Forum poll: Wynne desperately unpopular with Ontarians but Patrick Brown an unknown quantity

Brian LilleyArchive

A bit of good news and a bit of bad news comes from the latest Forum Research poll on Ontario’s political parties and their leaders. Premier Wynne’s favourability ratings are at historical lows. But, nobody knows PC leader Patrick Brown

Watch to find out what else the poll numbers say and to hear my advice for Patrick Brown.

Watching Patrick Brown defeat Christine Elliott for the leadership of the PCPO, from four provinces west of Ontario, I too had high hopes that he would break the mould of mediocrity and be a return to the Harris days… He even seemed to have a good party apparatus that drew many minority groups to sign up for the party… But he seems to have peaked at that party convention and ever since has been, sigh, a wimp… His carbon tax musings have been a real blow… Given the almost daily examples of Winnie The Poo’s madness and imperious “let them eat cake” pronouncements, Brown should have had more than enough opportunities to blast WTP out of the water on almost any issue and every day… But he has not, and seems incapable of doing so… Pity…

Actually Patrick Brown is known, and they know him as just another Politically Correct “Progressive” Tim Hudak, Stephen Harper, Brian Mulroney, Joe Clark Conservative, not a Politically Incorrect Rebel Conservative. which is the reason why Brown is not popular as he should be.

Who cares about wynntario – it is now for the most part a slum of people in the Toronto GTA and Ottawa.

Quite frankly the people are nothing but a bunch of political cowards and have let that province become for the most part nothing more than a third world country. You should see the number and size of the mosques going up in that province.

Time to cut them loose with kebec and let them form their own waste of space – because that province is going to be a mill stone around canadallah’s neck for generations.

Donald Allan well said, the one part i will enjoy will be seeing the Toronto idiots getting beat and controlled by the COMING TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD sharia patrols and then finding out the cops do not care and no one will speak out as a witness as they are all liberal cowards like them. It will be one bit of satisfying reality.

If Rona Ambrose is not running for PM, maybe she could run for Ontario Premier.
Jason Kenney in Alberta, Rona Ambrose in Ontario…maybe more.

Yes, I also gave up on Brown. He’s just a Liberal dressed in blue. I’ll have nothing to do with the Provincial Conservative as long as he is there. I’m also waiting to see if the Federal party will elect a Conservative or a fake Liberal.

Ramadan Bombathon 2016 Day number 19

Muslims often insist that other religions are just as violent as theirs and that the bigger problem is “Islamophobia”.
We put that narrative to the rest each Ramadan with a running count of ALL terror attacks categorized by motive.

Motive – Terror in the name of Islam………………..Attacks = 147….….Kills = 1063
Motive – All other religions combined …………….Attacks = 0…………Kills = 0
Motive – By Islamophobes…………………………….Attacks = 0…………Kills = 0

Doesn’t this Brown character look completely out of his league, just another parasite no-nothing, way beyond his league.

Carbon tax are evil, garbage crap from the left wing politicians who want to steal from us even more than they already are. Anyone who mentions carbon tax should be taken out of office immediately.

I’ll paraphrase something MAC CUMMING wrote on this blog about three weeks ago: I’ll never again vote for a politician who doesn’t have the guts and honesty to call out this climate change scam for what it is.

Me too.

I have nearly always voted Conservative. When they came out with this carbon tax thing they just lost me. I know I am not the only one feeling this way.

As always Brian, great commentary. Patrick has Danniele Smith written all over him. Sad that the Ontario conservatives couldn’t have some gonnads (sorry girls, but I’ve met some girls that meet that criteria ) and selected him as a leader.
Loser from the get go

Donald, Bill, David great thoughts, I have to agree.

I find it absolutely pathetic that any percentage of the population in Ontario would back windbag. That said, I guess there’s the likes of the teachers union, another pathetic bunch.

Okay Ontario, do something, light a fire under the Conservatives, if Brown doesn’t drop the nonsense about a carbon tax, kick his butt so far out he’ll never be heard from again. You certainly don’t want windbag back, you’re going to be scarred for life now. If any of you are thinking about the ndp have a close look at Alberta and what’s going on there, more of the same, with a different name on it.

Brown is most likely paid off by Wynne’s people as part of the single party system in Ontario.

The last threat to Ontario’s single party system was Mike Harris and he sold off the 407 unobstructed for millions in kickback.

It was common knowledge that Hudak was paid handsomely by Wynne to make “windmills Ontario” a success for Wynne and a blight on SW Ontario – although it remains a completely stupid idea.

None of this matters.

When global economic collapse comes, Wynne, Brown, homer simpson – it doesn’t matter who’s in charge – it’s going to be fugly!!!!

I posted a rant on here a couple months ago about Brown’s mention of support of some form of carbon taxation. As far as I’m concerned any person vying for any conservative government post in Canada in any jurisdiction who agrees to any form of carbon taxation should be disqualified…… as if that could happen. So poor Ontario is stuck in the mire. You CAN NOT re-elect Witch#1, and the NDP have proven that they should NEVER win election anywhere, any time. Just look at their track record when Canadians made those few mistakes and put them in. Here in Alberta the horror is unfolding before our eyes. Surely Ontarians haven’t forgotten the follies of good ol Bobby Rae!!! So maybe Ontario is stuck with Brown. The best you can do is get on his case now and hope he can be groomed down a somewhat more palatable path for Ontario voters. Probably he is the best of a trio of bad choices…. HELP

DJBT, STPC, and the 2 witches

Brown is no c/Conservative. Like Redford, Sandra Jensen and Prab Gill he is a Liberal progressive sent to infiltrate the party and take it down from within. The guy is but a panderer just like Trudeau. Not about the people he claims to represent or care about. Another walking ego with no substance. Federal Conservatives keep telling us that they are revamping the party to win the next election. I don’t know if they will ever get it – they did not lose, the media and foreign lobby funding won it for little Turd. Period.

Donald Allan – Great critical appraisal of the Ontario political enigma.

I believe, like you, that GTA politics and the vested parasitic interests which control it are leading that province down the flusher. They will have to experience collapse before it gets better (if at all)

I feel sorry for the once thriving resource sector in the north who really have no say in Ont. leadership due to GTA numbers nullifying their influence in public policy. I always maintained that Northern Ontario should have been a separate jurisdiction from the south.

We keep calling it Ontario but it isn’t the province we grew up in, period. The GTA is a massive voting block that like most big cities favors everthing liberal big including governemnt services in excess. Only total financial collapse like many of the big American cities will change the trajectory.
As for Brown. Irrespective of his quasi-liberal attitudes, he is just another in the line of “WHEENIES” that the PC Party has chosen as leader. No charisma, no passion, no connection with the electorate. But obviously the party elite are happy with him which means it is their agenda and not the agenda or choice of the common Ontarian that lives outside the castle city.
Wynne is a socialist/Marxist who along withg her party is driving the province, the Province of Winniezuela into financial ruin.
But what alternative do we have? Brown? Sorry but he just doesn’t enthuse me .

Brown is a liberal in disguise and is thoroughly immersed in pandering to the lowest denominator…. sadly, like obama, is completely in love with himself and photo ops.

Can you say “carbon tax”?

That’s all it takes for a BIG FAT ‘NO!’.

Yesterday Britons summoned up enough self respect to reject Euro-styled klepto-socialism and avoid the dictatorial austerity it always results in, – perhaps there is hope for Ontario to do like wise.

I agree that a man like Patrick Brown is not the man to lead a patriotic resurgence of self respect in the Ontario electorate – In Britain it to a great statesman like Nigel Farage to accomplish this – Brown is NOT a Nigel Farage

this Brown twerp begins with pissing up my back with a carbon tax. I wouldn’t even consider a back-stabbing little prick like him as a viable candidate. he’ll cross the floor. he’s a rat.

Patrick Brown like Trudeau, has his head up the asses of the Muslims! WE don’t need another pro terrorist, pro Islamic MOhammed at the helm !!!
