Today's round up of indicators of where the culture and civilization is now, after another 24 hours of attacks by far left wing extremism, and its chief agent, religious Islam.
Now this case will create a small dilemma for the judiciary. If the accused's defense is that his parent's Islamic faith endangered his life, then an acquittal suggests that Islam routinely uses lethal force to enforce its narrow morality.
This would put the government in the fun position of claiming Islam is perfectly miscible with Western leftism while simultaneously granting gay people (and others who feel threatened by Islam) leave to use preemptive self defense.
This one could get interesting.

SCHOOLS in Rochdale have sent warning letters to parents after an Asian man was spotted approaching pupils in a black car.
Several schools in the town were advised by police to write and send texts alerting parents after a man was seen trying to entice youngsters into his vehicle.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) received several reports in the past two weeks alone that an Asian man, driving a black Seat, was approaching pupils and trying to encourage them to get in his car.
So that's working out well then. De-radicalizing Muslims from Islam while claiming that the problem isn't Islam but some "radical variant" of it is working out just great for Germany's Sikhs. And everyone else.
One of the Muslim terrorists who bombed a Sikh temple in Germany was enrolled in an anti-radicalisation “Salafist prevention” program.
Police in Germany have recently released more information regarding the two teenage terrorists who carried out a bomb attack on a Sikh temple in Essen. The two 16-year old’s Mohammed B. from Essen and Yussuf T. from Gelsenkirchen who are said to be supporters of the Islamic state.
The pair carried out the bombing to wage jihad even though one of them was enrolled in an anti-radicalisation program, Die Weltreports.
You say Salafi, and I say jihadi. You say wahabbi, and I say Wasabi. Salafi. Jihadi. Wahabbi. Wasabi. Let's blow the whole thing up.
German news report on the two religious Muslims who attacked a Sikh temple here:
Rev Peter Zucca, of Shawclough , was assaulted while wearing his cassock as he went to cross the street - and police are treating the incident as a hate crime.
The 73-year-old was on Spotland Road after leaving Ashworth Street Surgery when the bottle was thrown.
He did not see the attacker, but was told by a witness who came to his aid that the person who threw the bottle appeared to aim it deliberately. [...] “A lady came to help me. I was very shaken up. She told me the car was full of Asian lads and one of them had taken aim as he threw it.”
If it was the other way around of course, and some indigenous British people attacked an Imam in the usual frock, the attacker would be in custody with his eyelids forced open watching Bilal Phillips videos full Clockwork-Orange style by now.
This is a little like a warren of foxes forming a committee to find out who is stealing the chickens and put a stop to it. Meeting held at usual hen house over dinner.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has announced plans to tackle anti-Semitism and other forms of racism within the party.
It follows the suspension of former London Mayor Ken Livingstone over comments he made about Adolf Hitler being a "Zionist".
Mr Corbyn says he will be proposing a new code of conduct on anti-Semitism to Labour's national executive committee next month.
This will make it "explicitly clear for the first time" that Labour will not tolerate any form of racism, including anti-Semitism, among its members.
Mr Corbyn is also planning to set up an inquiry into anti-Semitism and racism, to be chaired by the former director of Liberty Shami Chakrabarti.
