Gal Gadot slammed for Stephen Hawking tweet; “quarter-life crises” & Trump vs. Russia

Amanda HeadRebel Contributor

* Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has been in Hollywood hot water in the past, mostly for being pro-Israel.

But now she's being called "ableist" over her lovely tweet about the late astrophysicist Stephen Hawking.

Actually, it was a particularly gracious message on her part, considering how critical Hawking was of her homeland while he was alive.

Funny, though: Stephen Hawking somehow overlooked the key role Israel played in giving him the ability to communicate...

* Over half of Millennials surveyed reported that they feel they are going through a "quarter life crisis."

Are you freaking kidding me? Maybe it’s because you’re a bunch of mushy-brained wimps who complain about everything — and act on nothing...?

* If Trump is a puppet of Russia, he’s a really bad one!

Let's review what his administration has been up to in the past 48 hours...

Andrew Stephenson funny how my generation had to work as well. I had a job when i was in grade 12.
You act like they were hard done by or something. GET REAL!

Andrew, I can appreciate what your post is saying. Languishing in prolonged victimhood mentality isn’t productive, it’s quite the opposite.
Marxist ideology isn’t the answer.

I believe the “quarter life crisis” is the result of too many people not finding a purpose or struggling to lead meaningful lives. A bit of a Peter Pan syndrome. Quite a few Millennials have been encouraged to extend their teens well into their twenties, expecting there will be plenty of time to grow up and be successful."

A lot of Millennials didn’t have a choice in the matter. The core of the generation graduated into the workforce when it all went to hell in 2008 – things were pretty grim there for four or five years. If your first experience as an adult is one of hopelessness and profound uncertainty, that doesn’t tend to go away. It’s also probably why Millennials are so attracted to the left wing optimists like Nenshi and Trudeau.

OK. Let’s be honest here. Gal is a flash in the pan. Once her ‘frowny-look’ grows old, well there just isn’t much else in the package. BUT . .. . .. . . her remarks were tasteful and well said. Her detractors are people who have little else to do with their time but find fault in others. Perhaps they too need to be liberated from their earthly constraints?

The “quarter life crisis” isn’t unique to Millennials – the concept of a profound individual rearrangement in the mid-20s was observed back in the 60s. Why didn’t half the boomers report the same? Because nobody asked back then. Admitting that it’s emotionally difficult to deal with life’s challenges does not make one “mushy” – stigmatization mental health concerns definitely belongs in the dustbin of history.

I suppose Ezra will still be calling Millennials “mushy” for having midlife crises in a decade or so. Instead of being like his generation, and simply buying a Corvette to salve the emotional black hole, because you’re too afraid of being a “mushy brained wimp” to actually talk to someone about it.

Hawking may of been a prominent scientist but he should of left political commentary alone. I always got the impression he was an anti-Semite and he was not a supporter of Trump. Instead of pointing fingers outside of his country, he needed to look inward at the horrific mess that Britain is in. If he was such a genius, why could he not fix things there. These guys are all the same to me, from Hawking, to Mandela, to Musk, they all get famous, they get a fan following. But do they REALLY ACCOMPLISH anything? How has Hawking impacted the average persons life with what he has researched and written about? Mandela’s South Africa is of course a paradise, just ask Katie Hopkins. And Musk he comes up with outlandish, ridiculous ideas about going to live on Mars when he has difficulty getting a supply rocket to the International Space Station without it blowing up.
And Millennials living in their parents basements. If any of the Millennials have children, the sad thing is, their children won’t have access to a basement to live in.

Tom Bradly we cannot stop people from speaking freely , nor would we. This article is just showing how idiotic some people are.

Tom Bradly you are confusing us with the left and the whiney wimps of the next generation. I have been to idiot protests like Occupy to counter protest and was very vocal and never stepped down for anyone. Now go bend over.

Haha! You just describe most of the people that comment on here. Lots of talk (bitchin and whining) very little action.

- The outrage against Gal Gadot is not surprising. We allowed the moronic left to be empowered & then this crap happens.

- The Millennials are what’s produced when you have a lets not keep score, everyone who shows up gets a trophy upbringing.

- Trump is no puppet but the left ignores whatever doesn’t fit their narrative.
