This past weekend I went to the Vancouver Pride Parade. I know Pride isn't for everyone, but it signifies that we have the rights and freedoms in Canada to openly be gay, something that a lot of countries in the world don't allow.
I took my friend and Rebel contributor James Campbell, who says he gets more flack for being conservative than being gay.
You may remember that Vancouver's Pride Parade made headlines when Black Lives Matter demanded Vancouver Police Department (VPD) stay out of the parade. They marched in the parade after all, but kept their military vehicle out.
Well, James disagreed strongly with that, so he wore a shirt that said "All Lives Matter" and asked paraders what they thought about BLM’s demand.
WATCH to see the reaction we got.
BLM was actually allowed to lead the Dyke March this year. So we went to that, too — and got a very different response. We even talked to the mayor!
As far as I can see, all this grandstanding by Black Lives Matter is nothing more than attention seeking from a small group with nothing better to do.
