Free speech is the most important issue in Western culture and the epicenter of this conflict is college.
I know they’re just kids but college kids grow up to be anchors at CNN. As Whitney Houston says, “I believe that children are our future.”
Ariana Rowlands is the president of the UCI Republicans and after fighting tooth and nail to get Milo Yiannopoulos to complete a talk at her school, we assumed her work was done.
On the contrary, the backlash against her had only begun.
That’s what so amazing about these mavericks. We assume getting the talk to happen is the mission but surviving the backlash is a huge part of the fight.
University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Morgan Paradis is a member of Young Americans for Freedom and after she organized a talk with Milo, she assumed the victory was the talk.
Afterwards, a trans student (clearly a dude) who was singled out in the talk, waged war on Morgan and she has received death threats ever since.
We revere these students because unlike the victim culture where you can become a famous martyr by carrying a mattress around, these women put their personal safety on the line for almost nothing but danger.
Let’s hope these children are the future and not the brats who torture them.
