Ford “kingmaker” Tanya Granic Allen happy to see an end to Wynne’s “hateful” anti-family policies

David MenziesMission Specialist

Doug Ford kingmaker and former Mississauga Centre candidate Tanya Granic Allen insists she’s elated that the PC Party will be forming a majority government — even though she won’t be part of it.

Watch as she explains why she thinks the PC victory last night was great news for Ontario families whether she’s working from inside the government or not.

What a gracious lady! I’m so glad she’s on the “right” side.

I suspect that she will be part of the new government in some way, likely in the education ministry. Now that Mr. Ford has sidestepped the media hatefest that would have descended on the party with regard to her comments, he is free to entertain the idea of her participation. I hope he is able to add such an intelligent, articulate talent to his administration.

How kind of Tanya to do that interview with the rebel. I hope she continues to come on the rebel.

For somebody that endured what she went through, she sure is taking it well. I hope that Tanya pulls those wind turbines out of the ground.

Tanya has a hell of a lot more grace and class than I think I might have under the circumstances. But, of course she’s right. Now is not the time to let one’s emotions rule their head. Fix the Wynne mess first. You can always have a pity party later if you want, but I suspect Tanya isn’t the type.

Nnaumbua Farrell….I think you are correct in that we will see Tanya in an important job , maybe an advisor to Ford. She won’t get in the Cabinet as you have to be an elected MLA.
She seems to already know her above future as that is the reason that she still speaks highly of Ford.

A good interview. Worrying that the Conservatives showing the same intolerance we expect of the left. Thanks David Menzies from New Zealand. We want to see that Islamist idiot Trudeau gone soon. Only if Trudeau goes can Canada be saved, but once the Islam level reaches so much it is all over.

Ted Tadwright: I agree. I voted for Tanya.
I’ve followed her on the sex-ed curriculum on her PAFE website (parent as first educators) since it began.
She is the most logical person to be appointed as Minister of Education given her experience with this subject and the fact that she has heard everything the parents have been saying. She has the most information and experience.

Intelligent woman. I hope Ford doesn’t miss this opportunity.

He had also remove that ridiculous Bubble Zone from abortion clinics. That bill was designed to target Christians and pro-life advocates. It is discriminating toward those who are pro-life and those who hold religious beliefs.

Ford could also make her a part of his staff.
commented 2018-06-08 21:36:55 -0400
Ford should and can legally put her in cabinet. He’s a fool if he doesn’t. She’s incredibly loyal to him despite his betrayal and genuinely likes him unlike others who will be in cabinet. She’ll help keep him honest and in touch with his base.

Tanya is a keeper…I don’t doubt Doug has plans for her.

Maybe Premier Doug Ford can give a shot in the arm for Mr. Scheer…

Yes Tanya would be a great deal of help and back up…

Without Tanya having thrown her support behind Ford in the PC leadership race, he wouldn’t have won the leadership and he wouldn’t have been elected Ontario Premier. It’s that simple. Tanya made it possible.

Tanya should either be made Energy Minister or Education Minister (MPP or not) or at least be given the task of writing the new sex ed program for Ontario public schools. The Ontario public knows that they can trust her to not morally corrupt Ontario’s children or indoctrinate them in ways they shouldn’t be, at a very young age.

Premier-elect Doug Ford, please do the right thing, the thing you know Ontarians want, concerning Tanya and concerning Ontario’s children. You have been entrusted by many to clean up the mess that was made by the last few Ontario governments and Tanya is the person who will do it. You know she cares deeply for the children, so please put her in charge of writing the new sex ed program and/or make her Education Minister.

Iain Foulds wouldn’t it be nice if we could leave the left to their own devices and it had no effect on the rest of us?

Ron, Scheer knows that his wimp act just won’t cut it anymore.

Tanya looks and sounds like Ministerial material, to me. I’m sure PPM Ford will only pick the best.

Here is the funniest comment of the day:
Andrew Scheer told CBC that, “Ford is his new alley on getting rid of the Carbon Tax.”
All indications were that Andrew loved the Carbon Tax.

Not only did Tanya make Doug Ford’s premiership possible, she is also very bright and right on the issues, particularly education and energy. Ford must give her a position that she is suited to in this government.

Ontario is lucky to have Tanya Granic Allen on any level. She is a jewel.
She’s right, it has been hateful against children and families under Wynne. Bill 89 has got to go, along with the sex ed curriculum.
I can’t believe Doug didn’t even call her. I;m disappointed in him on this front.
commented 2018-06-08 17:13:02 -0400
… Granic will soon be in the government. Ford’s decision was best for getting the party in the door. Now it is full steam ahead with the conservative renewal.
… The Left agenda is anti-family. Ultimately, it is anti-life.

Tanya displays class unlike the classless NDP candidates like disgruntled losing anti-poppy NDP Candidate Laura Kaminker who dismissed the majority of Ontario voters who, not having voted for her, “believed a lie and voted against their own interests”.

Great interview with Granic Allen David. We will have to see what happens, but I don’t think Ford will forget her.
commented 2018-06-08 16:37:16 -0400
Shocked that Ford never spoke with Allen regarding her getting the boot. Sounds like Ford’s being manipulated by someone scheming to destroy the right-wing base. He should re-examine keeping the advisor that told him to not even speak with her. Tsk tsk
commented 2018-06-08 16:32:29 -0400
What happened to Tanya was an attempt of leftists to discredit the Conservatives. It would seem Ontario voters saw through the ruse…………..
