French Voters in London: “Anyone but Le Pen”

Caolan RobertsonArchive

With exit polls showing Marine Le Pen has lost in the presidential election to globalist candidate Macron, it looks set to be an interesting presidency.

We caught up with voters as they cast their ballots today and found that many of them were less than enthusiastic about the President-Elect, calling him "bad" to Le Pen's "worse".

Despite being unable to tell the Rebel UK why Le Pen was so "horrible", it seems the liberal French elite in London can at least celebrate her defeat, if they won't be celebrating his victory.

Regardless of what smug Media types rejoicing in Le Pen’s defeat she did move the whole ruling spectrum of France to the right – with a centrist PM and conservative opposition and all old line socialist parties decimated.

The French made a terrible mistake by voting macaroon. He’s going to bend over and take Islam up the @$$ every day. Europe needed someone like La’Pen , it’s a dam shame they couldn’t open their eyes and see the truth. Rip France 💔

Edward Jobin, thank you for your thoughtful response. Keep up the good work! Your voice needs to be heard.

The important thing is that, Little Trudie Tater Tot will be relieved that Le Pen did not win the election. He would not be able to handle a second Trump type personality interfering with his globalist agenda. Let’s just hope we don’t make the same mistake as France, as we would be making it for a second time come 2019 if we put Trudie back in power. The upside to him getting a second term, would be we would never have to vote in any more elections, as we will be enjoying the fruits of Totalitarian Sharia Law by the end of his second time in office. Canada will be OVER and we will be enslaved or dead. That’s how close we are now, France just jumped way ahead in the race toward Extinction. I’m sure Trudie will now step up his game, as you all know, he’s always working very hard.

Jay Kelly: I disagree and yes I have contacted a number of mainstream media outlets and only once received a confirmation of an issue I sent (C.N.N.) on the topic how fear of being labelled Islamophobic caused the British police to look the other way over the Muslim rape gangs as hundreds of victims continued. But I have contacted others on the issue of labelling everyone far right. I expressed that myself and many others like me are not racists, nor white supremacists or Nazis and in fact many of our forefathers fought these ideologies. I don’t think all Muslims are terrorists but I do question mass migration without proper vetting and I think many of the people in this forum would agree with me but no response from any of them. They choose to focus on the few loud mouth extremists to paint us all that way for political reasons and understandably in the C.B.C’s case they know who butters the bread. I think they are acting deceitfully and doing a terrible disservice to the truth. Interestingly an article I read today suggested that the German foreign Minister expressed dismay that La Pen got so many votes on the far right. That’s because being concerned about terrorism isn’t far right when your security can’t keep tabs on the sheer quantity of potential violent extremists living within your borders.

That’s funny. Le Pen seemed to be the ONLY candidate who DIDN’T want to have to extend emergency powers indefinitely. But oh sure, she’s the radical, dangerous one…So Macron…how and when will you revoke the state of emergency? ’Cause you know, nothing says civilized bliss than the sight of a six year old girl swinging in the middle of a park in Paris with a couple of guys toting machine guns behind her in the sweet spring air…(and of course the migrant defecating in the bushes), Ah! Gay Paris!

Tammie said, "I agree with your points and would add to the Yes column, they allow political correctness to blind them and practice selective hearing; the whole ignorance is bliss will be shattered as more Islamic and Marxist violence is visited upon them. "

Yes, absolutely correct. It’s funny. I was thinking that when I typed but chose not to mention that aspect. Good point.

ALLAN PETERSON

In truth ‘Communism is dead’ etc, was a quote from the Gatestone Institute. I did point this out at the end of my comment.

When it comes to France, it’s hard to beat Ted Nugent’s reply to a silly question from British journalist Robert Chalmers:

Chalmers: “What do these deer think when they see you coming?” Here comes the nice guy who puts out our dinner? Or, there’s the man that shot my brother?”

Nugent: “I don’t think they’re capable of either of those thoughts, you Limey asshole. They’re only interested in three things: the best place to eat, having sex and how quickly they can run away. Much like the French.”

People here keep saying the French get the government they deserve.

Yes … and no.

No: When they are deceived by a media that reports lies and half truths to twist news to suit their socialist/globalist agenda, then the people are mislead. They are lied to. They cannot make an informed decision about which candidate to choose because they do not have all the information.

Yes: It is also up to the people to make a point to seek out other side of the story on the issues that concern their country and their election. The people are lazy and too trusting of the main stream media.

If the media reported in an unbiased manner as the principles of journalism demand the news of both sides of any issue equally and fairly, then I firmly believe that the people would choose Marine Le Pen.

“What the hell is happening in this world?? Has everyone gone mad???”

Yes, yes they have. It is called spiritual blindness.
“Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.” Does this have the ring of truth given our current world events? Sure does to me.

For this re
How about this one? “For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

What we are seeing is God’s judgement on the Western world who have turned their back on Him. God’s greatest judgements are simply giving people what they ask for. Like Hell.

KEITH BARNES commented 14 hours ago:
“In the 21st century, Communism is finally dead…” Sorry, Keith but this is not so. The Soviet Union and its satellite states are dead. Communism is alive and well and living under the name of Globalism and Antifa and in your local university and school.

Communism like all its left leaning brethren is on a continuous course of “reinventing” itself for public consumption of the addled-headed trendoids looking for the latest so-called “relevant” issue. They call themselves names that are completely misleading (progressives) and they call their opponents names that are completely misleading (fascists). Please take the time to watch the video link that Hyacinth posted for the whole story in brief.

As Ernest Manning said years ago, if the people haven’t suffered enough it tis their God-given right to suffer some more. The problem is that they will not be recovering from their mistakes like they have in the past. The Calipjhate will ensure a blood bath that will make the world wars look like romper room.

Hyancinth, thank you for posting the link. It was written 17 years ago, and is still what I would consider very relevant to what we are seeing in today’s world. Political Correctness has a long history, and as the author pointed out, the left is to heavily criticize and deconstruct Western civilization; blind to the Marxist failures of the past and in modern times. Ask these haters to step away from victimhood mentality for a time, in order to closely look at Venezuela or North Korea for example, they will deflect or hurl incorrect labels at you. The other group that hates Western civilization is making headway in undermining democratic nations from within.

Marxists will defend Islam and overlook the hatred and violence of the followers who perpetuate Mohammad’s prescription for a world-wide caliphate. The left will tolerate subjugation of women; FGM; human rights violations in Islamic states & in enclaves within their own country; child brides; murdering gay people; killing apostates and non-believers; capturing non-muslim women/girls and considering them sex slaves “war booty”; rape of boys and girls by men who use Mohammad as their perfect example of how to behave. They believe the prescribed lies the muslim is encouraged to tell, even when their eyes and ears tell them differently. The don’t realize the options will be 1) Convert 2) Be killed 3) Take your place as a dhimmi and pay the tax (this is so non-muslims don’t have to earn their own living) 4) Slavery (women: sex slave, men: you can look forward to castration)

The left will also deny the stages of jihad and continually parrot “Islam is the religion of peace”. They will deny results of PEW research and others who have investigated this, and, they will fervently maintain a small minority have “higjacked the religion”. They are adamant it is a religion, despite all the evidence it is a murderous ideology which is responsible for 290 million deaths and Islamic aggression since it’s inception. This number is growing on a daily basis.

How ironic, the French election shows the world that they don’t care about French Culture, yet all of Canada has to cope with French Culture being rammed down our throats by Quebec.

what the hell is happening in this world?? Has everyone gone mad??? Are we all on a suicide mission?
WE will not survive the globalist agenda nor the islamic agenda! This folks is the end result of literally DECADES OF LIBERALISM. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS BRAINWASHING THROUGHOUT THE WESTERN WORLD. We were the only successful countries, the free countries, the wealthy countries and here we all are in a race to eradicate our culture, values, freedoms, countries and lives!

James Hala.. Good point!… I have no doubt that the culturally suicidal Frenchy vote tonight will “re-focus” the minds of millions of Eastern Europeans about what the EU open borders policies means for them in the long run… With Brexit on one side, and Eastern Europeans upping the guarding of their borders, it’s going to be a “long, hot summer”…

Just to repeat: Le Pen got 34% of the votes. That is no small achievement. It is certainly better than her father did when he ran in the final vote and got less than twenty. Plus, consider the handicap she had of the history of her family’s and party’s extremist and anti-semitic views (which is a little awkward to get away from, considering the Party worked all-out in her campaign). She is by no means finished yet. She did well.

The Majority of the Voters chosing Macron over Le Pen have made their bed & now they can sleep in it.
commented 2017-05-08 00:52:06 -0400
Oh yeah, you’re not silly at all, it’s only a small minority affected by the terrorist attacks. I can’t believe what I heard from these mindless voters. LePen is this & she’s that, yet no one could give you examples or direct facts to back their hate for her. One girl said she hated her, at the same time accusing Le Pen of representing hate.
All the riots that have taken place, the attacks that killed many, it didn’t happen to them directly so everything’s good, nothing to worry about. I will never understand that logic. They may as well hand over the keys to the globalists & Islamists.
Jay Kelly, …..Edward Jobin is right, most of the media on television are lefty, so someone makes an accusation & the media being in the same box never challenge one another & the accusation gets repeated over & over again without ever any retraction & even if there was one, it’s too late. This is much like the Charity CEO emails that have been circulating over & over again, even though they gave been debunked, most didn’t see it, & so it goes, their dirty work has succeeded.

I think there may be a silver lining. It will be amusing to see the little globalist eunuch Eurocreep run France into the ground. This may wake up even the stupidest of the French. Anyone with any sense can understand the nightmare of Islamofascism will not go away but get more virulent by the day. Le Pen may yet have to pick up the pieces and maybe common sense ( sorry I mean " far right" ) ideas will prevail and France yet may be saved. You never know.

Edward Jobin, I get a little tired of hearing terms like “the mainstream media smear merchants”. Are you referring to reporters and commentators in Canada’s major media outlets? The Globe and Mail, National Post, Calgary Herald, CBC, CTV, have some fairly expert and informed reporters who have experience in presenting points of view balanced with, well, balance.

It seems very weak to just write off a huge group of men and women who have devoted themselves to uncovering and reporting the facts and the truth behind the facts.

If you think they are so lacking, why don’t you write an opinion piece for your local paper? If it is even half-sensible they will probably print it.

Making a comment here on The Rebel is alright, but it is certainly limited in its audience. Very, very limited.

The French had a chance to take back their country and they didn’t do it. Whatever happens to them from here on in, I don’t feel sorry for them. When you have patriots like Le Pen and Wilders and you don’t vote for them, you’re a lost cause.
commented 2017-05-07 23:51:58 -0400
What this video does is shows the power of the mainstream media smear merchants who repeat accusations over and over without being challenged as most likely they have a stranglehold on the television networks just like they do in Canada and the U.S. Interestingly when asked why they didn’t like Le Pen they said because she is far right etc. but when pressed what policy or thing did she say that you can point to and they were all doing the Jackie Gleason humanu humanu humana. They were behaving like the perfect little indoctrinated wind up toys giving the programmed answer without processing the meaning.
