Fox Finally Speaks Up About Apu ‘Controversy’

Martina MarkotaRebel Contributor

Remember the recent Apu ‘controversy’? It seems that people are offended by a comical depiction of an Indian man, but not offended by The Simpsons’ depictions of ‘hillbillies’ and British people.

The drama didn’t end for months, with people calling for the show to change the character, and pressuring the voice actor who plays Apu into kowtowing and appeasing. But Fox has finally broken their silence, chiming in and saying they’re leaving the decision down to the show’s production team.

Apu is hilarious, and there is nothing more offensive to the terminally political-correct crowd than humour.
Really, really glad I don’t have that problem.

Modern SJW’s are such snowflakes, they have so little regard for their heritage that they can’t take a joke, pathetic.

Oh for the days of John Morgan, of Air Farce, who used to portray the grumpy old dour Scottish curmudgeon, Jock McBile. Of course that was when Air Farce was actually worth watching.

What do you mean that entertainment will become boring? It has been for quite a while.

Everything must be PC, unless its about the Trumps or conservatives.

Apu is ONE Hindu who happens to own a convenience store. That is his life, no one else’s. If you are bent on saying it stereotypes all Hindu’s then it is YOU that is being racist. Yes YOU, aren’t you ashamed?
