Firing Steve Bannon is a victory for the establishment

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On Friday's show, I explained why Trump's decision to fire Steve Bannon is a victory for the establishment and the left.

Bannon brought the "Trumpiness" out of Donald Trump, he made him a fighter.

Establishment Republicans like John McCain and Mitt Romney were unwilling to combat Democrats on divisive issues that are at the heart of modern controversies like immigration and Islam.

Sure, they talk about balanced budgets, but who's against that?

WATCH my video to see how the firing of Bannon means the establishment is back in power, and why this lowers the odds of: building the wall on the Mexican border, extreme vetting of Muslim migrants, and cracking down on the violent alt-left.

Liza Rosie,

No, The Rebel is running out of steam. With all the “star” contributors gone that got The Rebel most of their views on YouTuve and just Ezra, Sheila and Menziod left, it’s just a matter of time before The Rebel is gone.

Drew Wakariuk,

Rachel Maddow is currently the top rated news show. Fox has been losing to MSNBC.

Beyond that, Murdoch’s sons are liberal – so Fox News sooner or later will be turning into a liberal channel, especially with all their stars quitting or getting fired. Eric Bolling will be the next one gone and then Sean Hannity.

Mike Krchnak,

No, Breitbart was started by Andrew Breitbart – who ended up dying. Hence the name Breitbart.

Fuck, you are dumb.

Sarah Stallone FOX beats all the other cable news , none of them can compete.
commented 2017-08-21 00:49:27 -0400
Sarah Stallone actually people with brains do take them seriously , people on the left who are told what to do like pathetic sheep do not have brains or they would make their own decisions. By the way when did CBC ever apologize for LYING about the Rob Ford 911 call? NEVER! When did they apologize for slandering our troops with LIES about torture? NEVER! And please show me their immense coverage of the Levin trail or when they ever reported the attack on the Jewish family in Calgary? LMAO! Anyone who takes them seriously is a simple minded buffoon like our PM.

Sarah Stalone Sun News could have competed if they had the same playing field. The left screwed them over and CBC does not get many viewers , they are a joke. By the way , you do know CTV and CBC are forced on us by the CRTC right?

Sarah Stallone…or Sarah or jimmy or whomever,….yet here you are.
Breitbart was started by Bannon, do try to keep up.
commented 2017-08-20 23:31:20 -0400
No one with a brain takes Breitbart seriously. A news network started by Bannon won’t be any different.

Besides they wouldn’t be able to compete against the FOX parent company and the affiliates. Bannon’s news network wouldn’t be able to get into that many homes, thus it would just like Sun News trying to compete against CBC and CTV in Canadian terms.

Right. The Rebel is not quite dead. We conservatives need to give a platform to Nazis.

Okay, I absolutely love what Robert Jones said ‘President Trump (may peace be upon him)’ is brilliant and I hope that you don’t mind if I use that too.

What I understand is that Steve Bannon was going to work in the White House for 8 months. He handed in his resignation August 7th, and the 18th was his last day. I agree with what Robert Jones said also that the beast is uncaged. Steve can fight for President Trump (may peace be upon him) much more effectively now with Breitbart. MSM Fake news are crapping their pants. So are the DemonRats (DNC.)

Trump is fighting on 3 fronts. The democrats, the permanent bureaucratic establishment and the old republican establishment. Indeed may peace be upon him.

Robert Jones…..President Trump ( peace be upon him )…….I love it man, too funny!
If you don’t mind I will use that one.

So Bannon is out leaving the Trump administration helplessly toothless???

Oh but I think not. I now perceive the situation to be more akin to the beast having been uncaged and he will now commence to devour President Trump’s (peace be upon him) vile enemies like a Great White Shark!

Also, with the recent Antifa crime spree, including attacking the police unprovoked in Boston. President Trump has now been vindicated in his statement “both sides”.

Therefore the party hasn’t even started yet me dear kith and kin for the band has simply been warming up.

Glenn Craig, I think that is a distinct possibility.

The real battle lines have been revealed. Finding ways to combat the total domination of liberal media to get the other side of the story out in a timely relevant manner. To expose the bad actors to the public who seem clueless as to who they are. The good news? Before last week no one even would mention antifa and now they have been drawn out into the daylight with people on CNN declaring their open support. Why is this being hyped right now? I think because as Clinton, Lynch and other investigations are being opened with damning revelations lawyer Jay Sekulow has stated pardons are not on the table.

I believe that the timing of Bannon’s departure from WH was planned before he got there. About a year in the spotlight was all he had planned in the first place. Trump did not fire him, although this may be the impression he wants to give the corrupt MSM. Bannon will attempt to destroy the Globalists in the WH that are currently exercising their coup against Trump . He will do that through Brietbart. True what Glenn Craig said about the WH press gallery as well.
commented 2017-08-20 09:37:33 -0400
I have a much more optomistic outlook on this. I think the disagreements were overblown by the MSM and that Trump and Bannon mutually agreed that returning to Brietbart would give Trump a better spin on the media generally. This could put leaks much more in Trump’s favour. It also will give Brietbart better placement in the White House press gallery.

Sounds like Steve Bannon’s dismissal was more a personality conflict than an ideological one.
