Messing with Millennials: Should Toronto Zoo get a “Tamil tiger”?

David MenziesMission Specialist

The pandas were a big hit at the Toronto Zoo, so just imagine what the acquisition of a couple of rare jungle cats would do for attendance numbers.

Watch as I ask members of Generation Trudeau on Ryerson University campus if they think the zoo should spend a few million to purchase a Bengal Tiger and a slightly more ferocious Tamil Tiger...

uhmmm… I’m not sure this was a fair shot at our mind numbingly ignorant (and, I mean ignorant in the truest sense of the word: undereducated) millennials. The only reason I know about the Tamil Tigers is because I saw the story breaking in the news back when the news was mostly still real. And, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and talk to a real live Tamil Tiger.

In any event, how much did you know, about things your parents talked of, that happened when you were young or before you were even born? You just can’t know everything. It’s not possible. So, I don’t blame the millennials as much as you might think. They haven’t been taught about what’s happening locally, never mind nationally or internationally or globally, except for the non global warming issue. They’re being shielded from the past and kept in the dark about what’s taking place in front of their faces. I kind of have a new insight and understanding of what Christ meant, when he was talking about the very people who were trying to crucify Him: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”

HOWEVER!, I cannot give them a pass for the incredible arrogance these little sucks are steeped in. Not one of them stopped to ask what a Tamil Tiger even was. They just all acted like big shot commentators so they could get their vain faces on the TV. Like they knew where a Tamil Tiger lived and the dangers they faced. Acting like they had all wisdom. Suffocatingly arrogant.

I rest my case. These are the intellectual morons that put Jihadi Justin into power. Regrettably, we’re all beginning to suffer the consequences!

I have a pet tamil tiger. I keep it in the bath tub in my apartment (chained up, of course). I’d be in deep doo-doo if the landlady found out. No pets allowed.

They want free education. Hey, I say why not? You get what you pay for. As that old Kris Kristopherson song says, “nothin’ ain’t worth nothin’ but it’s free”.

Allan – I’m honoured! And I enjoy reading your thoughtful comments as well.

Just goes to prove Peterson’s maxim: The sum of intelligence is a constant. Only the population is increasing.

Deborah, as a connoisseur of great phrases, I have to give you top marks for that one: “Mainlining lies”. And stupidity, and shallowness, and the list goes on. Thanks for that.

obviously more people who are educated beyond their intelligence

David, I hope you gave these Guys the Rebel address, so they can see themselves Online.

Hold That Tiger, Hold That Tiger, (Old song).

They have no idea what a free education will get them. It’s mainlining lies from those who wish to control their minds and lives, more and more each day.

David – I don’t know how you can do this job, but I would think your great sense of humour helps immensely. They really need to see how stupid they are, so they have a chance to be saved.

UNBELIEVABLE……….. what planet are they from…………..and they want free education. What a waste of $$$. Ryerson is a University?

“Just For Laughs GAGS”.

David Menzies, great story idea! I’m surprised no one used their phone to look up Tamil Tigers….these students are clueless. Wow!

The zoo cleared/destroyed natural local Canadian habitat to make more parking space so more people could see the pandas. Lazy, boring animals. I get more excited when a rabbit hops through my back yard. Liberals only care about the environment when exotic foreign species are threatened and think it makes them sound morally superior to save rare tigers:.. even fake ones! If you’re a local bird, mammal, or plant species you’re expendable.

David,

You really should tell those effing idiots who act so “educated” when you chat with them to come here and see the article.

And then tell them to read the comments below.

To those students – in plain language:

“You are so stupid that you actually embarrass me to even be a Canadian. Your so called professors sure as hell are not teaching you much of anything from what I observed while watching those interviews. Now shut the eff up and go learn some things about life.”
