Fight back Conservatives! Call out media for ignoring THESE Notley NDP “chants”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

As you may know, I have a problem with cowardly conservative politicians lately who desperately want to be liked by people who hate them.

The latest case is how they handled the fake backlash by the NDP and the mainstream media in response to our rally for Alberta families held to protest Rachel Notley’s job killing carbon tax.

An innocuous twenty second chant from the crowd about Rachel Notley, is a big problem for them.

This little light hearted chant is giving all the fancy people the vapours and has them denouncing it as “Trumpism” as though winning against all odds the way Trump did is a bad thing.

Those chanting it were even called idiots by interim CPC leader Rona Ambrose.

Conservative politicians forgot how to fight back and even worse, only want the approval of people who will never like them.

But, you shouldn't want your bully to like you and instead should punch him in the face so he never bothers you again.

Since I like to think of myself as a bit of a problem solver, I can tell these conservatives what they could have done differently rather than drive the bus of political correctness over their own base.

Instead of turtling, send the NDP high horse to the glue factory and call out the media for their collusion and silence because the NDP have no right to malign the whole of any rally by using the actions of the few as I’ll show you.

Watch as we take a look at the rallies the NDP attend. Where is the media calling for Rachel Notley to denounce this? Silent.

Fight back Conservatives! Call them out and stop trying to please a media that hates you.

Instead of hiding under the blankets and throwing your friends to the wolves, wage war alongside your allies or you’ll lose forever.

Sorry, my keyboard stuck. Sheila, your commentary about the Vegreville situation could not have been better put. More Conservatives need to start standing up instead of being wusses.

About the Rally:
I wrote to Ms. Ambrose to tell her that I was upset about her reaction to the rally chant and asked her to pass along my comments; I would not be voting for any of those who did not stand up for the people that were there.

Now the NDP and the left are claiming that domestic abuse has increased since this rally cry. Can you believe it? How absurd; they’re now lying about how this chant is affecting women. It’s unbelievable! I was at the rally and the people around me were laughing at the silliness; for me, (and likely some or even most others) it was a parody of what had happened down south. Apparently it’s ok for the NDP, Liberals and some Conservatives to call us “extreme right wing”, “pigs” and “idiots” but we can’t chant “lock her up”, even metaphorically. Perhaps the individual who started the chant meant that what this government is doing is a “crime” (not in a literal sense) which is why he started the chant. Or, could he have been a plant? (I’m really not into conspiracies).

All and all if this is the result of a stupid chant, our country is going to hell in a hand-basked, for sure!!

Great coverage and commentary on the protests in Alberta. It is good to see “deplorables” standing up to the self-righteous, self-important who seem to have all the time in the world to shoot off their mouth with accusations and labelling. Ezra, you are Canada’s Trump!

Rona calling the people chanting “Lock Her Up” “Idiots” is akin to Hillary calling hard working blue collar Americians “Deplorables”. Like the USA we here in Canada have a large population of forgotten men and women who are taking notice of who’s coming to the aid of Alberta’s and particularly keen notice of people who aren’t. Rona you should cross the floor and join like minded liberals who’ll welcome and enjoy your comments against hard working, blue collar Conservatives. Sadly you blew a fantastic opportunity to help support frustrated struggling families before Christmas. Instead you took the opportunity to call these people “idiots”. It shows how out of touch you are. like Hillary its time for you to go. Merry Christmas!

David White, I found the other post. “FRANKLIN RICHARD commented 1 day ago
The “Lock her up” chant was in reply to Drunkard Liz May saying she would go to illegal means to keep Albertans down.”
There were some nasty operators sent from the cbc specifically to discredit us. How pathetic that this was the best they could do. A sarcastic chant, all of 20 seconds long, blown all out of proportion, possibly not even initially at least, directed at Notley.
Has anyone considered the possibility that the person who first yelled out lock her up was a plant?
We’re going to have to be a lot more careful in future.

You got that right Sheila.

@leviticus 2013… e-mail is ringing like whorehouse cash register on New Years Eve with all of the leadership candidates looking for money and supporting vote. This whole incident has made it much easier for me to narrow it down. I’m down to three.

The only one of the bunch I have had any real experience with is Steve Blaney. He was Minister of Veterans Affairs and handled some real stinker files well. The CBC misrepresents the fact that the downsizing that took place during his tenure was actually pre programmed back in 1999 based on VAC corporate planning projections made in the Cretien/Martin era. Blaney’s only mistake there was that he should have laid off the personnel department and it’s ideological support managers first and parachuted in some pragmatists rather than leaving in the SJWs.

Chris Alexander can match Trudeau in looks and charm and would certainly be the pick to have the diplomacy to ride the media waves….problem is….the CBC hates him and none of that will do him any good. And he is just TOO diplomatic to tell them off in a way that will be memorable to those looking for a leader……he is the one that will make conservative voters sigh…say what’s the use….and just stay home and not vote.

Brad Trost is the most solid for values….but he needs a Don Cherry to coach him.

The Rebel Media sponsored what I would consider to be a worthwhile cause. The event was attended by average Albertans who were protesting a coming TAX! The people who were protesting a TAX were called “Idiots” and “Pigs” by the elite. Shame, shame on this country and the people who condemned them because they wanted to be on the right side of the mainstream media. Despicable cowards…

@liza ROSIE…. I’m not totally sure but I believe Chris mentioned her name as he was speaking, someone said lock her up, and the whole thing steamrolled from there. I believe in one of the Rebel tapes you can actually pick it up. The chant grew so quickly and understandably all thoughts drifted towards Notley, which made sense. As is the case with any large gathering there is crowd noise over and above the speakers and maybe I and one other who posted this the other day are the only ones who picked up on it. The whole incident was innocent but look what it turned into. Proved what scum the whole msm is and exposed the apologist phonies as to who they are. I did send dear Rona a rather explicit email today, and politely(ha ha ha) told her how much I would be sending her when the next donation slip comes( and they seem yo come weekly) SWEET FUCK ALL. Any money I send to the Federal Conservatives from now on will go to Brad Trost.

I missed that David. What was the Elizabeth May reference?
commented 2016-12-07 14:09:33 -0500
As I and at least one other has pointed out, the lock her up chant STARTED with a reference to Elisabeth May, and the assumption was that it was referring to Notley, (which it rightfully could have as well), but look where things ended up. Actually a good thing for a change. Shows who the PHONY conservative reps are, and proves how corrupt and biased that the msm is. Brad Trost looking better and better federally, and I hope Brian Jean is out hunting for his balls, he needs them asap. Where was Jason Kenney? And Rona Redford???(no MORE money from me, Rona)

Has anyone else been watching the corrupted left media in the States melting down because Trump is bypassing them and getting info directly to the people without the liberal lies attached… my God I thought it wouldn’t get anymore entertaining than the Americans kicking the liberals to the curb… I was wrong.

I listened to Gormley this morning on 980 CJME, and even he doesn’t get it. Disappointed in you John. Absolutely fixated on ‘lock her up’ and completely missing the point. What a bunch of delicate little flowers to be so offended by what was clearly sarcasm. All the mortally offended, ever so civil and polite at all cost Canadians, who have taken this completely out of context need to lower their own noses and take a big whiff of where the stink is really coming from. Hiding behind this fake outrage is a cowards response.

Gormley playing both sides of the fence mentioned that Albertans have good reason to be frustrated but asks if it wouldn’t have been better …bla bla bla. Of course it would have been better to chant ‘vote her out’, or my new favorite,’ break her broom’ (thanks Lloyd), but it was the heat of the moment. The response of ‘lock her up’ was a spontaneous reaction. It was sarcasm. To be hung out to dry by so many we thought stood with us is a disappointment but it has certainly separated the wheat from the chaff. That people are so easily ‘triggered’ just shows how far down the rabbit hole Canada has descended into self righteous group think. Subterfuge, this whole sink hole of outrage is a screen, something to hide behind. Pathetic.

Gormley spoke to Brad Trost who is in the maritime’s at the moment by phone . Brad Trost stood up for us and I thank him for that. This was outrage designed and dealt out by the media party, and all those threatened by the truth fell right in line. Cowards the lot of them. I am still so mad I could spit.

Has IT been mentioned that the left in Canada and Alberta mirror the Hillary democrats to a tee. So when the fake news makers, CBC et al try to draw parallels between us and Trump supporters, provide them with the truth about how they look like the Hillary/Obama democrats, for it’s themselves that are having trouble with an original thought.

Derek Fildebrand will be a better leader than Brian Jean… His confrontation with Wynn was outstanding but his own party threw him under the bus in a politically correct moment.. He’s not afraid to ask the hard questions but I am very disappointed in Brian Jean and he showed very very weak leadership towards the people that gave him money as well as supported him with their time and effort.

Political correctness does not work fairly in both directions because the left has all the freaks, on the right is mainstream people… The lefties require and rely on political correctness because it dis-empowers mainstream people in favor of the fringe minority freaks.

Sheila Gunn Reid has “a problem with cowardly conservative politicians lately who desperately want to be liked by people who hate them.” She mentions Rona Ambrose.

The rally in Edmonton was not intended to be a hatefest against the Conservatives, unless I missed something. Was the rally intended to incite hatred against Rona Ambrose and Chris Alexander and other Conservatives who attended the event?

Are the Conservatives really hated in Alberta? Some would say the Conservatives are the most popular political party in the province.

And where were the Danes? Those proud Albertans of Danish background who seem to get away with everything. Were they hiding under rocks?

Have another rally….plan it now for mid January before it loses its strength.
Stand up to Notley and the media.
Make them see Albertans are serious and will NOT give up.

Poor little Rachel almost cried when addressing the media on this chant.
Brad Trost tweeted he would have joined in with the chant!!

Right on Sheila! We need a real leader like Trump!

Brad Trost has said that he will sell the CBC in fact, he’s already started working on it!
Also, stands in support of those that attended the rally, saying that he would’ve joined in on the chant if he’d had the opportunity to be there.

Self righteous prigs. Especially Chong. Dead in the water.
That’s a saying lefties, I’m not inciting violence.

What’s up with Rona Ambrose’s comment, she sounds just like Barbie’s husband & Hillary Clinton. The Conservatives had better get their “you know what” together & unify with what’s important to us or they will be losers again next fed election. Some are sounding more liberal than conservatives & becoming too politically correct for my taste.
Watched only part of the debate tonight & “boring” is what it was, but a few stood out, Sheer, Trost & Alexander & according to a pundit on CTV, only the fully bilingual need apply, something I don’t agree with. The whole affair looked amateurish….the words were not in sync with the mouth……many of the candidates were consistently looking right & left ……the translater was trying to speak over the candidate, because the audio of the voice had not been turned down or off, so you couldn’t hear anything she said, just couldn’t get interested & of course Chong had to reproach Alexander again.

Brad Trost has my support as of this minute. The only one who has spoken out in our defense. Thank you Brad Trost.

Most important , is to expand REBEL before both elections

Refer to my post on Ms. Gunn-Reid’s previous story, not going to re-post.

However, this shows, particularly Ambrose, that they care as little about the working stiff as Baby Doc and the Alberta Non-Democratic Party. Right now Alexander has my vote for the CPC, because none of the others had the courage to attend when invited. I was originally tossing up between Bernie and Leitch, but they showed they are all rhetoric.

I thought it would be a tough choice between Jean and Kenney in a united party vote. But the presence of Jean and the absence of Kenney tells me all I need to know.
commented 2016-12-06 19:41:09 -0500
Absolutely disgraceful, I would have expected this reaction from aĺl the federal Red Tory’s including the interim leader, but the lack of full support from Brian Jean and the offensive comments from Jason Kenney were truly disappointing
