First Nations men are MORE responsible for missing, murdered Aboriginal women than anyone realizes

Mitch WolfeRebel Blogger

For the last several weeks, the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star have tried desperately to rationalize the expenditure of millions Canadian taxpayer dollars in another wasteful inquiry about the murder and disappearance of female Canadian Indians.

Armed with liberal self-righteousness and blinded by political correctness, the reporters have pored over countless RCMP studies and police reports relating to the disappearance and murder of over 1,000 Canadian female Indians in the last several decades.

Their thesis is that the RCMP and police reports are false, that these legitimate government agencies are fudging the numbers and underestimating the real cause of the murder and disappearance of these unfortunate women.

These self-righteous elitist liberal media organizations believe these women are really being killed, abused, tortured and/or made to disappear by a marauding band of white serial killers, and therefore this phenomenon is not an Indian problem, but a Canadian national problem requiring another wasteful and useless multi-million dollar pro-Indian lawyer/consultant/advisory feeding frenzy fee bonanza.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard the Globe and Toronto Star try to twist the facts, fudge the numbers, omit salient facts and emphasize trivial concerns, the irrefutable fact remains that 70% of female Indian victims are killed, abused, raped and/or made to disappear by male Indians.

Not white serial killers, but men these women know: Husbands, lovers, boyfriends, acquaintances, relatives and members of the Indian reserve.

Note that federal Conservative Party interim leader Rona Ambrose, in a recent Huff Post interview, does not go as far as I do, but she does courageously point the finger at male native leaders for not doing enough to protect the women in their communities.

Unlike Ambrose, I am even prepared to go further. I would say that the number is higher than 70%. I am estimating that another 5%-10% of Indian men are indirectly responsible for the murder, abuse, torture, rape and disappearance of Indian women.

As of result of being abused in the sexist, male-dominated Indian reserve, these vulnerable women flee for a life of drugs and sex work on the streets. This in turn makes them more likely to be abused by non Indian men. But these women would not have fallen into this dangerous lifestyle if they had not been forced to flee the abuse visited upon them by Indian men.

Liberal apologists blame the high number of murdered and missing First Nations women on white privilege, white colonialism, institutional racism, structural racism, unemployment, economic inequality, the residential school legacy -- or possibly climate change.

All these ridiculous theories an attempt to shift the responsibility from male Indians to white Canadian society.

The history of Canada is full of stories of ethnic and religious and racial groups facing racism, unemployment, and inequality. But in none of these racial, ethnic or religious groups are women so systematically abused, tortured, raped, killed and made to disappear.

So what is wrong with the Canadian First Nations culture?

It is time for the Canadian Indian society to look at itself and stop blaming the white man for serious and fundamental problems embedded in the society and culture of these Indians.

‘Once a group of people have been assaulted in a genocidal fashion….
The money to house, feed, clothe, educate and provide medical care natives on reserves comes from the taxpayers.
How do they figure this is genocide. Native men can get empowered by leaving the reserve and getting a job and paying taxes. No one ever promised me that I would not have to leave home.

Turning reserves into municipalities seems like the best thing to do. The modern world is here. Natives can not hide from it forever.

Hitch hiking? Now that is a euphemism.

Maybe the government can put in a law to ban drivers from picking up hitch hikers.

Here are photos from of the missing and murdered aboriginal women. According to CBC, the UN requested an inquiry:

It is about time that ‘Big Indian’ was made to face the truth; that those brave, fat warriors, who strut and preen before any camera that the CBC turns their way, are the same loathsome, scum responsible for the vast majority of the dead nd missing native women. Perhaps, if indian women did not live in fear of reprisal by these same ‘warriors’ they would come forth and tell us exactly how much they fear for their lives and how easily those lives are lost at the hands of their own ‘warriors’. (I struggled to find another descriptive than ‘warrior’ and refuse to call them ‘men’ because ‘men’ do not kill, abuse, torture or otherwise harm women. These are not men.)

This will truly be a total waste of time and money. The libs will throw countless millions at a foregone conclusion, only to have the MSM spin a Robert Pickton story at the end as justification for the extra millions they’ll throw at it to " compensate" the victims families. There will be no resolution, there will be no fix. Only an attempt to blame the white male for all that is wrong in society.

Along with self government comes policing looks like they are an epic fail on both fronts. Natives are still on the its not my fault thought process. Propped up by the msm media. What is this big enquiry going to do NOTHING EXCEPT MAKE SOME LAWYERS MILLIONS. Indians know the problems they refuse to deal with it. Easier to blame it on someone else. Corruption rampant drug addiction, alcoholism, rape, crack dens, the list goes on always someone elses fault. The whole guilt thing doesn’t work on me, they pretty much want to be a welfare nation or they would change.

I feel like signing a petition that says,‘i don’t care, we gave your freeloading ass enough money already’. the only solution the left and the natives can come up with is ‘blame whitey’…again.
cry wolf too much and we won’t care anymore…like me…now.

Jay Kelly. You say, “Indigenous women and girls are killed or disappeared in Canada way out of proportion. Any Canadian should be concerned about that.”
That’s because the number of indigenous women and girls, hitchhiking along country roads where there are no buses and hanging about the streets of some of our cities is way out of proportion. First Nations, the Police and the government already know these facts. What will spending $40,000,000.00 do to change this? I presume the promise to launch an inquiry was made to obtain aboriginal votes.
According to the National Aboriginal Health Organization that no longer exists because its funding was cut, ‘Once a group of people have been assaulted in a genocidal fashion, there are psychological ramifications. In particular, Indigenous men’s difficulties in comprehending and dealing effectively with the source of their own disempowerment has led to a compounding of the problem for Indigenous women and children, who are frequently the targets of men’s raging manifestations of internalized self-hatred. This problem exists in various forms and intensities across the entire economic and social spectrum in First Nations, and in spite of other recent politico-legal advances in the empowerment of First Nations enterprises and governments. Women express colonized mindsets as well, but mainly through self-destructive behaviour. Men tend to channel their rage externally, and as a consequence gendered violence has become endemic within First Nations communities.

What is at issue? Indigenous women and girls are killed or disappeared in Canada way out of proportion. Any Canadian should be concerned about that.
Yes, it makes sense and is obvious that most of these crimes are committed by relatives or ‘friends’. That is a true statistic for murders in Calgary, Montreal, or any city, and true to for any ethnicity. Most are committed inside the group.
It is time that we looked at the causes of these crimes.

I agree Brian, the left are using Aboriginals to bash conservative white males. I really wish all the various groups would wake up and see that each of them are being used by the Left for this reason. The Lefty’s don’t care about women, single moms, gays, trans, Natives or anybody else. In every single case they’re simply using them as battering rams. When they’re of no use or get in the way of some other pet project, like feminists might get in the way of Muslim immigration, they ignore them or throw them under the bus. Each group falls for it, because they think somehow they’re going to end up better off. Oh they might, to a small degree, but they’ll pay for it in other ways down the road.

Disrobing the Native Industry is an excellent book well worth reading.
As for the solving Native issues, turning the reserves into municipalities would go a long way. Something I’m annoyed at Harper for not doing, or at least starting the conversation. This current setup, is not sustainable. It just isn’t.

Oh please, there will be a lot of things that will come from the inquiry. I can already see the recommendations. More funding, less jail time, no spanking, have an aboriginal holiday every month, etc. It will basically be a rehash of the truth and reconciliation recommendations.

In spite of the billions handed over to the reserves, why have so many of these peoples’ lives not improved. Something is wrong with this picture& nothing is done about it. That’s why being transparent about the money made such good sense, because then finally, the lives of these people would start to improve. Instead of the inquiry on the murdered aboriginal women (which has already been established) start investigating the chiefs & how these reservations are run. These poorly run reservations are nothing but bottomless pits for free money & no one is accountable. What a disgrace & travesty & the hard working taxpayer lets this go on for fear of being called a racist. In reality, who is the racist & who is being discriminated here.

This inquiry is going to cost taxpayers $40M & nothing new will be discovered. These crimes were investigated by police & RCMP & 70% of them were solved. Most of the perpetrators were aboriginal. According to them though, whatever is wrong or goes wrong, the white man is always to blame because we are all racists, however, the chiefs have no problem accepting the billions handed out to them & with Trudeau at the helm now, there will not be any transparency whatsoever as to how the money is spent. Many of the reserves are run honestly, but many are not, but what the hell, it’s only money!!!!
The $40M being spent would go a long way to bring clean water & indoor plumbing.

Why do I have this feeling that all these lefties and liberals who are demanding this MMW inquiry are all in the AGW crowd too.?

It would be cheaper to give every Canadian Indian a million dollars each. With a " no come back to the well" clause. They could do whatever they wanted, but will all be broke in 5 years.

Here’s an account of the goings on at the Makwa Sahgaiehcan Reserve where 2 toddlers burned to death last February because they didn’t pay their fire protection bill (about $3,400.00) to the neighboring town of Loon Lake, while 3 Makwa councilors by the name of Mitsuing received a total of about $360.000.00 in compensation for one year. Because of the Trudeau government, this financial information won’t be available to the public. The comments from the readers are just as interesting as the story:—mitsuing-truck-fire-fighting-toddlers.html

The liberals pay the indian leaders millions and then brag to the media party about all the good they do.

There is no trickle down of cash to the indian masses and therefore they starve/commit crimes.

The indian ministry is kick back scheme for the politicians, vendors and indian chiefs to the tune of billions per year of taxpayer dollars.

One word answer. LIBRANOS!!!

Not surprised and, besides, are not most Bands not policed with their own police.

They are sure trying to pin this on the white man, but we all know the truth. The truth is that this little exercise allows the UN’s intrusion, through the Liberal government’s hostile legal system, to keep the Indians stuck in poverty, and to keep those rich chiefs living in the lap of luxury, at the expense of their people. Which is the intent of Junior’s stupidity at stopping the good things that PM Harper did to help the Indians. Junior’s legacy is going to be bloody and brutal like those dictators that our fool PM worships.

I don’t see aboriginal people being willing to take responsibility for their actions. I remember when the film, Black Robe came out, showing Hurons torturing a priest. There was a huge outcry from the native community saying they never did that kind of thing. Of course they did. Just read the testimonies of white people who were captured by Indians back in the day or Google the subject. Here are some excerpts from Wikipedia: “Common torture techniques included burning the captive, which was done one hot coal at a time. Prisoners’ fingernails were ripped out. Captives were made to eat pieces of their own flesh, and were scalped alive. The execution of a captive, especially an adult male, could take several days and nights”.
It will be the same with the Missing and Murdered Women investigation. If the inquiry finds that aboriginal men are as responsible for crimes against native women as non aboriginal men are for crimes against non-aboriginal women, there will be an outcry from the native community.
Carolyn Bennett took issue with Bernard Valcourt’s statement to the Ottawa Citizen last year when he said that some aboriginal men have a “lack of respect” toward women on reserves and that a national inquiry wouldn’t accomplish anything. She said, “I think it was appalling in terms of blame". I think it doesn’t deal with the effects of colonization. It doesn’t deal with the effects of child abuse.”
So, how is this inquiry going to go? I’d be very surprised to see that kind of information end up in a report.
We have a situation where aboriginal girls and women are assaulted by the men in their lives. Young girls are groomed for the sex trade on the reserves so that they can work in the cities. The police are racist to some degree as is mainstream society. These women don’t have a chance. There need to be safe residences in the cities for them to live in and the 40,000,000.00 that this inquiry will cost might better be put towards that. The MMW inquiry will do one thing. It will honor the memory of girls and women who were murdered and this should make their families feel better. And it will shine a light on the problem. But I doubt that the inquiry will really change anything.

It’s incredible… the truth commission was compiled over 6 years of the Harper Government, and released a couple weeks after young trudeau ascended…. and he takes all the credit?… And then, ‘liberals’ do away with accountability for First Nations Bands, lets them hide their spending, etc…. it’s disgusting. First Nations chiefs do not necessarily represent their band members… and with this devolution to secrecy policies, it’s similar to the Rajs of India.. it was a way for the British to control the indigenous population though the used of unaccountable chiefs. Ironically, lefties claim that they are for openness and against colonialism… but with Castro, Lenin, Trudeau and the others, always watch what they do and never listen to what they say. On a side note, lefties tell us that Canada’s image was destroyed… they mainly based this on the opinions of ~30 Arab nations and ~60 dictatorships who disliked Canada’s objection to their bullying tactics… and then today, Kim Jong Un of North Korea is slagging trudeau… I’m not going to make a big deal of it because who cares what evil depots think of us.. the point is that let’s see shiny pony and others declare that we don’t care what North Korea has to say about us.. let’s see their sheer duplicity manifest again.

Most Canadians never even see the conditions on a reserve, particularly the more remote reserves where these problems seem commonplace. The substance abuse, child abuse, domestic disturbances, the infighting, the poverty, the sloth, the racism (yes, natives can be very racist), the corruption. Nobody sees the bottles of hairspray littered on the streets because they drink it in lieu of alcohol, or hears the news kids going blind from drinking anti-freeze or die or get brain damage from drinking methanol (yes, I said kids), let alone the rampant number of cases of fetal alcohol syndrome, or in some cases gangs (e.g. Indian Posse) that bring in the new scourge of crystal meth. Urban lefties don’t wish to dispel their image of the ‘noble savage’ and try to find any means to purge their “white guilt.” And now Trudeau’s liberals have intimated that the RCMP did a poor job at best, a cover-up at worst (not that their union still won’t support the Liberals), whilst at the same time repealing the Financial Transparency Act, which will only keep the Chiefs in mansions while the rest of the band members suffer (like the $90 million spent on Attiwapiskat) leaving the FN once again unaccountable for all the money poured their way, and once again none of it used for the betterment of all.

This article hits the nail on the head! No! It is not politically correct. Rather it is simply factually correct. IF ANY STUDY is to take place, it must begin with the Indian Reserves and the cultural environment that, at the very least, leads these young ladies to demean themselves and live the life that leads to the dangers they face on the streets of the towns and cities. Then it has to look into the Urban Reserves and the gangs like the Indian Posse which are largely responsible for the abuse of these young Indian girls and ladies. Once these sources have been stringently and seriously evaluated without prejudice or bias (as exists in the liberal left-wing excuse for a mind), then there can be an evaluation of the low-life white men who take advantage of the corrupt culture and “ownership” of these women that emanates from the Indian Reserves and Urban Reserve gangs.

Of course, the left-wing liberal politicians, being as dishonest as they are, do not wish to undertake this kind of a study as it will clearly show that the problem emanates, not from whitey, but from the corrupt culture that exists on many Reserves and the total collapse of the family in the Indian Culture that leads to these young girls and ladies being drawn into the dangerous lifestyle in a vain attempt to escape said corruption.

BTW, this is not based upon theory. Rather this thought structure is from experiential data collected during a professional career that involved working with the Reserves and their people – many of them fine intelligent human beings.
