Doug Ford works at "business speed" to cut Toronto council

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, guest-host David Menzies reported on the reaction of Toronto politicians to Ontario Premier Doug Ford cutting the size of city council from a planned 47 down to 25.

Mayor John Tory and left-wing city councillors like Mike Layton are complaining that Ford is moving too quickly and didn't consult the public, but that's because they're accustomed to the slow speed of government bureaucracies.

Ford's government is cut from a different cloth and moves at the speed of business. The next municipal election is still three months away, in the private sector that's an eternity.

John Kervin left wing politicians never care what the people they are supposed to be working for want. They would never dare do such a thing.

We’ll see if Ford is going to work at business speed when OFA, CFFO, NFU, and Grain Farmers Ontario go whining to him for crop risk management programs and more money for corn-sourced ethanol. They’re already in full moan mode.

I do believe ford should become the leader of the neutered { without balls } Scheer party and become Canada’s next PM ,he could be our Donald trump ,and john you make a good point that’s why our slimy politicians never want to have referendums as what they want as opposed to what the people want are totally opposite .

Toronto Council – include your “enlarged council” as a referendum item in your next civic election and see what your taxpayers REALLY want.
