Rebel travels to the Philippines to uncover the facts about Canada's garbage ship! (Watch ALL of our videos here)

Jessica SwietoniowskiRebel Correspondent

Canada’s recycling is mainly fake. Most recycling is just dumped in the landfill or burned.

We like to pretend that we’re clean and environmental when really, we just outsource our worst garbage to the poor countries of the world.

Six years ago, dozens of huge cargo containers of Canadian garbage of the grossest variety — including adult diapers — were shipped to the Philippines, where it rotted.

After six years, Filipino president Rodrigo Duterte was fed up with all this, and demanded in no uncertain terms that Canada, that Trudeau, take our garbage back.

So, finally, Canada’s garbage was loaded on a ship to be sent back to Canada.

Now, what kind of idiot would want that garbage?

 Catherine McKenna! She tweeted:

This weirdo is banning ships that would export ethical oil to Asia. But she’s giddy about welcoming ships bringing toxic garbage back to Canada, to "power homes"?

It's crazy.

So The Rebel is sending me to the Philippines, to ask ordinary Filipinos how they feel about being Canada's dumping ground.

You just know that the CBC and the rest of the mainstream media cabal won't do that — they're fully on board with McKenna's climate scam.

So, if you like our idea and want to get involved, please consider helping to crowdfund my airfare and cheap accommodation. Please click here to make a contribution — whether it's $5, $10, or $500, it all helps!

Catherine McKenna welcomes rotting garbage back to Canada

June 2, 2019: Last week, on The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra went into great detail just how ridiculous this whole saga is.

Between her drunk rant in St. John's to her excited tweet welcoming the shipment of dozens of containers of old, rotting garbage from the Philippines, just how much damage will Catherine McKenna do to Canada's reputation on the world stage?

It was shipped over to the Philippines under Harper – not Trudeau.
Let’s not resort to the MSM “fake news” strategy.

“We” Canadians did NOT send garbage to the Philippines.

Some company did. Name the company.

Have the garbage shipped to Ottawa and delivered to PLASCO. If allowed to resuscitate its plasma arc chimney-less garbage disposal pilot plant, PLASCO would soon dispose of the garbage, producing a hydrogen-rich gas which can burned to produce electric power, a lot of useful aggregate, pure water and a residue of heavy metals. Maybe a demonstration of this world-beating technology would convince the governments in Canada to abandon landfills and switch to this inoffensive, possibly profitable process. Philippines might be interested in buying such a plant.

I’ve always wondered about the sincerity of the City of Ottawa when it comes to garbage and what is done with it. If you are a homeowner, the rules are dictatorial. Residents studiously separate garbage according to rules the city issues.

A comment from a person who claimed to have been employed at “the dump” in Ottawa, stated that once the garbage arrives it’s all placed on a conveyer belt together and is separated once again. I have never seen a video offered to the highly taxed residents in Ottawa, showing how terrific this process is and I’d definitely like to know what really happens to the garbage here.

I would ask Catherine McKenna because she lives here too. However, when I enquired about a Liberal poster stating that now a person could receive $1,700 more/year via increased Old Age Security and the Guaranteed Income Supplement to help seniors with the rising cost of living, there was no factual answer forthcoming, just quoting the methods by which OAS and CPP are determined.

March, 2019, I also wrote to The Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister of Seniors with the same question – how does a person receive this increase – and I have received no reply.

As a friend of mine commented, the replies are nothing but a sham and the handling of garbage in Ottawa is probably in similar territory.

I agree, we should NOT of sent containers to the Philippines with garbage in them. They were supposed to get just recyclable material, they didn’t. We need to right that wrong.
On the other hand Duterte needs to tone down his position, being so aggressive. He is forgetting how so many from the Philippines that live in Canada send money to the Philippines every year, stimulating their economy with free money. Mega millions and over the years many billions have been filling their pockets taken out of our economy. No different than if we just burned the money. All it gets us is more from the Philippines coming to Canada and sending even more money home. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. That money could be, with the right government, cut off. And they would feel the loss if that happened.

Would love to watch a Rebel-exclusive interview with President Duterte.
Give the guy a chance to tell us what he REALLY thinks.

Perhaps you should follow the garbage load into Canada and audit exactly where this material is being burned. I would bet this material is just being incinerated without any benefit to the environment or production of power. In fact if you were to dig in you’d find a negative impact on our environment. If there is one thing climate stooge is good at is misinformation and a profound ignorance to what is truly an environmental success. Burning this garbage to produce power is by far the dirtiest fuel you could find to generate power. It is toxic inefficient and has zero benefit to the environment. I would go further to suggest the incinerator they use is one that uses carbon base fuel to run the high temperatures needed to incinerate the toxins. Therefore, the burning garbage does not actually run any form of power generation. It is the carbon fuel used to incinerate that is actually creating power generation.
McKenna is pushing fake science along with fake news. Who will be censoring the liberal fake news come election time? It won’t be CBC the Star, CTV or any other left wing media outlet taking the payola to lie to Canadians for liberal fake news and misinformation. Ezra will the public have access to file complaints against the truly fake media? Who is censoring Trudeau. I think it would be a hoot to run a daily tally on the number of false and misleading things Trudeau and company spew during the election as was done by the Star against Trump. Our babbling idiot of a PM couldn’t put two sentences together that didn’t conflict with the other.
