold by John the Apostle. Incredible wealth in the midst of famine:

When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”

Revelation 6:5&6

The usual result when people try to be God.
