Politicians love to virtue signal, particularly our federal government where aside from the Prime Minister, our biggest virtue signaller is our Climate Barbie, Environment Minister, Catherine McKenna.
McKenna loves to brag that she bikes to work, as we saw from pictures of her posing with her bike, despite the dress and high heels.
It certainly makes sense for McKenna to use her bicycle since she’s the MP for Ottawa Centre, and she probably should be cycling to work at Parliament Hill every day, but does she?
Well, not exactly.
Watch as I share what I discovered in an Access to Information request that shows despite McKenna living and representing the very riding where Parliament Hill is located, she managed to rack up just shy of 24,000 KM on her vehicle in the first nine months of last year.
After considering a few possibilities, I’m left without answers as to how and where Climate Barbie racked up all those kilometres in just nine months, but I suppose it’s obvious:
Like all anti-fossil fuel advocates you hear and see on TV or at protests, this virtue signalling cabinet minister won’t give up her own lifestyle of taxpayer funded luxury.
Instead she’ll just levy a carbon tax on everything to satisfy the Liberal Party’s fossil fuel gluttony.
