Ford's private sector cannabis plan triggers public sector unions

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, guest-host David Menzies reported on the reaction of the Ontario Public Sector Employees Union (OPSEU) to Premier Doug Ford's plan to allow cannabis to be sold by private retailers.

Ford's decision isn't surprising, he floated the idea during the campaign as an alternative to former Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne's plan to limit distribution to government-run outlets. Wynne said she feared the idea of marijuana being "sold next to candy bars", but her policies were soundly rejected in the election.

Unfortunately, unlike the Ontario Liberals, OPSEAU is here to stay and they're already launching a fear campaign.

WATCH my video to see why the private sector is more trustworthy than government-run retail outlets.

Go for it Doug, You will be the winner in the long run.
All the Libbers ever do is create the forbidden fruit and then tax the hell out of us when we purchase it…..Ice cold beer. Only to be drunk in bed, and with the wheels removed from your car. Yes you have to beware of the zero tolerance Cops because you will have to pay a tax on your fines.

Andrew, you really need to put your hyperbolic nature under the microscope, ask your therapist for assistance with this. "

Ad-hominem? LOL. So you know I’m right. Does that make you angry?

Competition is the healthiest thing in any Business circumstance or application… The Ontario liquor board / marijuana drug dealers should be allowed to run but they should be allowed competition from the private sector to operate right beside them so they can offer better deals on liquor and longer hours and let the public decide which way the unions should go. People have long since forgotten that it’s “we the people” not the they the government that runs the show… When the government fears the people you have liberty when the people fear the government you have tyranny.!!

Go Premier Ford, go!

OPSEAU, and most unions, have overstepped their mandates and have become fascists in the process. Their greed is one reason why prices are so high; and yet they are never satisfied and always have their hands out demanding more. If you don’t give it to them they have a strike (tantrum) and disrupt everyone’s lives. If minimum wage goes up; so do their wages thus negating any advancement of the non-union work places and driving the cost of living ever higher. That is why they will stoop to releasing false statements. This most recent statement is easily disproved.

Either all vocations should have unions; or none should.

I’m thrilled Doug has found a practical use for his extensive experience in the field of drug retail.
