In first UN speech, Trudeau delivers “Pinterest platitudes” to almost empty hall

Brian LilleyArchive

Yesterday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau delivered his first speech to the UN. How did it go? Well, the Liberals used to make fun of the sparse attendance at Harper's UN addresses, but it looks like Trudeau wasn't able to attract a much bigger audience.

What about substance?

Well, the speech sounded like it had been written by a bored staffer who grabbed some inspirational platitudes from Pinterest.

And of course, it was all delivered by Trudeau in his best patronizing "I'm telling you a story, boys and girls" voice.

He didn't much look like a great statesman on the world stage.

This man is the owner of a weak mind . . . and if you heard Obama speak at the same venue . . . they both come from a “Parallel Universe” . . . where their “Hopes and Dreams” become REALITY to them !

As a Canadian, I’m soooo embarrassed that he is Our Dear Leader.
