Sexist Gillette ad equates Harvey Weinstein with boys roughhousing

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Michael Knowles from the Daily Wire joined me to discuss the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the sexist Gillette ad, and what it says about the concept of masculinity today.

The Gilette advertisement compared the sexually predatory acts of Harvey Weinstein to young boys roughhousing at a barbeque. The comparison isn't just disgusting and inaccurate, it completely ignores the fact that Weinstein is a self-described "feminist" and supporter of the Democrats.

WATCH my interview with Michael to see why the real "toxic masculinity" exists in Hollywood and on the Left.

No, the ad doesn’t do that at all. What a ridiculous and hyperbolic headline. It’s no wonder The Rebel isn’t really taken seriously.

Men:
They told women what to wear, how many kids to have, join our sports, wear our make up & define what a mother is. All in this century in the west.
One bitch goes spastic and its ww3.
I disagree with the commercial entirely. But I’m also ticked off you guys weren’t made aware what our boundaries are from a conservative point if view.

This ad is an example of what might be called “womansplaining.”
