The latest Liberal MP to try to defend his government's tax grab on farmers and small businesses was Robert Falcon Ouellette, MP for the riding of Winnipeg Centre.
At the Liberal caucus retreat over the weekend, Ouellette said he was “100% on board” with his government's plan, asking:
“How much income does one really need to earn in life in order to have a good life?”
But he wasn’t quite done with the Marxist mumbo jumbo.
Ouellette then said:
“You can't have people sitting behind in their gated communities and saying well you know let them eat cake.”
That seems like a really out of touch thing to say about farmers, especially from the comfort of a luxury funded taxpayer retreat.
But as socialist and peculiar as Ouellette maybe, he did get me thinking:
Watch my video to see the life of “inherited wealth” and tax havens our finance minister Bill Morneau leads.
(I bet he even eats cake behind a gate!)
