David MenziesMission Specialist

Thousands of Ford Nation fanatics turned out to Doug Ford’s annual Ford Fest BBQ on Saturday in Woodbridge.

And the vast majority gave the newly-minted premier an A+ grade for his leadership so far.

Yeah sure Nikkie…. So when the visiting team rolls into town and beats the home team 76 to 40, that’s considered a “close game”? Let me guess – your eyes are “brown”?
commented 2018-09-26 17:59:54 -0400
Andy,

I am not tap dancing anything. Yes, it was considered a close race because the NDP doesn’t usually get 40, but again – it would have been the same outcome if Patrick Brown was leader or Christine Elliott, etc.

Nothing about Doug Ford put the PC party over the top. In fact the NDP did as well as they did, because of a Doug Ford backlash.

You’re still “tap dancing” Nikkie!… You said – quote – “which is why many voted for the NDP and they almost won against Doug Ford.”….. So a final tally of 76 PC and 40 NDP is still “almost won” in your “agile” mind???

Andy,

On JUNE 7TH, 2018 (not June 28th) – I was on Earth where Doug Ford won and the NDP became the opposition, which would have been the same result if Patrick Brown was still leader.

That’s right Liza Rosie… And both accounts are on two different planets… I must confess I am “impressed” by the brazen bullshit being trotted out hourly by Nicholas Conklin in some bizarre attempt to deny recent history… Which planet were you on the morning of June 28th, 2018 Nikkie???
commented 2018-09-25 23:28:20 -0400
I swear Jimmy has two accounts going at the same time.
commented 2018-09-25 20:00:02 -0400
Andy,

Planet Earth. Doug Ford barely even won against Christine Elliott too.
commented 2018-09-25 17:43:11 -0400
To quote Conklin:- “which is why many voted for the NDP and they almost won against Doug Ford.”??? On which planet was that? I must have missed it…

Even Ezra thinks it’s a joke that Faith Goldy is running for mayor. She’s a white supremacist and has zero chance.

Liza,

Wynne would have been decimated by Patrick Brown too.

Wynne losing had nothing to do with Doug Ford. Liberals wanted a new leader and knew they had to take a fall this election, which is why many voted for the NDP and they almost won against Doug Ford.
commented 2018-09-25 10:21:07 -0400
Nicholas, 8,000? I doubt it.
When Wynne was trounced the entire left wing agenda was trounced. People were sick of it and voted. I can’t believe Horvath is even in politics, she has really shown her colours of late. Looks like she should have paid better attention at home if you ask me, same with Wynne. Not exactly ‘mother or wife of the year’ material, either of them. They didn’t do both very well by the looks of it. Both an embarrassment to their sex. I’m hard on them because they make women look bad.

Faith getting pointers on how to run a city from guess who?
Eat your heart out Tory, the Stepford wife and the unknown candidates. Ignore this.

I hope Faith pulls it off and is elected mayor. She would keep those tongues wagging and their feet to the fire!
commented 2018-09-25 08:56:33 -0400
Andy,

If she was putting on a BBQ and invited the whole city to come for free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks, then absolutely! There would be tons of people there as well.

Newsflash – people like free food. Especially those that don’t know where their next meal is going to come from.
commented 2018-09-25 02:10:56 -0400
Oh stop it Nikkie Conklin – you’re such a sentimental fool!… And I suppose they’re also having weenie roasts in Hamilton right now to support Andrea Horwath??

Paul Givens advised, " Remember to join political parties, so you can pick the leader. "

Paul, that’s what I thought I was doing in the Federal Conservative Leadership when I picked Bernier. I didn’t know that the Dairy Cartel and Sheer would fix the vote.

Ford turned out to be even better than I ever expected. As a party member I voted for him and also in the election. :-)
P.S. Remember to join political parties, so you can pick the leader.

I still revel in the fact that Ford stayed in a Trump Hotel in Washington; would Scheer? That decision will go along way with Trump’s Govt.

Peter Netterville said, "Next is to get the UCP running Alberta even though Kenny leans in the CINO direction, still better than Notley by several orders of magnitude. "

Peter, good comment, in fact Ezra said last week that he likes Kenney, he only worries that he leans towards the Liberals sometimes.
I also like Kenney’s qualifications, although I worry that he is prone to visit Mosques too often. I guess we all can’t be wrong, but I hope so.

Maybe that was UCP, not UPC. Meh.

Liza said, “I’m sure the more Doug succeeds the more the left will revile him.”

That’s a given. They already revile him for breathing air.

Next is to get the UPC running Alberta even though Kenny leans in the CINO direction, still better than Notley by several orders of magnitude.

Keep in mind, Doug Ford killed the liberals in the election, but not the NDP. It wasn’t a slam dunk for Doug.

Honestly a lot of people go to the Ford Fest’s over the years for free food and drink. It’s not all true Ford supporters.

I don’t think Ford has the support yet to be PM. I think he would have lost again if he was still running for Toronto Mayor against John Tory.
commented 2018-09-24 22:00:42 -0400
How many of those Doug Ford supporters will be voting for Justin?
That’s a lot of very happy people and somehow I doubt any of them will be voting liberal. I’m really happy for Ontario. A little sanity goes a long way. They have been ruled by lunatics for years.
I’m sure the more Doug succeeds the more the left will revile him.
commented 2018-09-24 20:01:53 -0400
Keith, let him fix Ontario first, then move on to PM.

Doug Ford needs to run for Prime Minister at the earliest possible opportunity.
